oooh, APPLES! Or rather, Apple cider. It's kind of iffy when I first put it on. A little too smoky, a little too foody (just like All Saints did to me), but that disappears pretty damn quickly. I'm left with this warm cider over autumn air and leaves with just an itty bitty hint of smoke in the background. Four hours in it's still smellable. The cider wafts up to my nose but maybe it just got on my shirt from putting it on my neck, or from my hair? My wrists now smell like autumn leaves and autmn air with more of that smokey bon firey smell, but not so much as Hunter Moon. Man, the smoke on that one KILLED me! It's there but it's below the surface enough to be an after thought. Overall, I'm in love...it's in a nice little roll-on bottle which means it gets to live with me.

I can do sweetness up to a point, and then I'm done. Jailbait, Sugar Skull, Bon Vivant and I believe Hollywood babylon all crossed my threshold of tolerance.

At first it smells like Harvest Moon on me. Then after fifteen or so minutes the foody smell fades and it's a resiny/incensy blend with a light floral after taste to it. As time goes on the floral notes emerge more and the resiny/incensy pulls back a bit. But the resin and incense never totally goes away but the florals do very slowly come up to the front. I love this!

Black Rose is my favorite Rose.

Sweet with a dark undertone. Coconut and Iris are the most prominent notes with musk behind it. I can't smell any hazelnut on me at all right now. It dries down to a kind of sweet fruit smell. not too fruity, kind of like sugared fruit kind of fruit. The hzelnut comes out a bit more once it's been dried down for a while. It really is mostly coconut and musk on me and I adore it! And of course I adore hypothermya for giving me an imp of it! Six hours later I still have a hint of it on my skin, but I'd normally reapply every two to three hours.

I went for Jack in hopes the sugary part would help wake me up for work. it didn't. But at least I smell good still!

I haven't even tried half of those, but as a general rule for interviews: wear something VERY light and subtle or nothing at all. A lot of people are allergic and all else and you don't want to end up making a bad impression because they don't like Hollywood Babylon or because Three Jacks is too strong. I would suggest Tempest or Velvet really lightly applied.

Why aren't you supposed to wear perfume? I don't think I know anyone with that rule at work.

minty forest. where did my cherries from the bottle go?! I would have loved this with the cherries, but alas no, minty forest...i don't really like the pine/cedar/tree scents.

I know there's a thread about this somewhere but I can't find it right now. Are there any oils I could use to dilute an oil? I would think a general carrier oil would work for this but I want one with little to no scent and don't want to pay a fortune for it just so I can dilute a scent that's a bit too strong for me. Normally I'd just put less of it on, but it's the scent itself, it just kind of takes over and all I can smell is the scent which is good but it gets annoying. Any ideas/links?

Hands down, this is everything I wanted Capricorn to be! Although, since Saturn is Cap's ruling planet I suppose it's fitting that it is. It reminds me of Noir a bit, but more woody, more earthy. It's dark and demanding. I'm not sure if I'd say it's masculine on me, but maybe I just don't draw the line where everyone else does. There are trees in this, red wood or pine or cedar...but they don't overpower me like they did in Capricorn. There's a spiciness hiding just under the top note which is a resinous/incensy scent. The scent of this oil matches its chestnut brown color. It's sexy in a damn naughty way, like a mistress with a whip all dressed in leather who is going to make damn sure you behave or else pay your punishment for not following her rules. It's sex in the back of the library with that refined, slightly dirty older man (like being pinned against the stacks by Anthony Stewart Head as Giles). It's harsh and by the book with very deep lines traced in the sand. I want to go cause some trouble in a public place and be naughty all day long. I need a bigger bottle of this! Glitter and Shattered I never smelt the lotus in, and neither was very sweet on me. BTW, Lotus is an aquatic smelling scent...to me it smells like a mix of rain and aloe.

Hehe, love the lecture Red Hot! (I like caling you that.) I've actually been using an old diary key to get under the reducer caps then bring it all around under it to get it up then it just pops off easily.

I've only tried Malice and Nyx but they are great! I especially adore Malice. Hope they work for ya.

I am starting to hate the reducers...I need to remember to request that beth not put them on. They're a pain when I decant and usually I get nothing when I flip the bottle over but then all of a sudden it comes running out to great me! So, I've been prying off the reducer caps and throwing them out (pitty, 'cause that's an entire application for me!) and I have been decanting into smaller bottles for my own use (either an 1/8 oz with a wand on the cap or little 1/16 oz bottles that are small enough to cover with a finger and tip over and apply with my fingertip.)

Noir, Blood, Phantom Queen and Queen of Spades all last pretty long on me.

I mostly smell the dragon's blood and juniper. It's lightly floral with a touch of woodsyness. I'm in love already!

Right now its wet and very sage-y. Sage isn't really my favorite scent ever. I was hoping for more cherry, apple and blackberry. I'll give it a few hours before making up my mind, but I'm not sure if we'll get along too well.

This is completely and utterly fresh cut grass on me. Everyone else is getting this citrus thing but all I had was grass. Up for Swap it goes. It smelled so pretty in the vial too.
