    Are you Amazon & Etsy Wishlists up to date? I'll update my Amazon one with books I'd like to read, in case it makes the Story category easier - there's loads but I tend to keep them in my head (until they fall out so I never end up getting them). will do this tonight (13 November).

    How do you feel about animated films? I tend to really like them. LOVE Studio Ghibli stuff and that whole aesthetic. I also like French animated films like Belleville Rendezvous and The Illusionist. And I'm a general fan of Disney.

    Does anyone need any cosmetic or larger bags? I always need bags of all sizes!

    If I were to knit you something like fingerless mitts, do you like short or long over the fingers? To the wrist, mid arm, or to the elbow? Thumb or a thumb hole? Frilly or not? Preferred color? I like fingerless gloves so I can still use my phone, or those ones with a mitten flap - though I expect they're difficult to knit! I like gloves that go to the wrist, no frills just as minimal as possible, though multi-colour/variegated colour is nice. Navy, purple, orange, green are my preferred colours (preferably fairly dark as my gloves always end up getting mucky for some reason!).

    Is there a book you've always meant to read, but never got round to it? A Tale of Two Cities, Brighton Rock, anything by Edgar Allen Poe, anything by Jack London.

    If you've expressed an interest in candles, do you prefer unscented or scented and if the latter, what scents? Both! For scented, I like woodsy, smoky scents and also love lavender. My favourite candle of all time is a blackcurrant and rose blend. I really like beeswax candles too.

    Do you like windchimes or other similar tinkley noisemakers? I really don't like wind chimes. I'm up for any noisemakers that I can control - music boxes, for example.

    Do you/would you like Christmas/holiday music? If so, any particular genres or styles? I do! Jazz Christmas music might be fun, or just anything unusual - I have all the usual songs already.

    Do you have a Goodreads? Is it useful for my stalking purposes? I don't I'm afraid, but I'm about to update my Amazon wishlist with books so hopefully that will give a feel for what I like!

    Are there any holiday movies or shows you would particularly love to get your hands on? I think I've got the ones I want already

    Would you prefer your nourishment to be literal (i.e., actual food) or representative? Either! I like the idea of representative, but I do love food, so...

    In terms of actual food, are you comfortable with homebaked goodies so long as potential allergens are not involved? As long as it will survive ok in the post - absolutely!

    Do you have favorite holiday foodstuffs? I'm a mince pie fiend. I also love Lebkuchen and anything involving cinnamon.

    Are you adverse to burning things as part of your sacrifice? Not at all! I like burning things

    So how do you feel about teas? Would you be interested in getting some for your "nourishment" part of your gift? If so, are there particular companies you love or have always wanted to try? Special varieties you like- holiday blends, or decaf or solid standards like Earl Grey or Sencha? Love tea! Bagged or loose leaf. I don't know about brands but my favourite teas are Russian Caravan and Lapsang Souchong as I love the smokiness, but I like pretty much everything. A holiday blend sounds amazing! Any tasty decafs are welcome too - I'm avoiding caffeine after midday at the moment.

    And what about tea accoutrements, like rock sugar, nice honey (I have a fabulous apiary that is literally 6 blocks from my house!), a special spoon? Yes please to all three! I adore honey, especially floral honeys like Lavender - it mostly goes on my toast, but it could go in tea!

    Or maybe coffee is more your thing? I have access to an incredible little shop that sells some of the best bean I've ever had (let me put it this way- even when I lived in Coffee Capital SEATTLE, I had bean delivered to me from this place!). If you like coffee, what kinds? (this place does AMAZING DECAF as well as the strong stuff!). And would you want your beans whole or ground (if ground, what grind do you like?) I really like coffee, though I don't know too much about it. I drink espresso from a moka pot, and I like it strong and smooth. I have a grinder, so ground or whole is fine by me!

    - Scented candle lovers: do you have a favorite store/brand? My favourites happen to be prohibitively expensive unfortunately - Neom, Diptyque and Molton Brown. BUT, I love trying indie brands and would love to try some new ones. Edited to add that I do like Yankee too! Especially their baby powder, the cotton one and anything cinnamon/christmassy.
    Favorite/Least favorite bath products (e.g. do you like scrubs, bar soap, gel)? Favourite- bath oil/salt/bubbles, scrubs, body lotion. Least favourite- bar soap, shower gel, shampoo (I have fussy hair).

    - What sounds are comforting for you? Any that bring up good memories? Crickets/cicadas! And rain, thunderstorms, general rainforest sounds. I used to have an app that had all sorts of sounds, and I *loved* one that was called something like Hollywood summer nights or something. It was a combination of summer garden sounds and a distant freeway, it was perfection; but the app isn't available anymore

    - Would YOU like to receive a singing bowl? I would! I've recently started meditating, so I think a usable singing bowl would be great.

    - Would you mind receiving a pre-loved book (one in good condition)? Not at all! I actually particularly love old Penguin classics (with the coloured panel covers), but all second hand books are fine by me.

    - How do you feel about fruitcake, assuming that I can make it without any stated allergens? Not for me, thanks.

    - How about rum/whiskey/bourbon balls (these are no-cook, so the alcohol is still pretty potent)? Very much for me, thanks!

    - What is your favorite store-bought holiday treat? Candy canes, jelly fruits, boozy truffles.

    - Imagine that you're given a shoebox-sized time capsule, and you are asked to put any number of items in the box that symbolize who you are. The items can be may be anything you can imagine, and money is no object, but they must fit within the box. What do you choose? Notebook & pink gel pen, a few paints, a four-cheese pizza (probably a calzone, so it'll fit), a GPS watch, a sprig of lavender, some fancy bath oil, my kindle, some shells from my nearby beach, a ticket to my local comedy club, one of those classy little cans of gin & tonic.

    - Do you need storage boxes/bottles/containers? Decorated or Plain? I always need more containers of any sort. Decorated or plain, I don't mind.
     
    - The world has given you the day off. You hear that, no chores, responsibilities, or budget you have to follow. What would you do in those 24 hours? Helicopter up to Edinburgh with my husband and have pancakes at my favourite cafe. Then fly to Tuscany, where a Maserati would be waiting for us. Drive round Tuscany looking at the scenery until we arrive at Bologna at lunchtime. Have cotoletta bolognese and some good wine for lunch, then spend the afternoon wandering the streets looking in little shops etc. Go to a deli and buy some really good meats, cheeses, bread and wines, and spend the evening on a private balcony overlooking the city. So basically, I'd eat.
    - Do you like steampunk & if so what kind of steampunk item would you most like to receive? I do! I love the aesthetic and I've read a few stories/seen a couple of steampunk films, I'd be open to anything.

    - What is something totally random (yes, that thing that just popped into your head) that hasn't been covered by any previous questions? This might have come across in previous questions, but I'm basically obsessed with art/pictures to do with cities or the night sky, or ideally a combination of the two. Just as an example, this is one of my favourite prints that I have, and I love Jeremy Mann's cityscapes. I also really like art/crafts depicting the moon, either realistically or more cartoony.

    Would you like one of the Teeturtle t-shirts?
    I'd only wear them for 'lounge wear', but they're cute for that - especially the Howling at the Moon glow in the dark one! The relaxed M would probably be best for me.

    How do you feel about indie makeup?
    I've never used it, but I am up for trying. I don't wear much eyeshadow but I'm a blush & highlighter addict.

    What are your feelings about Scooby Doo?
    Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School was one of my most-watched videos as a kid, but my enthusiasm for SD has since waned.

    Would you be interested in trying Criobru?
    It sounds interesting, so sure.

    How would you feel about receiving a hand-painted container for your bpal and/or other treasures? would you want a big wood box (~50 bottles), a small wood box (~20 bottles) or a tin for carrying imps around?
    I would love that - my bpals are currently kept in USPS priority mail boxes

    Who is into K-Beauty (Korean beauty products like sheet masks): Ive only tried a few things but I love them!
    - What are your faves if you are? Sheet masks definitely, essences, high SPFs for the face and anything in cute packaging. I know I like Tony Moly stuff, and Id love to try other brands.

    What are some NEW things you've gotten interested in this year? Could be anything, from a new hobby, new genre of book, new healthy way of living, new fav brand of whatever... Running is the big thing Ive gotten into this year.
    Ive also started following baseball after seeing the Tampa Bay Rays on holiday. Being in the UK I dont have a particular attachment to any place in the US so I decided to support the Phillies because I like their typeface (then I saw their performance, but Im sticking with them anyway).

    What are your coffee and/or tea preferences? Coffee: whole beans or ground? Flavor and roast preferences? Tea: black, green, herbal, flavors? Loose leaf or tea bags? Anything specific you don't like? Are you in need of any gadgetry?: I drink too much espresso, using a stove top moka pot, and I love trying new coffees - whole beans ideally. As far as flavour/roast, the richer & stronger the better! I also love tea, all teas but Russian Caravan is my favourite - I love smokiness. I like both loose leaf and bags, so I can choose depending on my laziness level. I think I have the gadgetry I need, and I definitely don't need any more espresso cups (I have approx. 2 million).

    Are you a Moonalisa fan? Never heard of it before, but the stuff looks nice!

    That would be cool! I'm enjoying using TALs so something like this would be nice. As for purpose, anything to do with creativity or motivation/discipline would be most useful.

    Do you like poetry? I like a few poets, mostly the metaphysical poets and I love Philip Larkin's work. I usually *hate* hearing poetry recited though.

    Anyone like handmade critters, stuffed animals, or custom repaints? I do! Although I'm not sure what a custom repaint is, but if it falls in the same category as stuffed animals I'm sure it's good.

    Would you enjoy any designer/specialty yarn for your own craftyness? I don't knit (yet) so yarn wouldn't get much use

    Would you use knitted washcloths? a scarf? Are you allergic or sensitive to any fibers? I have quite a few scarves already but kitted washcloths sound nice! No allergies.

    If you could be ANY character from a film, TV show or book, who would it be and why?

    If you could hop into a time machine and travel anywhere/anytime, where would it be and why? Victorian London has always appealed, especially the shady backstreets!

    Do you like and/or want anything from Elements and Artifacts? You can be vague like "yes" or "no" or name specific past pieces you coveted or current ones you love, whatever works best. The stuff is really pretty, so yes - not earrings or rings though.

    Do you prefer reading on Kindle or actual book? What kind of books do you like? Would you like to be surprised with a scary, classic, horror book? I like both - love my kindle, but I still like attractive old books, and new books for non-fiction

    Candles, Incense, or wax tarts? Do you have favorite brands or Weenies scents for the home? Would you like to receive a wax tarts burner, incense burner, essential oils diffuser, or Halloweenie themed candle holders? Candles are always welcome. I haven't had a tart burner for years and I would really like one. I've got an essential oil diffuser.

    Are you a gamer? If so, what games are you currently playing and is there any merch for that game you'd love to have?
    I only play games casually these days- I don't have a console or a PC, just a MacBook Pro, and I always have to quit WoW because I can't play in moderation! My main game these days is Stardew Valley, I've seen some adorable SDV merch around and would love anything to do with it! I also love the Elder Scrolls series and would be very happy with any related merch.

    How do you feel about the following scarf options (assuming you're into scarves)?
    Simple eyelet scarf - The blue is really nice Chevron scarf - I already have one similar Lacy and fuzzy - I prefer thick, warm scarves! Skinny rib knit (extra long for lots of wrapping) - Nice! Leafy! - Not for me

    Like beer? What styles most appeal to you? - No, it's largely vile. I do like Hoegaarden and Duvel, but I'd never choose them over other alcohol.
    Like booze? What kinds? I'm a big gin fan (and I liked it before it was cool ) - as long as it's not Bombay Sapphire I'm happy. I also like cider, especially Normandy type ciders and ones meant for mulling. Thistly Cross is my favourite cider maker.
    Like Wine? What kinds? I do! I mostly drink red, anything with savoury or smoky notes are a hit for me. I also like prosecco (who doesn't?)


    Would you be interested in a set of hand-made hair falls? It's something I do for fun and I can make any length and do an array of colors! I don't tend to wear anything in my hair, so not for me.

    For those who watch certain movies every year for Halloween, what are those movies, whether horror or not? Any favorite horror movies that aren't necessarily on the annual-viewing list? How do you feel about fan-made merch for these movies? I don't watch horror because I'm too easily freaked out. The nearest thing to horror that I do watch is one of my favourite films - What We Do in the Shadows.

    Is there anything you want from the trading post (or trading post etsy) that is available to order right now? (Fatherhood, Puppers, normal GC things) Definitely!     Do you like to cook and/or bake? Could you use any specific ingredients (spices, oils, salts, extracts, etc.) or kitchen utensils/gadgets? I love to do both! I could really do with a new wooden spoon and a chopping board. I also love to get unusual spices, extracts etc to play with - infused sugar is always nice, and anything rose/Violet/lavender (I was born an old lady, apparently).

    What is 1 thing you would love to see in your final box? Can be ANYTHING - your choice. Hmm... I've been looking at snow globes this morning, so maybe one of those!

    Who would love some USPS eclipse stamps? Sure!

    Favorite gemstones? Opal, amber, sapphire (of all colours, I like to drool over the natural sapphire company site), emerald.

The shadow boxes are really cool but pretty pricey, I love all the snow globes (I bought the It's a Small World one ), and all the dinnerware & cooking stuff. My favourite rides/shows at DW are the Haunted House, Tower of Terror, Mt Everest and more than anything - The Enchanted Tiki Room!

    are you into divination? What kind(s) do you currently do? Do you want more books and/or tools for that type (e.g. new tarot cards, new runes)? Is there a new type of #divination you've been meaning to try, and if so, are you looking for the tool, a book on the subject, or both? I've actually just recently started looking into this, I find tarot very interesting. I'm an uber beginner so very up for books about anything - and I only have digital tarot so a real pack would be lovely.

    It seems like there's a question about socks on the questionnaire, but I don't think it got down to this level: Do you wear them? Any particular style (crew length, knee high, anklet, boot, etc.) or fiber (wool, cotton, bamboo anything but wool, etc.) preference? I do wear socks! Usually crew or ankle length for regular wear, but u *love* fluffy socks for wearing in bed - my feet are permanently cold

    So what are your favorite fandoms? I'm not sure I'm into any fandoms, I don't like star wars, star trek, game of thrones etc. I do like Disney and I saw that might be classed as a fandoms?

    Do you have something you wish you put on your original questionnaire/forgot to put/would like to add on to? I don't think I mentioned that I love maps. Old maps, fictional maps, maps on prints, tea cloths, clothes, jewellery, anything! And I might not have mentioned how much I love baths - baths for me usually last about an hour (it may be a reason I still haven't decided whether I want kids, can't bear the thought of disrupted bathtime...) and I love all bubbles, oils, fizzes, anything to go in a bath!

    If you could decorate your house (or one room) in any one theme, what would it be? Your answer can be as simple ("Star Wars" or "Baroque" or "Modern"), or complicated or a combination (e.g. Victorian Gothic) as you feel best fits. I'd love a night sky themed room, with tiny spotlights all over the ceiling for stars.

    Aprons: Do you wear them, do you want one? Utility, decorative, cooking or crafting? I do, and I would! It would be for cooking.

    Imagine you're going to the most gigantic art & craft show imaginable, and money is no object - what kind of things would you gravitate towards and probably spend money on? Include as specific as you want to get! I would buy a big canvas original painting with either a cityscape, a map, or the night sky on it (or one of each), something from offermanwoodshop.com (the man himself would be at the biggest craft show imaginable, I assume!), a handmade ring with a big old natural sapphire, and an unusual pendant.

    What style/make/etc of phone do you have? What about size of tablet? Laptop? Would you like decals, skins, or cases for any of these? I have an iPhone SE and a 13" Macbook Pro. I'd really like a laptop case as it's getting scruffy, and I change my phone case often so I'm always up for a new one.     Are you interested in anything from Bath & Bodyworks? Which products and scents do you like? www.bathandbodyworks.com/ We don't have this in the UK and I've always ignored it because I assumed the scents would be overly sweet and fruity.     Could you use a muscle rub? (We make ours on the lunar cycle and it has menthol, wintergreen, habanero, cayenne, olive oil, st. john's wort, arnica, beeswax, calendula, and ginger. It tingles. We call it "Thunder Butter". If you have really really super sensitive skin, I would recommend against it. And don't take a hot shower or open all of your pores before using it.) That sounds heavenly divine - I love muscle rubs and need them too!

    Interested in trying some of our rose petal (rose petals, sugar, everclear) or lavender vanilla bean (lavender, vanilla bean, vodka) liqueur? I am beyond interested and am desperate to try both! Lavender liqueur, oh my goodness.

    I didn't dry any apples this year but I was thinking of heading over to Green Bluff and seeing if any honeycrisps are left. I have a commercial dehydrator so let me know if you are interested in any "Apple Crips" (as voodoocatwoman calls them!) I wash, peel, core, and slice before dehydrating. They sound nice!

    Do you need any kind of dice bag, tote, project bag, cosmetic bag, pencil bag, or whatever? I have lots of bag patterns and fabric. We make bags under the name Twinkle N Twilight.
    Or how about a couple of pillowcases? I can't have enough totes or pencil cases so either of those would be very much appreciated

    Favorite animals or wild creatures or mythological creatures? Foxes! It's pretty much guaranteed that I'll love anything fox-related. Jack Russells, greyhounds & whippets, tuxedo cats, bears, goats, sharks, capybaras. I don't think there are any mythological creatures I particularly love.

    Is anyone interested in the new Resistance scents that the Lab just released (Take a Knee and SN: Flor de Maga)? Yes! Either. Take a Knee doesn't appeal to me as a scent as apple pie can go very wonky on me (though I love grass/earth notes) but I very much support the cause so I'd love a bottle anyway.

    Awesome farmer's market by my house. They have a local honey stand (which also sells things made from local honey like Propolis tincture!); there's a small apothecary and she additionally makes soaps and hand-made, hand-poured scented candles; plus a guy that makes an array of BBQ and Hot Sauces.
