    Aziraphale

I was a bit surprised at sweet this became on my skin without being too sweet. It is the most light gentle wood, surrounded by sweetness with a touch of dust. Really lovely.

Recs for those who can't do sweet perfumes?

I LOVE Bengal, but on my skin it is pretty sweet, but gorgeous. I can't help much other than that because I tend to like sweet.

Ultra sweet creamy orchid. On me this is really strong and lasts all day, but it is still sort of gentle. Really pretty in a very simple way.

    Fire Pig

I love Fire Pig. It is just ripe happy fruits on my skin, that stay sweet and juicy with a dash of flowers. It makes me smile everytime I wear it. It smells incredible in the summer too; it even outlasted Las Vegas' 100+ heat.

    The Snow Storm

Winter aconite, balsam fir, cedar leaf, and white mint. This smells like walking through the mountains on a sunny day when the snow is begining to melt slightly. It smells very fresh and crisp. It is very green, but gentle not too sharp. It really smells cold and faintly sweet.

    Red Lantern

This is the 07' version (I think) I tend to amp carmel, so for the first couple of hours this is just super sweet slightly smoky carmel. Many hours later though the smoke comes out a bit more and it becomes a nice smokey, spicy, sweet carmel. It kind of reminds me of expensive pipe tobacco, but far more sweet.

    Haloes

Beautiful. This is creamy, sweet and almost musky. It is very rich and just incredible. A gorgeous woodsy vanilla. It vaguely reminds me of Vanilla musk, which I love and wore for many years before discovering bpal, but much better. This is the scent that I have been searching for since finding bpal last year.

    Fur Scents

Ivanushka for sure. I thought the recent Hunter Moon had a sort of furry quality too. Could just be me though. Good luck!

    Black Lace

While this is wet on my skin it is kind of scary because the tobacco and cognac are so strong; sort of like being surrounded by a bunch of rich drunks in a fancy Vegas bar. This odd phase lasts quite a while, but once it dries and mellows some (after about an hour or so) it is lovely. A really dark musky, slightly sweet, spicy scent. Still a bit strong, but very beautiful.

    Morocco

This is so beautiful. It is a very gentle, creamy, sweet, spicy floral. It is really rich, but not super heavy. Gorgeous!!!

    Black Opal

This smells cold to me. It has a sort of mineral quality to me; like standing in a damp cave full of tiny vanilla flowers. It's very unique and lovely. It lasts forever too.

    Bengal

I get mostly a creamy spice from this. The clove stands out just a bit I think, but it is a sweet and gorgeous musky clove with a hint of cinnamon. Beautiful. It does sort of remind me of chai and it has the same comforting, relaxing effect that I get from chai too. It is somewhat strong, but gentle and not overwhelming. Also, those with sensitive skin may want to be cautious, I can't use this on damp/fresh out of the shower skin because it does burn, to the point of red welts (it is the only oil so far to give me a reaction). This only happens to me on damp skin though, I have no reaction to it at all on dry skin.

    Diwali

This is really lovely, but odd. It starts out this coconutty fruit with a little bit of woods, but as it dries I'm getting a very sweet sort of floral. It is really strong for a little while (almost too strong), then it mellows into a nutty, sweet, kind of creamy floral with a little bit of wood. Really unexpected, but pretty.

    El Dia de los Reyes

This is so yummy I want to lick my wrist. It really smells delicious. It starts off very sugary coffee with just a hint of cocoa and spice. As it dries it mellows to a slightly spicy sugar with a touch of coffee and cocoa. It does threaten to go a bit plastic-y, but thankfully never really does. Overall, really nice.

    The Perilous Parlor

The pear in this is super sweet on me, thankfully the vanilla is there to calm it down a bit. It dries to a creamy sweet pear, almost like pie. It is delicious.

    The Forbidding Foyer

I got almost pure mahogany from this one. I did get a touch of cognac while it was wet, but once it dried it was gentle, almost dusty mahogany.

This is just fantastic. Lemon is really iffy on me, but here the vanilla makes it creamy and light rather than sharp. It is sweet, but the musk keeps it from going too sweet. I can smell the tea, but just barely, almost as though it is grounding everything else together. It lasts all day too, hours later I could still smell it.

    Velvet

The first time that I tried this it was aged and it was a deep, warm, chocolatey sandalwood on me. I then tried it fresh and got a bit more of the cocoa and a much more gentle sandalwood; I still don't really get any vanilla from it though. It is like a woodsy chocolate. Very pretty. I'm still not sure which I like better fresh or aged, but either way I love this one!
