    Lavender Lace

I waited a couple of days for it to settle in the mail. So here are my thoughts. Wet down lots of dried lavender with an oily golden tobacco (I generally don't like tobacco, but here its seeming okay - its almost like a liquor maybe that is the cognac in play). The lavender melts into it and you get some light smoke and creaminess on dry with a kind of bitterness underlying and a whiff of the cognac at the end. Definitely huffable stage. Later dry down for me has almost a medicinal golden caramel element to it. I want to say I equate it with dry forest floor which makes no sense but that's where I'm at. The lavender integrates and I'm not sure I'd pull it out if I didn't know what it was ending up with a cologne-y light scent which I rather like with underlying vanilla. This bottle isn't going anywhere.

    Emerald Lace

I've got to say the reviews above are really spot on. It's only 2 days out of the mailbox but it's already changed significantly. The first sniff was close to irish-springy - a green cologne with a yellow lacey note which I think is the tobacco+lace. Now it's much more of the HM Cemetery green with a hint of soap and the prominent lace note. Very fresh. Staying power is good but for me the dry down is a sweet tobacco lace. I'm not a big tobacco fan so the dry down is not winning me over. Setting it aside and will try again in a few weeks.

    Pink Snowballs

Caveat - this is fresh out of the mail. I've not sniffed it before I don't have Historical comparison. its like pink vanilla liquor - but delicate and not too sweet. like very pale vanilla cherry cognac maybe? I get only a faint hint of rose - but its really integrated with the vanilla I would never pull it out of this as a note unless you told me it was there. I guess that's the pink element.

    Blackcurrant Sufganiyot

Caveat this is fresh out of the mail: First sniff was very strong. I don't have Straw Suf. Just Rasp from last year. This is fruitier I think. Wet down it's really jammy like sniffing jam. Wet its turning almost floral jam, more subtle and darker than Rasp. almost has a tart crust element at its edge.
