    Plastic Rats

As a swede, this is the most drinkable bpal I have ever tried. No gourmand can compare. This is the most delicious sticky sweet black liquorice imaginable. It's basically a concentrate of a bottle of Koskenkorva Salmiakki lol. BUT it totally has the popular combination of violet, no amber or black pepper, it's violet. It's impossible to miss as a Scandinavian, because its such a common flavour to combine with black liquorice. I'm so happy, I smell so good!! It's gonna be the perfect party scent, such a nice conversation starter. Tack så jättemycket för den här parfymen ❤️ 🥺

    Polyester Spiderweb

I got this as a frottle from the lab! A very pleasant surprise. I can't wear bpal directly on my skin, cuz preggie, and therefore I can't pick out notes as well. But here we go, with it applied in my hair. Polyester Spiderweb starts out with some plasticy scent. Like when you get some plastic components pre-packed in a little plastic bag, and you break it open and get some fumes from the parts/factory air. But then it transforms to a white floral, fresh but elegant(without leaning towards fabric softener or soap). And settles with some soft warm unidentified base notes, like white flowers on a summers evening. Somehow the plasticy thing follows all the way, but subtle, and keeps it unique and interesting. This could mellow out in a boring floral standard perfume, but it does not. It's clean, simple and still has a little tiny quirk. A very balanced perfume. Good throw, long lasting. I would probably not recommend this to anyone, but I'm totally keeping it.

    Golden Priapus

My heart is crushed. Golden Priapus used to be one of my big favorite GCs. A sweet golden syrupy pine sap with vanilla. Thick, goopy goodness. Truly divine. I'm sorry, this is some harsh words, but 2026's Golden Priapus is something close to sour kerosene or horse dung, with a hint of vanilla lingering in the background. It's sour, in a bad way. No sweetness at all. The combination of the kerosene dung and vanilla does not work, it just smells odd. Like the vanilla is trying to save something bad, but do not succeed. I can't see how this is wearable. And I'm worried that the almost rancid sourness only will grow by age...

    Fancy Pups

~First impression~ (Worn around the neck during an active morning) This started out like a sticky sweet almondy cherry, reminded me alot of Jailbait in the beginning. Definitely cherry, not papaya or mango. Cherry. And I swear there's a bit of orange peel in there, therefore Jailbait. But then, the leather and other masculine notes rose. The throw is alright, I always slather alot anyway. Drying, it's giving me a Hollywood Babylon vibe, like a younger cousin(not a sibling). A little more sophisticated, more male. Not as gourmand, not as syrupy. But still got that sweet cherry with a bunch of really nice heavy, cuddly base notes. There's like a orange peel/almond tartness, but it does not come from the cherry component, they are separate. Two hours after application, its pretty much unchanged. A sweet fruity cherry on top of a soft masculine bed. Has maybe gotten a little bit warmer, the kind of warmth you get from soft baking spices. You notice that there are alot of layers. This is a complex blend made with perfection. Very gender neutral. It's both playful, sexy AND sophisticated and elegant. Brings me joy and a smile in my heart. Feels young and confident. Despite being a cherry-scent for me, it's not giving me the color "red", it's more like a "warm orange" colored scent. Very summery! I also need to add: This smells expensive, and modern. There's something about the scent profile that I recognise from the style of today's more high-end commercial perfume, like in the $200-500 spectrum. I'm very, very happy with this one. Even if I missed out on the mango/papaya c':

    Cytherea

A very warm, but dry and powdery scent of fragile woods, yellow grass and dried flowers and herbs. I get some white pepper in it as well? It is very "sepia" in a melancholy and beautiful way, like an old photograph. I'm surprised that I enjoy it so much, because this is not close to my usual taste at all. I compared it with Ask the Nearest Hippie in search of the "kush"-note, but Cytherea is so dry that it made Ask the Nearest Hippie smell like Nutella :I I'm going to buy a bottle of this one.

    Dead Leaves and Sugared Cardamom

I'm so very disappointed about this one. I really love the dusty, cologney scent in Dead Leaves, Bourbon Vanilla and Myrrh from last year, but this one toootally lacks that. Dead Leaves and Sugared Cardamom has nothing leafy or dead at all according to my nose and skin. While wet, it's a sugary sweet cardamom. And after 30 minutes, it went pure watermelon-candy?? It's not disgusting or bad in any way, but it's very, very far from what I wanted when I bought the bottle.

    Slippery Poppy Tincture

On my skin, this is the sweetest red apple imaginable. I thought it would be a more heavy floral, but it's actually very fresh, and at the same time it's sticky sweet.

    Isaac, The Living Skeleton (2016)

Very dark tobacco, it's absolutely the main note in Isaac. But it's sweetened and all sexied-up with everything else. I'ts maskuline in a elegant "bad boy" way and totally gorgeous.

    Fulvous Snow

This one is fantastic. I've tried a little over one hundred BPAL blends right now and Fulvous Snow is my biggest favorite so far. I don't get any snow at all, it's more of an autumn-scent for me. Warm, golden creaminess in a gender neutral/manly way. It's calm and comforting, yet elegant and a bit sexy.

Samurai in a Graveyard by Night

This one is fantastic! I was afraid that it was going to be too dry and sour without anything more sweet in it, but it's wonderful. Dark, heavy and dry, a bit smokey. Just a tiny bit sweetness from the flowers, but it's enough. It contains a lot of my favorite notes and I'm so glad that they work so well together.

    Jailbait

    Innocence defiled. Sticky pink bubblegum and the thick, sweet scent of orange and cherry lollipops smeared over a breath of heady womanly perfume. OMG IT IS SASSAFRAS IN THIS ONE!! I've tried every BPAL with sassafras available on the homepage, and I totally adore Tombstone and SSS. I thought sassafras-bubblegum only were a Swedish thing, but it seems that I was wrong! Of course it's alot of other stuff in this one, it's very CANDY, but I'm so happy for the sassafras ;__;

    Calligraphy Practise

I swapped myself a decant of this, and argh... It's beautiful! Sugared wood in a soft, almost vanilla-creamy, way.

    Key Lime Pie

I'ts fantastic! I don't have any big experience of key lime pie, so for me this is the most wonderful lime-custard-foodie. It's a low-throw and it might need some aging, however.

    Pecan Pie

Okay, it's horrible. It smells like shoe cream, rose hip soup and gingerbread dough. Remembers me of an old man...

    A Shadow In The Elevator

This is NOT what I suspected, so fruity! But, I don't get any plum at all. I get quince, lot of quince. wat. It gets darker and incensy drying, but the quince is still there. And then, alot of flowers, according to my nose. wtf. There is no quince, there is no flowers. Skin and nose, get your shit together...
