  1. A clean, brisk beginning, I'm also getting a citrus twist here. The sandalwood grounds and wafts about with an incense vibe, while the amber gives the whole thing a feminine, perfumed edge. Wonderfully warm and sweet, I could see this as being very grounding and scent calming on those hectic days. I prefer my amber to be deeper and stickier, i'm also getting a chewable vitamin c note that hopefully fades or ages out. Will stash and try this again in a week or two.

  2. So much butter in the buttercream and strangely "nutty"? I've been looking for the perfect chai scent, but this is almost butterscotch on me, morphing into maple syrup cakes. Where's the chai spice or even the wood? It does remind me a teeny bit of my beloved "The Storyteller" with a dollop of rich cream, but pushed way into foodie territory. I can see alot of people loving this. Oh so cozy and cuddly, Cerberus'ish would be beautiful wafting up from a warm coat against skin in winter, making you hungry dream of creamy hot drinks and puddings. The "ish" in my delish :P

  3. Wow! Beautiful! this is addicting, can't stop smelling myself. I can see this becoming a signature sent for many BPAListas. Hauntingly gothic, sexy and feathery feminine, the opening is elegant and resinous. Once it settles, the notes dance together so magically, i'm seriously loving the wafts of champa incense swirling. I'm getting classic vibes from this, but its never powdery or overpowering. Perfect for nighttime romps of all kinds, date night, wanderings or drippy, black candle burning. Slather this to give yourself those exotic queenie priestess vibes, romantic and timeless like a midnight eclipse. So far i've declined a bottle upgrade. While I do admire its vampy, seductive elegant notes, panny is a little TOO heady for me. I will definitely keep sampling my decant before the lil's go away, just.in.case.

  4. Ok, i'm a ghost. Going to say it but this is so much like The Serpentine. If you loved that one, missed that one or simply adore epic cozy hugged blends, you need dis. NOW! Do not hesitate because it will be gone in a flash POOF~:violin:

  5. I really don't like being first, but yah, okay :nervous:
Reminds me of Lush Plum Rain at the start, at least the memory of Plum Rain cause I used up my body wash a couple years ago. Maybe its just the idea of it, dark purple and Ka-BLAM! up front. It's a fresh fruity plum with a slight tart tang. Big fruit rolling in straight out of the bottle. The lavender becomes more apparent after a few minutes, and its the sweet kind, not medicinal. This is a deep, dark lavender if that makes sense. Hence the name "indigo", like the deepest darkest lavender night sky. OM~
So here's the buildup.....once this gets on the skin and starts to warm up, it literally blossoms. The best part IS the dry-down. This is seriously divine smoky sandalwood. It's like sticking your nose in an empty wooden cigar box. Just a little chewy, rich golden smoke with a plump purple floaty floral sweetness. I LOVE DYI once its warmed up on the skin and the sandalwood deepens. I can see this being cuddly enough for bedtime, YES for yoga practice, and being a very sensual goddess experience wafting around you during downward dog. Namaste~

  6. Jumping in the water here. Can I mention that I love this series so much! Wasn't sure any of the scents would work for me, so I pretty much took a chance with this one and i'm glad I did. It's fabulous, leans a little bit on the masculine side, yet refined and elegant. The rum is beautifully balanced and not overpowering the wood notes. Soft yet strong, velvety and delicious, the patchouli is sweet and intoxicating, just luscious. I will cherish this little bottle and the way it makes me feel like a sexy, girl pirate ready to take on the peg leg blokes.

  7. Umph wow! Silvery, slinky amber. Literally PERFECT amber. This is the amber of EVERYONE's DREAMS. I have Slathered this all over my shoulder and OH GODS it is SO BEAUTIFUL! If only I could somehow turn up the volume because I have to "nose to the rose", it is sooooo soft. I would kill for this in a body oil. Something I could splash all over myself and glow like a luminescent jelly fish.

  8. BY JOVE, I do declare. This jewel just found a spot in my Jupiter/Jove box. It definitely smells like a beautiful golden king, lounging in snug pants and tilted crown. Perfectly transformative, this will be perfect for meditation purposes when I want to slow down and let wisdom flow in.

  9. Glowing, earthy stones covered in moss and ivy. Smelling it feels like a spicy hug (i'm not getting any cardamom others are mentioning and think it is the brown musk). It radiates warmth up front,  but sweet creamy notes keep it smooth. Its beautiful and yummy, deep and dark without being a gourmand. Warm, musky yet sweet and sexy, this is perfect for anyone who wants a fantastic and rich fragrance. I will be grabbing a bottle for my conscious, sub-conscious and super-conscious.

  10. This is deceptively simple, but an oh so effective duet. After trying countless ambers of various types, this just might be my most favorite the lab has ever released. The cardamom keeps it from being one dimensional, creating a cozy and enchanting cloud. Rich and sticky, I get a spicy bite of cardamom after application. In the drydown, the deep dark amber comes out. Its like sticking my into in a jar of golden amber resin and getting a bit on my nose.
This is so delish and reminds me a lot of making toffee. Don't get me wrong, this is not a gourmand to me, but I get that rich, warm and golden scent that makes my mouth water. I could see this swirling in an alchemist's kitchen, sultry smoke filling the air with intoxicating whiffs.

I want in on a summer art swap! Can you tag me or something? I juuuuuuuust missed the blind bottle one, having not looked for a swap to join until today. 😬

@Jenjin are you in for a summer art swap?

Just finished an art piece for a local show yesterday, so yah i'm down with an swap if someone else wants to organize. I've got a million other things I need to do though...but that's not a new thing.

  12. Super strong grapefruit blast going on. I am literally surrounded by a fruity citrus squirt. After several minutes it calms down and smooths into something very much like chewing a stick of juicy fruit or zebra stripe. This makes my mouth water. I'm usually not into fruity scents but this is really pretty, youthful and moodlifting. Will see if it sticks in my memory as something I need since I have no other grapefruit scents.

  13. Floating roses swirling into a white honey pot with a splash of sparkling wine. This honey is hands down PERFECT! Even honey perfume haters would slather this. Sweet without that cloying heaviness some honey fragrances have. It's bright and YUMMY. I am compelled to lick my arm (but I know better ) It's reminding me of sugary chewy cherry candies. I am LOVING this and have nothing else like it.  I was not planning on finding another win. At least i'll get free shipping when I place my bottle order.

  14. This cacao isn't the earthy kind, this is creamy white cacao if that even exists. Echoing what's already been said above, the rose is fresh and the most beautiful soft pink you can imagine, with petals dipped in sparkling sugar. Very pretty and girly, overall it is gorgeous, sweet and smooth with good throw. If you love Velvet Unicorn, Love and Loli.Goth you need this!

  15. This is reminding me of something, the ginger is just a little bit medicinal, like a salve or a foodie sauce. The notes are competing with each other at first, it takes a few minutes for things to calm down. The clove and ginger are giving me a foodie sort of spice, while the benzoin steps in and lends an aquatic, watery top note. It's got a dampness to it i'm not sure about. It's harder for me to write about the ones that confuse me.  It does give me flashbacks of being by the ocean, but i'm sitting in a waterside cafe eating sushi and downing sake, LOTS of sake.

  16. Starts off with a sweet, woody blast and quickly smooths down to the perfect spa scent. It transports me immediately to Ten Thousand Waves in New Mexico, plush robe on with cushy slippers and creaking wood planks all around. Waters trickling and steam rising. I can only imagine what a wooded spa would be like in Japan, but it would smell like this. Warm golden wood, heated amber, shaggy leathers and a burning fire. The green tea floats just above the surface. This is BEAUTIFUL and soothes my retched haunted soul.  One of the top Luper standouts for me and an immediate bottle upgrade.

  17. Whoa, I wasn't expecting this to be so buttery and gourmand, but duh,  all of the notes are edible besides the tuberose. Like a creamy, drippy sticky dessert topped with a tuberose bouquet. Syrupy, did I say SWEET, it is just a bit overwhelming  but I can never wear foodies. If you love sweet, sticky dessert gourmands like Miskatonic University, The Pancake Bell, Cockaigne, and King Cake,  YOU NEED THIS.

  18. The cacao opens slightly sweet, like smelling dry cocoa powder. After it dries few minutes, the sultry, earthy cacao appears along with the sweet, hypnotic Copal and sacred and a bit sweet and salted, Palo Santo. Like a sacred path to bliss, all the notes become a soothing ceremony. Deep belly breaths in, the scent of this is grounding, centering, even sensual. I could see using this during ritual for focus, heart opening and clearing.

  19. Creamy pale purple lotus swirled mallow, and when I say mallow, this is literally creamy like snarfing on candy marshmallows. I could wallow in a pan of marshmallows flavored like this. It is yummy and creamy yet not in an overly gourmand way. During the pandemic lockdown, I got hooked on this ice cream that tastes exactly like this. We called it "unicorn poop" so I kinda want to rename this :umm:cause if you were galavanting through the forest, and came upon piles of horned horsey poo, I could imagine it smelling this way. POOF! you're a fairy, i'm a fairy, We are all magical fairies!

  20. Gosh, I really kindof love this, it's retro and smells like very expensive incense. It's also giving me Cacharel vibes - dark girly gothy incense burn and Norma Kamali swimsuit summers spent tanning by the pool. I could totally see Nina Hagen, Siouxsie or even Robert Smith rocking this scent. It definitely has an edge to it and in the end, the jasmine might be too much for me, still testing. Perfect for date night when balmy out, taking a midnight walk, noses nuzzling on necks. Needs a fancy antique crystal bottle just to keep it in.

  21. This reminds me alot of Lady in Speckled Pink Kimono, but the Lychee is stomping those flowers. After 30 minutes, the Peony makes itself known and it's juicy and fresh. A fruity kind of floral, like chewy, peony candy with a splash of refreshing tea. This would be lovely on the beach or even an outdoor concert. I could see a bride wearing this at a sultry, summer wedding.
