A honeyed toasty bread blend that doesn't go powdery as honey can do. It legit smells like honey on toast!

What's this? A milk blend that doesn't go sour on my skin? Wow! I definitely get marshmallow and bits of milk, the lavender is there but very softened. It's nice, I'll use up the decant for nighttime. 😃

It's a decent powdery rose vanilla with an old fashioned vibe. Very SFW and I like it and will use it up but it is not something I will reach for often.

This started out very perfumey/cologney then dried down to a white, clean, and floral perfume with a bit of fresh moss to temper it. It's just okay on me, maybe a bit too bright and powdery on me but I can still get good use out of this. Edit: about a month later the lavender really is apparent now!

This starts out a very nice, bright lime blend and I really enjoy this stage the most. On drydown the lime sticks around a bit but layers over mostly bits of Dorian. I think I prefer Dorian but enjoy the lime journey this goes on and this is a definite keeper! Edit: actually, I think I like this better than Dorian!

I was hoping for a white floral version of Hope and Faith with a bit of sugar, but this is pretty much a fuggin decent white floral. I can use this up for sure and I think it will layer well with grassy, snowy, or vanilla blends. I like it! 😃

Starts out apple-y and dries down with more woody notes and something a bit almost dusty. It doesnte quite blend well on my skin but I'm glad I got to try it.

This pretty much turns Play-doh on me sadly and stays that way throughout its duration. Ahh well. edited later in the evening. This is a tip I discovered by accident before with other perfumes: if a scent doesn't work for you, try rinsing over it with a bit of water. This will sometimes change the scent to something more wearable. Many hours after application and after a brief rinse over the area this scent goes closer to what I was hoping: a clean fresh jasmine tea blend.

Guys, kids are getting books, blankets, and plushies, how sweet is that? I was hoping this would turn out reasonably similar to Wulric the Wolfman: chocolatey, warm, cozy, and comforting, and I'm happy that it did and like this a bit better. It doesn't have that bite of vetiver. Fresh from the lab It starts out chocolate and the paper/book note that reminds me of what I remember Cleo smelling like. The leather in this smells nothing like that new car smell, it just lends a nice base that keeps the chocolate notes from being too cloying. The wool sweater note I was afraid would turn dryer sheets but nope, just lends a nice warm and comforting vibe. I don't find this to be too candle-like, either, not overly waxy. Everything just blends seamlessly. I agree with the reviewer above, definitely unisex. I received a teen thriller set at a private school called Reconstructing Amelia, a book I never would have picked up but looks like a pretty juicy guilty pleasure.

This is for the 2007 version. I really should wear this more because it's a very nice ozoney aquatic that never goes screechy, just soft, clean, and wearable. It doesn't read floral to me, much more aquatic ozone, but perhaps the florals are what soften it. I can see this being very unisex and smell amazing on a man (not that florals can't be refined on a man, naturalich). Damn this is really good, fresh, and clean, it's good for all year round, imo. I think if you enjoy Lightning but want something less... jolting 🌩️ ... you may enjoy Archangel Winter.

Happy Wolf Moon, everyone! I am happy to announce this is a very nice sweet girlfriend to Lycan Lace, without the tobacco and earth notes. It for sure is reminiscent of a lace blend. It is sweet, light, fresh, floral, powdery, and feminine in a vintage sort of way, but this never ever smells like an old cologne, just charming and pretty. I could see Lucy's room smelling like this (minus the garlic strands, of course). The honey note is either nonexistent or very well blended, which is a good thing for me, so I will be lurking the Trading Post to see if this becomes a perfume oil. Overall very happy with this and thank you to the above reviewers. I get the lavender in the bottle thing too, but not once it is sprayed. I highly recommend this for fans of ...maybe Tattered Lace and Antique Lace, but it is still very different from them, lighter and more powdery floral. Maybe Lullaby fans. -sniffs- yes, closer to Lullaby with less lavender, maybe a dried rosey cousin, or a sister to Veil, but this really is its own scent.

This one is very soft, pretty, and light. It starts out with the light AL type of vanilla and a slight metallic note, then dries down to a slightly more floral cross between AL and Mouses Long and Sad Tale. It wears close to the skin. Very lovely. I have a dupe of Vanilla Lace that works even better but this will get lots and lots of wear. For fans of Antique Lace, Mouses Long and Sad Tale, Lullaby, and Moonshine and Mist.

Come Sister started out a very lovely white floral with nuances of a finishing powder. After 15 minutes it quickly did the same thing the iris in Lucy Westenra from OOTD1 did and went straight to a powdery floral Play-Doh. The individual notes are very different in each blend so I find it odd that Come Sister smells like it. I will see how it ages and try it as a locket scent because I really enjoy the florals in the opening. Edit: The drydown is much better now. The play-doh phase was much shorter lived and I really like this! It's a nice, unassuming, not going to punch you in the face white floral. Not my personal favorite, but I will still reach for this. 😃

Given the floral notes I would've thought this would work but it is more of an evergreen/ozoney type scent. It kind of does what goes wrong on me in Kumaru Kandam. There are wintery blends I love more, but it will work well for an atmos spray for sure.

Oh man, I wish I was getting what many of you are! The wine note goes sour on my skin and doesn't blend well at all! There is a moment during drydown where it does this peaceful fairy wine, meadowy pleasant florally thing, then turns total crackhouse, musty, and bitter. Ah well. It's also more red wine than effervescent. I'll stick with Bon Vivant.

Dude I'm just gonna say it. This smells like a musty old pine box and reminds me of my grandpa's trailer in the woods in a not a good way. It just kinda stays that way, too.

'08. Mighty fine lovely floral keeper with a reasonable bit of ozone, bordering on aquatic. A bit like Grief or Ode on Melancholy. No cedary pencil shavings, praise Whatever. Why did this just kinda sit in a box for 11 years? It doesn't beat the bombastic Thalassa aquatic floral but it's pretty dang pretty.

Not too shabs. The original Snake Oil goes a bit waxy on me and not in a good way, just a "meh, it's okay" way. I was hoping this would work a bit better. It definitely has the Snow White/Snow-Flakes note, but dries down more Snake Oil. So if you love the original SO and/or SW or SF definitely try it. I prefer, SF, Pink Snowballs, and Mega-sized Chocolate Bar SO but very happy to have tried this. 😃

It's pretty darn nice. Snow-Flakes/Snow White plus a decent chocolate note. If I didn't already have Snow-Flakes and Pink Snowballs I would consider hunting this down, but the decant will certainly do. For fans of Mega-sized Chocolate Snake Oil also.

This one's...interesting. I get a smutty red musk darkened by patchouli but it never really smells like patchouli, it just smells...smuttied I guess? Madame Moriarty works better imo, however I like it and will keep the imp around. Gender neutral.

Liz is beautiful and very nostalgic for me. The bottle has aged very well over the past decade and seems to have remained very much what I remember: a very lovely soft floral leather blend. There is something cold and metallic about it, like steel or copper in a way, sort of like Copper or Silver Phoenix, but the florals soften it up and make it wearable. Usually leather is a bit iffy, but this never goes in that new car smell territory, thank goodness. It's more moto jacket, I guess. This is very fitting of Liz, and also reminds me of a character in The Good Neighbors, part fae, part rock n' roll. Actually yeah, this is a very elf-punk appropriate blend and I really should be getting more use out of it.

Oo this is lovely. Sometimes a scent will kinda match a certain mood, in a specific place, with music and everything. Dancing Among The Tombs to me is sitting in a graveyard during a stormy summer evening in the South, your ripped up jeans getting muddied and grassy, hanging out with your friends, rocking out to Gish, Dirt, and Vulgar Display of Power. You're having a good time, you're buoyant and lighthearted, there's dandelions and other dewy wildflowers about, dirt, gravestones, you're taking silly photos of yourselves with "orbs" flying about and pigeons that scare the bejesus out of you, you may or may not have sprayed on some Gap Grass earlier. Your crush is a bit more dark and moody, brooding by himself, wearing Dorian over there and you're trying very, very hard to not act like a total asshat around him and probably failing miserably. Ultimately its a... lighthearted graveyard scent. Its Dancing Amongst The Tombs. I freakin love this and glad I snagged a full bottle!

VetchVesper's review on Lycan Lace pretty much sold me on this blend and I was lucky enough to snag a bottle of this on Ebay. I'm kind of shocked there were no other bidders, because holy smokes is this lovely. It starts off dusty rose and creamy vanilla paired with tobacco, very haunted and antique, but not overtly cologne or perfume-like. The drydown is dessicated and powdery rose with a soft tobacco/incense supporting it. I would not say it is a head shop incense in the slightest, much more like Eve or The Antikythera Mechanism in its ancientness, not resinous really, but just a nice powdery dry incense. Actually I highly recommend this if you are a fan of either of those two, or if you have tried Black Baccara Perfumes 1983 or Benefit Cosmetics Dr. Feelgood Mattifying Balm, they have a very similar scent profile. The dirt note grounds and darkens this without turning it too sharp. I thankfully don't really get the pine note. Overall this is a huge win and the way the powdery rose warms up on the skin with the incense, tobacco, and feral musk makes for a romantic and strangely comforting and snuggly skin scent, or if you are a sexy vampire flying down the freeway betching about Louis ("FOR CENTURIES!!") that is completely befitting, too.

Oh wow this is lovely. The vegetal and incense notes blended with the cleaner lace, and creamy cognac/vanilla/tobacco notes give it a haunted house vibe while still being perfectly wearable as a perfume/cologne. While the 2 original Black Laces went a bit dryer sheet on drydown, I found Dark Lace to be more reminiscent of Lycan Lace: dark, vampiric, and sexy, what you would wear to a King Diamond show, then snuggle up and watch Christopher Lee and Vincent Price flicks after. I would say Lycan Lace is a bit more powdery, desiccated rose lace with dirt notes (totally Lestat fixing his lacy cuffs as another review mentioned), Dark Lace is for sure well, darker, yet clean. God damn this is sexy. I love how unabashedly romantic Lycan Lace warms up on the skin, and how sophisticated and nostalgic Dark Lace is. Fans of Black Lace, Lycan Lace, Gothic Horror, Eve, Wulric The Wolfman, Midnight on The Midway, and/or The Antikythera Mechanism might enjoy this.

This is piney. A soft, delicate pine. It conjures images of soft, white snow and fabric, but it mostly smells like the pine needles with soap. Its delicate. Pine doesn't play nice on my skin, but I'll let it age and see. Snow Flakes works better for me. However, if you were a fan of Cloister Graveyard in The Snow or missed it, this one is similar from what I can remember, although I would have to try them on side by side to give you a full comparison.
