    Pomegranate III

So my overall experience with the pom grove was really disappointing. I was hoping this one would be stunning, but unfortunately it's the pom that ruins it. All of the other notes blend together seamlessly, and then the pom barges in and somehow makes it smell all soapy.

    Pomegranate IV

Not for me. I am a firm believer in never mixing chocolate, fruit and booze and this smells like a box of chocolates with liquer in the middle, topped with herbs.

    Pomegranate II

As advertised. Juicy, tart, bright, lemony, citrussy and very energizing. All the notes blend together beautifully. Very uplifting.

    Pomegranate V

Pomegranate, carnation, amber, cardamom, neroli, vetiver, black pepper, and opium tar. Soooo much better than Pom 1. Pom 5 is brillant. It's juicy, spicy, smoky and is slightly floral. The amber manages to soften the vetivar and opium tar, and the neroli gives it brighness.

    Pomegranate I

Wasn't too sure if I would like this, as it contains jasmine. However, Pom 1 is surprisingly yummy. It's juicy wet pomegranates with benzoin. The poet's jasmine is hardly detectable. Unfortuantely though I spoke too soon. As soon as it dries the delicious pom disappears and jasmine pushes through. And keeps pushing through to the point where I am huffing and gagging. *shivers* I couldn't wash it off faster.

    Halloween: San Francisco

Airy, aquatic, salty and green. It's simple, wispy, and pretty.

    Halloween: Brooklyn

Tart apples, pine and spruce. It's kinda medicinal, very green, yet extremely faint. It's also very cool, almost minty. I wish it would last longer though. As soon as it dries, it's literally vanished.

    Calaveras

Caleveras is a funny scent. The vanilla pods and cocoa give it a foody vibe, yet the spices, smoke and incense manage to work really well alongside the vanlla. I almost want to say this reminds me El Dia de Reyes for a moment. It's spicy, foody, yet full of incense and smoke.

    The Unsteady Governess

Simple and stunning. White tea, with perhaps some lemon, and violet. Like milo, this is very much Embalming fluid with some violet. I love how the lemon mingles with violet. It doesn't feel very autumnal though.

    Odd Portents

Geranium, the slightest hint of lavender and rose with heapings of amber incense and musk. It's dark, full of resin, yet the geranium and lavender manage to soften up the darkness. Just when you think it can't get any better, whiffs of blackcurrant emerge and adds a delicious purple fruit vibe throughout the blend.

    Chanukkiyah

I adore Chanukkiyah. Slighty sweet with overtones of oil and beeswax mingling together alognside fig and amber. The pomegranate used to be more prevalent, but with three years of aging, it has all but disappeared. It does add a hint of brightness upon drydown. Fig is the real star now, and with the beeswax and amber, it is kinda sweet, but not foody. In fact I never think of this as foody as I never did get the pastry note.

    La Befana

Hard sweet candies, charcoal and violets. The candy at one point threatens to become buttery, but as quickly as it appears, it disappears even faster. La Befana is smoky and dusty, but mainly it is sweet violet candies covered in soot.

    Monster Bait: Underbed

Spicy, cocoa coconut cake. I swear there is ginger inside, but it's really just the spiciest of cinnamons. I love how I can just barely detect the cocoa, usually chocolate scents overwhelm everything.

    Boo

Boo 2010 Just like Boo '09 - Vanilla sheets. Although this year's is a little more buttery. I kinda like '09 better.

    Misericordia

Dark resin-laden lavender with touches of black currant. This is definitely a lavender heavy blend which I adore, and it's medicinal and everything that I love about lavender is present. The resins, amber and black currant meld together to soften the lavender somewhat. They add a smokiness and darkness to an already somber perfume.

    Dawn: Maiden

Stunning. Soft, warm honeyed milk and rose. It's simple, kinda classic in feelinf and just so very pretty. Rose, milk and honey fans will love this.

    Major Andre's Tree Atmospheric Spray

Fresh greenery and tulips everywhere. It`s bright, extremely floral, and not what one would expect from a Halloween atmospeheric spray. I too wish there was a little more earthiness, crunch leaves and dirt.

    The Wild Swans At Coole

What...another airy aquatic. How will I ever decide between the two. Orris combines with ozone and water followed with soft florals. It's wispy, and light, rather cool and kinda ethereal.

    Ghoulish

Hmm, for once a cherry and almond blend I can stomach. I wish the coconut were stronger, but it's actually not that bad.

    The Madwoman

Sandalwood and light florals and the smell of fresh linens. White sandalwood is always dry and dusty and it is definitely the star in this blend. The linen and florals hover in the background, and to my nose give a little dimension to a basically straight up single note sandalwood perfume. I'll take 10 bottles please.

    The Unsavory Grave-Diggers

Wood, dirt and weeds. Earthy and a little airy. Pretty straightforward.

    Encroaching Madness

Old floral bouquets with snippets of wadded up minty bubble gum. Pass.

    The Creeping Mist

I absolutely adore this scent 10 minutes in. It's got my favorite dry, dusty orris & hints of citrus and spice that blend beautifully with the linden flower which makes everything crisp and clean. Then the Lotus flower walks in and basically spews over all the place and ruins it all.

    A Howl In The Darkness

Love. It has been a long time since an airy, minty, piney scent has captured my attention but A Howl In The Darkness has is all that and more. It's woody and lemony, spicy and furry, cold yet ridiculously comforting. The musk wraps me in warmth, yet the airy mint makes me feel like I can see my breathe in the dark.

    The Decrepit House

Mahogany and cypress are sweetened by musk and fragonia. It smells quite sweet, yet there is a smoky quality to it, thanks in part to the tobacco and patchouli. While the patchouli is earthy and blends in really well, it is neither overwhelming or typical. I am amazed that I kekeep huffing myself, and at this point unsure what I think of it. I don't hate it, but it's not instant love either.
