Trying out an aged version (cobalt bottle) for this review. ITB: Rather sharp smelling, to the point of being off-putting. I smell something that is a little dew-ish, some sharp, bitter herbs, and a little light floral on top. It reminds me of a rather manly scent at the moment. Wet: Wah, still strong. Very masculine herby scent, with what could be lily or something along those lines. I'm smelling a bit of the dew. I do hope this mellows down. Slightly soapy. Oh no! Dry: (+5 hours) It's very light at this point and much different. I'm smelling powder, but in a good way. There is a very faint hint of flowers like rose and a bit of carnation - not so much lily now. Much more of a wearable scent after it's been on for a while.

Bittersweet Mexican cocoa with rum, red wine, and a scent redolent of sacrificial blood. In the Imp: Sweet cocoa followed by spicy chilly (rum?) and just a bit of raisin. Wet: A bit more floral on my skin. I still smell the cocoa mainly, but I get an odd whiff of green notes. Dry: After 12 hours, I smell a bit of boosy chocolate. It's an interesting scent.

almond with star jasmine, oakmoss, red sandalwood and Egyptian musk. In the imp: I can smell the incense / musk rather strongly, but it seems a little oddly sour with the addition of the jasmine. Wet: Wow, it's very strong in terms of incense and musk. I really can't smell anything else. Drying: I get a little sweetness from the almond, my it's almost completely incense-y on me. I'll need to see how this wears hours out. After 13 hours of wear, it is a tad sweeter (almond), but still lots of incense.

On me, it smells like a combination of fake strawberry scent and a little cat pee as soon as I smell it in the imp or put it on. Dry: I get slightly grape-y bathroom freshener. This scent is not for me.

ITB: Frankincense and lily of the valley. Wet: It smells like floral baby oil. The lily of the valley is coming through well, as well as the neroli. I get an ever-so-faint scent of beeswax for some reason. Dry: Very light powdery floral - very close to skin. Nicely feminine and not too overpowering.

ITB: Baby oil and lilacs. I'm not sure what combinations are giving me baby oil, but it's the first thing I smell. Wet: Lilac, musk, cedar, with just a hint of neroli and herbs. It still smells a little bit like baby oil, but the floral scents are now dominant. I'm thankful the ozone isn't turning to cat pee on me. Dry: Very floral. I get lilac with neroli and some herbs backing it up. Nice scent, but not amazing.

I get lots of lavender and citrus, like a blend between orange and lemon. It smells fairly good, but on me, it ends up smelling very antiseptic, like something you'd smell in a hospital.

ITB: Powdery rose, just a hint of coconut and frangipani. Wet: Rose, frankincense and sandalwood, other non-rose florals. Floral, but very pretty. Dry: Softly floral with a hint of coconut and other warmness I can't describe. Very pretty.

ITI: I smell some pear and coconut, but it's the fake tanning type of coconut (of which I'm not a fan). There is a little incense tempering the sweetness. Wet: Still more of the same, but I'm getting hints of fake strawberry scent for some reason. Dry (+4 hours): I get fake coconut and strawberry, like some tropical car air freshener. Swap pile it is.

ITB: I get sweet bourbon, some light flowery notes, and a little rum rounding it out. This is my first boozy scent and I'm interested in how this will change on my wrist, although I wouldn't mind if it stays the same as ITB. Wet. Sweet flowers, bay rum, and a bit of a green scent very faintly behind it all. IT's a little like spice drops sitting next to a heady vase of flowers. Dry: The bourbon has come back to the forefront, but is topped by the magnolia and a bit of moss and dirt. IT's a little strong, but the last time I tried it, it only got better the longer I wore it.

I went back for this one at the store. I kept thinking about it, so I figured when it was still there, it was meant for me. ITB: Pine and juniper, with just the slightest bit of sweetness. Wet: More juniper than pine, and a bit of amber making the scent sweeter and warmer. Dry (4+ hours): It's very faint on the skin, but it smells like a slightly vanilla-y beeswax with a very faint juniper undertone. It's warm and lovely on my skin, which is surprising since amber and I usually do not agree. Score: 4.5/5

ITB:I get watermelon for some reason with a bit of lily making it a bit sharply floral under the fruity overtones. Wet: Still watermelon (think BubbleYum gum here), but I get a bit of mint with the lily. Dry: Slightly soapy lily, mint, eucalyptus, and just a very faint hint of fruitiness. I wish it had stayed like it was wet, but overall, it's an interesting scent that I'll keep around.

ITB: It smells like a spicy man's cologne. I get the smoke and musk, and a bit of the heliotrope and lemon. I smelled this a few times before trying it on because I wasn't sure if it would be me. Wet:Lemon, apricot, smoke, heliotrope, and vanilla bringing up the background. Much more feminine on my skin. Dry: Refreshingly lemon apricot + vanilla and coconut. The flower scents are in the background, making it a slightly more sophisticated scent. Lovely!

ITB: It smells like aged clove sitting in blackcurrant tea. It reminds me of a very soothing fall drink. Wet: On me, the clove is a bit brighter, but it is still aged, smelling a bit like that clove gum. The blackcurrant makes it sweeter, but it isn't overpowering the clove. Dry: Slightly sweetened clove. It's nice and simple.

ITB: Lovely pu-erh + wasabi at the same time. It is followed by white sage with frankincense to warm it up. I must admit, initially I was skeptical, but the scent has grown on me and is now what I wear to work 3 days out of 5. Wet: Minty sage with a dollop of wasabi underneath, but in just a few seconds, the cedar comes in, but the tea has slunk into the very background. It's a lovely green scent and reminds me a little bit of Lush's Jungle conditioner. Dry: Sage+ frankincense, wasabi spicing it up, ceder tempered by myrrh and a faint tea as secondary. Yum!

ITB: I get something like cherry ricola with a bit of orchid or jonquil behind it. On initial sniff, it is interesting, but the longer I sniff at it itb, the more it makes me dizzy (and not in a positive way). Wet: Yum - pear, gardenia, orchid and a bit of the oakmoss behind it. No cherries at all! This smells so different on my skin and I'm very happy about that! Dry: The gardenia and pear are about equal, and the orchid comes in a soft 3rd. I get just a touch of champaca laced with oakmoss, but I must be very close to get those notes. It's nice -sweetly dark and somewhat exotic.

ITB: The powder scent hits he first, then a bit of the honeyed lilies and oddly enough, something that smells like berries. Wet:Less powder (thank goodness), more flowery with a bit of the lilies, although the honey scent is in the background. I still get a bit of the fruitiness that I smelled ITB, but not nearly as much on my skin. Dry (+2 hours): I still smell powder, but it isn't enough for me to vote it off the island. I do smell honey, some lily, but the fruity scent is gone. It's a sweetly feminine scent, but not something I'd reach for too often.

ITB: This is really interesting in the bottle. I smell mandarin, tangerine, the candied fruit, and for some reason, I smell Japanese plum. I wonder if this is the blood red musk and pepper. I do like this in the bottle. It's really unusual. Wet: No more plum scent, but I get the red paper, candied red fruit, geranium, and mandarin with a touch of tangerine. I am, however, getting a slight soapy scent. Dry: A bit soapy on me, which makes me sad. I do smell a bit of mandarin and geranium, but I do hope that the soapiness wears down after a while. After several hours, it still smells like soap to me. Sadly, I may have to swap this one away.

I got this a a frimp with the order. Normally, I adore woody notes, but for some reason, the ice spoils it for me. ITB: it smells like men's cologne to me. I'm hesitant to say the lest. I can smell a hint of the cones, but I can't seem to get ice, just "cologne" Wet: Still that same cologne scent. I smell a bit of pine cone, but it screams male to me. Dry: Its morphed into a male/female cologne/perfume, and I smell a bit of powder and aquatic undertones. Not for me so far - not a hate, but not a like either. Dry: (+2 hours) a lot softer now, but it's soapy/perfume-y on me. Oh well, to the swap pile it is.

ITB: Wow, it's such a sweet delicate smell here. I get lychee, orange, and a couple very faint florals. Wet: I get similar, less floral, but with more pine. Drying: Very strong peony, plum blossom, a bit of kumquat flesh, peach behind that (thank goodness), and just a little narcissus. I'm not sure where the pine and the lychee went. Dry: Lots of lovely florals with mild citrus underneath. I like it

I think I may not be able to "do" aquatics. It smelled promising in the bottle, but on the skin, it smells like freshened airplane toiler water

I picked up a bottle of this, and on first sniff, I was a little hesitant. I smelled strong jasmine and a deeper floral and woodsy scent, but it wasn't soft at all. Wet: Overpowering jasmine, tonka, wood, and baby oil? It's better on than out in the bottle, but still really strong. Dry: slightly powdery jasmine (in a good way, like jasmine dusting powder), sweet rose, very light vanilla, and just a little darkness underneath remains. I like it very much dried down! 3.5/5

ITB: I also get the heavy resin-type smell, like benzoin, but I also get an exotic floral. I'm not sure what floral it is - it may be lily of the valley or something else. Wet: Very much of the same, but for some reason, I'm getting a soapy undertone on my skin. Dry: Still very incense-y, now with Dove or Ivory soap, a very light exotic floral, and perhaps some light cedar wood scent that is just starting to creep up. I do not love this, but it could be nice when I want a freshly-showered scent.
