Woah! This is sweet, musty old books with a cup of stale coffee. This scent is right on the money with it's description … "The scent of Irish coffee, dusty tomes and polished oakwood halls.". Alas, this scent went to stale coffee on my skin just after the dry down. It took about another hour for this blend to calm down so I could smell something besides the coffee. Ah well. This blend isn't quite my cup of tea, or coffee in this case.

In the vial: floral dominant, with a sweetness in the background. Wet on skin: As the scent warms, it blooms into a sugared floral. I can imagine a bouquet of fresh blooms dusted in crystallized sugar and sparkling in the sunlight. Drydown: The spices and vanilla come through much more on the dry down, and yes, these are definitely "delicate" spices. I normally amp spices, and here, it just smells like - well lets just say I do NOT smell like a spice shop. This is such a pretty scent, very girly with swirls of pink and purple, with a tough of glitter thrown in for good measure. Yes, I understand the comparisons to "commercial" perfumes, but I must say this is SO. MUCH. BETTER. If you're debating, just go and get it, you won't be disappointed.

In the imp: Sweet and slightly powdery Wet on skin: A faint impression of citrus comes forward, but without being citrus, if that makes any sense what so ever. Dry: A wonderful slightly sweet amber with a touch of something which is reminiscent of lemon. This is a wonderfully warm and beautiful scent which wears quite well through out the day. I can't believe it's taken me this long to give this one a try, but I'm so glad I did! I don't ever want to be without it.

I wish I were getting the same scents wafting from my skin as the description, but, alas, this wasn't meant to be. This blend is syrupy fruit with an undercurrent of, I'm not too sure how to put this, an off-putting darkness. I don't know if it's just my chemistry or what, but there is a "disturbing note" for lack of a better descriptive term - which takes about an hour or two to diminish. Only then, do I find this scent more appropriate and wearable. Unfortunately, I don't want to sit through two hours smelling myself and thinking something doesn't smell right. Ah well, glad I got a chance to try it out.

In the bottle: a very sweet cake scent, almost like Eat Me. Wet on skin: This blend warms up a bit with a trace of spice, which doesn't seem to be listed in the notes, but which comes out on my skin. Dry: Wow, this is a very sweet scent, more so than I was prepared for. I like sweets, but this is almost a little too "sweet foody", even for me. Halfling is a very sweet, almost syrupy scent which translates to warm slightly spiced oatmeal raisin cookies. Although nice, it's not something I'l be reaching for very often.

Wow, this smells like macerated fruit that is on the verge of fermentation - at least on my skin. When I tested this, there was an edge to it that just didn't sit well with me, almost like an underlying funk. I don't think my chemistry worked too well with this one.

In the vial: Strong! Vetiver, smoke and woods. Wet on skin: Hello vetiver, nice to meet you. Dry on skin: After the initial application, this scent blossoms into a wonderful fragrance of a crisp clear night, in the darkest depth of the woods, surrounded by apple trees and burning leaves. Oh my, it is glorious! Cider with the grounding force of the vetiver. The vetiver is earthy, and imo, slightly bitter, which mingles beautifully with the slightly sweet aspects of the cider/apple and clove notes. The leaves and smoke just add to the complexity of this scent. Let's just say that my somewhat picky hubby even loves this scent on me - and it smells great on him too! This is a bottle for sure.

In the vial: OMG! It's buttercream, vanilla a touch of spice and lemon. It reminds me a bit of the cup of frosting from Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls. So. Freaking. Good. Wet on skin: The pumpkin spice blooms, taking the sweet buttercream in a different direction. The lemon note has dissipated. Dry on skin: Cinnamon, like those craft store pinecones. Yah, thats what I'm smelling. I had my mom do a sniff test and said it's like a perfume one of her co-workers wears. Hummm, I wonder if she spends lots of time at JoAnn's? I would love to have had this smell like the description, but my cinnamon and clove amping skin refused. Edited because there is no "e" in JoAnne's.

Wow! This is one of the first ever weenies I've ever tried and I must say - I LOVE it! Theme is Yellow is a gentle raw pumpkin with a touch of sweetness. I can't really say this is raw pumpkin, like when you first cut it open, as the note is less green. But it's definitely not "pumpkin pie" either, as it lacks the spice. Like it's description, this is gently warmed pumpkin - like you cut it in half and put it in the oven for a bit. There is also a wonderful creamy sweetness lended to this scent by beeswax. But not just any beeswax, a soft, honey/vanilla type of beeswax. Yes, there is a slight backdrop of spice, but nothing that screams out on my skin (and I normally AMP spices like cinnamon or clove to high heaven). As a halloween scent, this is warm, soft and cuddly. It's like being enveloped in your favorite softest, most comforting blanket. In conclusion, if you like pumpkin or beeswax, this is the scent to try.

In the imp: Clean, slightly sweet scent. I can smell the peony and mixture of tea. Very nice! Wet on skin: The peony blooms and the tea is a great grounding note to the sweet, green floral. Dry on skin: This scent seems to have done a disappearing act. I can only detect a faint trace of the originally beautiful fragrance. I think my skin was thirsty - . This is a very pretty scent, great for spring or sumer as it's slightly crisp and just sweet enough. If my skin didn't drink this one into oblivion, I would definitely purchase a bottle.

In the imp: Sweet incense and fruit with a slightly smokey undercurrent. Wet on skin: The sweet fruit turns to something a little charred while the incense note remains quite lovely. Dry on skin: Sweet charred fruit in syrup, with a wafting herbal incense. The smokey and burnt tone does die down after a few hours. The remaining scent is slightly sweet and actually quite pretty, albeit faint. This is an interesting blend. It's fruity, but with a blackened undertone. It's not bad once it's settled down a bit, but the throw is minimal at that point.

In the vial: Sweet, slightly powdery smelling. Reminds me of O. Wet on skin: A warm, sweet floral. It seems there is a caramel scent lurking underneath everything, bringing a golden glow and somewhat saccharine feel to this blend. Dry: A warm, sweet skin scent with a touch of powdery dryness. I find this blend doesn't have a lot of throw - instead it stays really close to my skin. When I do get up close and personal with my wrist, this scent seems quite strong for a lighter wearing scent. There does seem to be something a little too sweet that's catching the back of my throat when I inhale. Meh.

Red amber and scorched musk with voluptuous carnation, charred vetiver, sensuous tonka, and orris. In the vial it's ... Hello Vetiver! On Skin: This blend was much more palatable to me in the early stages of application as there was more complexity between the notes. The vetiver was there which gave a nice grounding, while the musks and amber made the blend a little spiced and the tonka didn't entirely devour any one note. Alas, the tonk a seems to have beaten down everything in it's path and enveloped all the notes in a slightly sweet-spicy creaminess that defies descriptive terms. If anyone has tried Sybaris, this blend reminds me of that; probably because of the tonka in that blend as well. Prurience isn't my favorite, but then again there isn't anything in here that screams - wash me off! It's just a meh type of scent.

In the imp: Smells like slightly minty herbals mixed with a touch of powdery floral. Wet on skin: Oh, I smell mint and a woodsy, dusty element. I can't tell if it's frankincense or mahogany, or sandalwood ... but something tree like. Dry: I'm getting a very dusty fragrance of wood notes and dried rose petals. I miss the minty backing this blend had in it's initial application. Alas, this blend goes super dry and powdery on my skin. Every time I sniff my wrist, I wrinkle up my nose - it's so dusty on me I want to sneeze.

In the imp, this is a juicy, sweet magnolia blend with a hint of spice - it's just lovely. Alas on my skin, those beautiful and intriguing nuances disappear and this blend becomes SWEET MAGNOLIA. Oh yes, that caps lock is needed. This is sweet magnolia all the time. While it doesn't smell bad, it just seems to have lost something in translation, which I can only blame on my chemistry.

In the imp: A sweet resinous floral. Wet on skin: Wow! I'm smelling lily. It's very sweet, a little powdery with a touch of mustiness, like an old lady perfume. Dry: Very similar to the wet stage. Sweet lily and old lady. After more than an hour: I can now detect the faintest hint of red musk and caramel accord. Alas this is so faint, I can barely smell anything. I think my skin chemistry is playing a nasty little trick on me. Normally I amp musk and I can hardly detect it here. Honey and spices normally work for me too, but they're undetectable. Stupid skin chemistry.

On application, this is a very sweet floral, with a lot of throw. After an hour or so of wear this softens to a whisper of fragrance. I'm not actually smelling rose in this blend, but lily. Alas, is no lily listed in the scent description, so I am led to believe that what I'm smelling is the jasmine. The jasmine isn't too bad once it is settled on my skin. Unfortunately, this has an "old lady" scent at first which I find ... not pleasant. Oh well, the jasmine toward the end of the wear was quite lovely, though fleeting.

In the imp: Sharp incense with some type of florals? Wet on skin: The sharp incense opens up a little, revealing a slightly bitter component. Dry on skin: The bitterness dissipates somewhat, but this scent still has a sharp quality. Although, if I try really hard, I think I can pick up the hazelnut in the background. I think this is why the bitterness has subsided, because the hazelnut tempers it somewhat. I don't think my skin chemistry is doing this blend any favors. What I'm left smelling is a bitter incense with barely a wisp of nutty sweetness, along with an unsettling funk. Alas, this is a no go for me.

In the imp: Fresh floral, mostly rose, with light fruit notes. Wet on skin: Oh, the rose is beautiful! It's a sugared rose, with refreshing ... is that watermelon? Well, no, it's not watermelon (I sneaked a peak at the notes). I think the fruit is blended just so, that all my feeble mind can surmise is watermelon. Dry on skin: Freshly sugared flowers and light refreshing fruits. This is a wonderful scent, perfect for spring or summer. It does remind me a little of Love, but without the whipped cream portion. I think this scent falls in line with Les Bijoux, Rose Cross and Love. These all have a similar feel in that they're floral, but without being overwhelming and fruity, without being cloying. So if you like fruity florals, you'll enjoy Titania.

Got this as a frimp from the lab. In the imp: Hello Dragon's Blood! But there is something else lurking the the background ... hummm, what could that be? Is that vetiver? Wet on skin: Dragons Blood, with a wetness underneath. The Indonesian Patchouli is coming to the front, and the vetiver is lending a nice grounding smokiness to this blend. Dry on skin: Dragon's Blood, with a hint of spiciness (cinnamon), wrapped up in a smoky, musky background. I like Dragon's Blood, and tend to amp it, but this blend is just a little too masculine on my skin. I think this would smell great on my hubby - if I could only get him to wear it -

Got this as a frimp from the lab. I was excited to try this because I totally thought this would work with my skin, but alas, it didn't play nicely in the sand box. At first, this blend went on as earthy dampness. Then the leather comes thru. Unfortunately, this leather isn't warm and sweet, like Rogue; it is sharp and dusty. There is also a background of wood, probably the balsam, but it's more like pencil shavings While others have noted a red musk within this blend, I cannot for the life of me detect any such fragrance; and I normally amp red musk to high heaven (in a good way). In fact, I am actually getting a more vetiver smelling note (although it isn't listed in the fragrance profile). Stupid skin chemistry.

The pinnacle of wealth, luxury, self-indulgent pleasure, voluptuousness and sensuality. Bright violet with sweet clove, Mediterranean incense notes and tonka bean. My initial experience with Sybaris: Clear blue waves crash lazily on the mediterranean shore of Crete. Lying on the beach relaxing on my lounge chair, shaded by my oversized umbrella from the sweltering rays of sun, my attention is with a wonderfully bad romance novel. I've my tropical drink, which screams "obviously tourist" resting on the side table, complete with colorful paper umbrella. Little beads of condensation ripple down the smooth glass. I take a sip of the sweet liquid, relishing the coolness of the ice on my heated lips. Only now do I realize that a large man is walking toward me. He is about six foot, dark skin, mounds of inky colored, wavy tresses. His shirt is unbuttoned down to mid-chest and strands of gold chains are woven between his dark chest hair. He speaks to me, but I am unable to comprehend what he is saying as his cologne is so distracting. Cloying. Suffocating. Something is sticking to the back of my throat when I try to reach up for air, and I fan myself lightly with my book, trying in vain to bring precious oxygen into my deprived lungs. He smiles and walks back to where he came from. I am left befuddled and curious as to what he wanted and yet relieved that I could now breath, the strangling haze having followed it's master for the moment. After resisting the urge to toss Sybaris into my frimp pile, I do another test. This time I find Sybaris intriguing, not at all cloying or strangling, like before. He's a tall glass of violet iced tea, with a hint of warm spices. There is still something a little tropical lurking under the surface, but nothing overpowering, or distracting. Perhaps tropical is more of a feeling than of a specific scent, brought about by the "warm spices" and tonka bean. I can't believe how much this blend has changed since I last tried it, little less a month or two ago. Sybaris went from being too pungent and suffocating, to being refreshing, yet warm. Glad I retested this. I think I'll keep my little imp and give him another go sometime.

In the Imp: A deep aquatic scent with salty ocean water, seaweed and an unknown darkness. Seriously, you can smell the darkness in this blend - it's a little creepy. Wet on skin: Woah! I move my arm around and all I can smell is an overwhelming and nausea inducing, very salty cologne. I want to wash this off, but want to get to the dry down. Dry on skin: After a few hours, this settles into a slightly salty Axe body spray. It doesn't really smell horrible on me, but it's not that great either. Then again, The Deep Ones smelled nearly the same way too (except more soapy), so this may just be my body chemistry and my own olfactory experience. Alas, I'm afraid aquatics may just not work on me

In the imp: Slightly green and medicinal smelling Wet: The initial greenness gives way to a warm, slightly powdery honey. Dry: Very much like the wet stage, except a little more soft and rounded. I was unsure if I'd even like this as it smelled quite medicinal in the vial. But after application, this is just amazing! It's sweet honey with a backbone of greenery and incense. The greenery and incense combo, at least on my skin, gives this blend an almost masculine scent, which leans more toward a high end cologne. You'd think that this would be off putting, but it just adds a wonderful androgynous aspect to the sticky sweet honey. I also find this combination of greenery, incense/cologne keeps the honey from becoming too saccharine. Love it!

In the imp: Smells like berries mixed with green herbs, freshly picked from the garden. Wet on skin: Sweet berries enveloped in wisps of sage. Lovely Dry on skin: Very similar to the wet stage, except the dark musk is starting to bloom and come forward, which lends a nice complexity to this blend. While I really do love this scent, I find that the throw is minimal and very short lived. Within the span of two hours, I can't smell anything That being said, I really like this scent, I find it's perfectly balanced - sweet, but not cloying. Girly, but not juvenile. If you like musk and or berries, you should love this one.
