Proud owner of #30/300 Out of the bottle this is definitely medicinal smelling. It was a little sharp for me. On, it really reminded me of Hemlock and Wolfsbane. That green, herby quality. But Le Fee is definitely a little more complex. As it dried the greenery started to settle down into a fuzzy, powdery covering over vanilla. And dry, this is a green version of Antique Lace. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that! My first impression as it was nice, but I didn't think I needed a 10mL, but the progression of it really is beautiful and I'm so glad I have it now.

Wow the honeydew packs a punch in and outside of the bottle! Thankfully is lays back a little bit on. Overall, fee smells a little like melony baby powder. I get vanilla immediately after application. After a minute the peach and carnation poke their heads out. It smells even better close to the wrist. Wafting, it's still very melony. Now I know what it reminds me of!! Antique Lace with melon!

I had a huge review typed out and then I hit my back button...doh! So here's my simple version: A less floraly and bitter, more creamy version of Pink Moon. The pear is doing a lovely job of keeping the scent juicy, subtle and delicious! This is definitely pink and really does smell like cottom candy sugar mix.

Yum! Wet, it definitely has a piney aspect to it. On deeper sniff it is simply really rich, fresh resins. When I was in high school I had some frankincence and myrrh in a bowl in my room and this smells just like that. It is amazingly soft and delicate for incense. I also get the cedary note, but it could be sandalwood. Beth's sandalwood often disguises itself as cedar on my skin. This has been calling to me for a while. I didn't originally order it, but I'm glad I snagged a bottle and went with my intuition.

Sounds like you'd be better with the lighter musks, like white musk. I would try experitmenting. A lot of people discount musks automatically. I, however, really like them and think they add a lot of depth to a fragrance. Light one are always easier to get accustomed to. Try something like antique lace.

Well, this is totally hairspray, gin and tonic and a little tobacco when wet. As it begins to dry I start to get this powdery violet feel to it, with some other florals floating around in the background. This phase fades quickly. I'm left with...tropical wine coolers! Those old Bartles & James I used to drink as a kid (I have a very nice mom), or maybe even a little bit like Boone's Farm Wild Island. The drydown is definitely the best. I am glad I got this since it can replace my need for the bubbly Shattered. Mind you, it isn't the same, but has the same bubbly quality. Awesome! So different and refreshing! ETA: I officially love Stardust...that is all.

Birthday Cake by Skindazzles! Yup, that's exactly what this smells like. In the bottle I definitely get the cheesecake vibe, but it once it hits my skin, it's all cupcakes. I don't get that vinegar tinge others did, which is good. I also think of this as a stronger, less fried version of Midway.

This starts off really lemony. But if you take a deeper breath, close to the skin, there's a definite papery, gauzey scent...very much how I would expect papyrus to smell like. Beneath that is a layer of really dry, white wood with a teak-ish scent to it. I love everything about this expect the lemon part. Fortunately, it does mellow out after about 20-30 mins of wear and I'm left with a tea scent with whiffs of dry wood and even a little musky oomph.

You know, the smell is dirt really agrees with my skin...who'da thunk? When I put this on I immediately thought of Queen of Clubs, one of my most beloved BPALs. It goes on like gritty dirt but as it starts to dry, it gets really sweet, almost floraly with a spongey, mossy backdrop. I really thought this one wasn't for me, but I wanted to sniff it for fun. Now I'm contemplating a bottle. It's not nearly as heavy or masculine as I thought it would be.

I immediately get that buttery popcorn smell from Shill. But when I put my nose to it, it turns into a really boozey, spiced pumpkin....like pumpkin eggnog. It smells EXACTLY like Bath & Body Work's pumpkin body butter.

Ok, I get something a bit different than everyone else On application I immediately smelled eucalyptus, followed by spearmint. There is definitely something mentholy in here because I get that Vick's Vapor Rub nose tingling when I lean in to smell. As it dried a slight lemoniness comes out. This could still be the eucalyptus. Then I start to get powdery lemony florals with orange peel. If I remember ylang ylang candle smell from my old job, it does sort of smell like that. I get no cinnamon. I think the spiciness is coming from the menthol and orange. Very interesting blend. I don't think I need a 10ml of it though.

When I first put this one on, I wasn't so sure. I have to be in the mood to like autumn scents and it was hot and humid at the time. I also thought it smelled a lot like Mabon. So, I put it away for a week or so. Well, today I brought it out and OH MY GOD! In a week's span it's aged into the most beautiful autumn fragrance from BPAL ever! It's spicey like cinnamon and other mulling spices. It's creamy. It's falling leaves. It's like heaven. I just can't believe how different my opinion of Harvest Moon is. I absolutely love this!!!

Try Hamadryad. It's autumny, cinnamony and creamy all at the same time.

Silk Road is a good one.

No, it doesn't have the spiciness Snake Oil does, but it has the same feel to me. I think a better comparison might be Chimera.

To me Haunted is like Snake Oil meets The Lion. I hate O and love Haunted.

Yes, in the bottle it smells like powdered rose. Fortunately, the rose doesn't really appear on my skin. I'm a bit tired of rose as of late Anyway. Beatrice starts off a bit sharp and biting. It's a very tangy floral when wet. I don't really like this stage because it verges on turning into a very strong soapy scent. Dry, it softens out a lot. I can now sort of see where the vanilla references are coming from. There is a soft, muted creaminess in the background. As for the florals, I sort of smell lily and rest are like golden blossoms. There is a bit of a spicey bite in there somewhere, but it's not coming from carnation. At this point it's a bit powdery. Ok, now I need to revise a bit: About 15 minutes of wear, the vanilla creaminess is gone and the tartness is back. It's rose. But, not the Love in the Asylum rose, it's closer to the Rose Red type, or like a little tea rose. It's a very fresh rose, with a backdrop of spicey perfume. I need to sit with this one a bit to decide whether I like it or not. Of all the recent florals that have been coming out, Beatrice is definitely the queen of the lot though.

DAMN, I love my Shill! I don't know what it is with me and popcorn. Buttered popcorn is my favorite flavor in Jelly Bellies This is sweet, toasted popcorn (kernel and all) with a nice coating of butter and a tad bit of salt. It can be a bit sweet sometimes, almost verging on kettle corn. When my boyfriend smelled it he said, "How can they make it smell just like the real thing? Now you can smell like you work at a movie theater." Haha, I told him it would be a room scent, but I kind of like wearing it, lol. I have to add: everytime I am in a happy content place at home I always have the urge to put on Shill. It just makes me even happier! It's not a leave the house perfume, but I love it because it always puts a smile on my face

Ulalume: aquatic and earthy!

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Crossroads is like Queen of Clubs to me...with a little more rosey floral thrown in.

This reminds me of home... Fresh pikake blooming on the bushes lining my back yard. Gardenia flowers in my neighbor's front yard. Fresh hawaiian ginger. It smells like a lot of the touristy perfume they sell...but Pele is, of course, purer and more true to the notes in the blend. I've never been a fan of pikake perfume, but pick them off the plant and they are like heaven! Same with gardenia. I like the way this smells but it's not me. I might keep it around to remind me of my childhood, but that's it.
