    Pumpkin Smash

um, i actually don't smell any pumpkin in there O_O I do smell soap, inscence and beeswax. Somebody smashed the pumpkin, and squirrels apparently ate all of the pumpkin and just left the smoldering candle in a small puddle of beer. On drydown there is a bit of beer scent that mixes with the beeswax. sorry, not for me.

    Pumpkin Cheesecake

ok wow this is exactly what i'd hoped it would be - a clean, sweet but not terribly sweet, totally pumpkin. Pumpkin queen without the spice, maybe the pumpkin is smaller and it's sitting next to a half-eaten slice of cream-cheese-chiffon cake. The cheesecake is not strong, it just adds a touch of fullness and creamyness and sweetness to the lovely pumpkin. The scent doesen't kit you like a ton of bricks or anything, but it has good staying power. perfection!

    Egg'd Mailbox

huh, well this is not the second coming of Eggnog i'm sad to say! But it's quite nice so nothing to complain about here. It's light and custard-y, but there is somethingspicy in there (someone previous to mentioned the possibility of it being orris - she might be on the right track) and something that might be floral (or at least smells like a touch of floral to my nose, like carnation sometimes smells when mixed with a foody scent). In fact, it's not overwhelmingly "foody", really curious and interesting and hard to describe.

    Sugar-Slathered Candied Apple

Much sweeter and caramel-ier than poisoned apple ... but far less of that "burnt caramel" scent than i get from Creepy. This scent in incredibly wearable and very much what it should be based on it's description, no morphin, no odd plastic components, just tart juicy apples with a touch of fresh caramel, perfectly balanced and blended. one of the winners.

    TP'd Trees

I think someone prior to me noted that pine, cypress and cotton blossm were the main notes ... and they pretty much are. It's sweeter and less pungent than some of the pine type scents like Slobbering Pine for example, this one is very pretty. winner!

    Marshmallow Poof

sugary plastic. Pretty much both in the bottle and on me, it's turning just way that Sugar Cookie did into something not foody at all and just sort of ... plastic. pink sugary plastic. Sorry, my least favorite of the bunch.

    Spiked Punch

Oh, one of my favorites! Strong booze and punch in the bottle but it quickly morphs into a much nicer low-hey boozy scent, much like Roadhouse. Only i guess it's Roadhouse in an orchard ;p Not terribly sweet and with some fruity subtlety.

    Mme. Moriarty, Misfortune Teller (2006)

Holy cow, it smells like Smut and Snake Oil had a baby! I'm smelling a sweet musk VERY nuch like Smut with a subtle and well behaved patchouli to spice things up a bit. I don't get any fruity plum either wet or dry, but it might just be masked by the lovely sweet musk that i love so much <3 I will be getting a bottle of this blend as soon as possible, WOW sexy.

    Poisoned Apple

Wet, it's super-duper apple. It's a sweet rather than tart apple i think, but with a bit of "bite". Later on you do get a bit of floral cutting into the apple but it's subtle and simple, nothing overpowering. the final drydown actually leaves you with that simple floral, a bit of sweetness and just the faintest hint of the apple scent that was so strong at first. odd little scent, but quite nice and perfectly apple-y ;p

    The Agony of Loss

French lavender, cedar, armoise, white sandalwood, awapuhi, and the smoke of burning love letters. Wet, it's REALLY citrus, and on it smells like this awapuhi shampoo from Paul Mitchell. I totally love it by the way, it's really clean and kind of a-sexual, the awapuhi is not your typical floral it's totally heavenly! there seem to be a few other things in the background there but i couldn't say what without sneaking a peek at the ingredients list ;p it's nicely complex though and absolutely gorgeous.

    Crypt Queen

it's going to be impossible to describe this lovely scent - it's so many things all at once, and so perfectly blended AND so morphy i'm not sure where to begin! Well, when it's wet, it is wonderfully fruity. Sugary sweet plum (yes, you can pick out the plum at first!) and berries, and i could have sworn something like very ripe tangerine). The rose is the most well behaved rose ever, this is NOT the rose in Zombi or Rose Red, this is very subtle it's like dusty rose off in the distance. it's also slightly woody, resinous and spicy. it gets more dusty and peppery (like mort qui dance), though it never quite loses all of it's floral or slight berry notes, they just seem, very far away. Despite the "far away-ness" this one lasts a long time. this one is worth the hype - get it if you can!

    La Mort Qui Danse

oooh, very unusual, and surprisingly pleasant. It's a creamy floral (with the floral actually not overwhelming at all), with pepper and spice. It's really interesting how all of the different scents "play" together so well since ginger and florals tend to go nuts on me i was pleased to smell them all behaving and blending so well. The ginger does not make it foody at all, it's actually a very urbane scents, but with a hit of wildness underneath.

    Garden Path With Chickens

This is a VERY grassy scent, very much like roadhouse without a hint of booze. Grass takes center stage and overshadows everything - on me, i smell a bit of cucumber and something herbal with the fresh greem grass scent (no cucumber listed though). Never during all it's phases do i get even a hint of roses or florals - my husband says he smells some florals but i totally don't until it's been on over an hour and by that time the scent is very very faint. Ok, having said all that, i really love this and think it would make an amazing soap for springtime.

    Frumious Bandersnatch

Smells like Dentine/redhots/Big Red chewing gum. Wet, it's all spicy hot cinnamon candy. The drydown is a bit more floral with this really interesting sort of spicyness (mmmm carnation!). More of the pepperyness comes out later and the plummyness is there throught but not strong at all (or the spicyness just takes over so you don't notice it as much).

    Lady MacBeth

Sugary-sweet wine and berries. Smells kind of like japanese grape and cherry candy during the wet stage O_O it stays really candy-sweet throught, but it does seem to deepen to a stronger berry scent. I don't smell any thyme, or if it's there it's very much in the background.

Spirit of the Komachi Cherry Tree

Pear!! and lovely florals, one of the best floral blends ever. I don't know what the heck lavender monofloral honey is but i want to be drenched in it oh it's sweet, but only slightly sweet (not foody at all or sugary) and the florals are heavenly. I don't smell the cherry blossom like i do in other cherry blossom scents - the other florals (especially lilac) are far in the forefront.

    The Lantern Ghost of Oiwa

oh wow, what an amazing scent! I'm not a big mint fan but this is a mint that i can wear (very well blended), with a certain sweetness to it, the wood grounding it - the tea comes out a bit on the drydown and i don't get much floral at all. Fans of Snowblind might want to give this one a shot - it's more complex but it's also a lot more interesting. Fantastic combination and truly unique. Plus, it might be a wearable mint for you non-minters out there!

The Fox-Woman Kuzunoha Leaving Her Child

weak tea & floral with jasmine dominating the floral. This is one of the stronger of the "japanese" themesd scents, and the florals in it are still relatively soft but definately stronger than in other blends. The jasmine is well blended but it's definately the dominant note. Didn't smell teak at all, must be hiding ;p

    Yemaya

comepletely and toally Honeydew! Fee-lovers take note, this one smells like Fee's older, brawnier sister. I also seem to smell some canataloupe and an added sweetness that i can't place, it's amost a candy sort of jolly-rancher scent mixed with a sort of sharp freshness. it's sweet and melony but somehow also bouyant and bubbly.

Fox Fires on New Year's Eve at the Garment Nettle Tree at Oji

*waaaaah* no aquatic here fo me I was hoping with all of these descriptions i would get an aquatic note but either it's too small in proportion or too well blended for me to even smell it. I do get mostly floral here with hint of greenery (not much, it's very subtle), and something does make me think if Night-time ... but i can't put my finger on it. It's almost something inscence-y, somehow you feel like you are catching a wiff of night-blooms in the distance. It's not a strong scent, but it is long lasting and stays pretty true throught.

    Midnight Kiss

I don't see cherry listed but there is a DEFINATE cherry note, especially when wet. In the middle there i'm totally loving the musk, sandalwood and patchouli. there is also a sweet note, as in vanilla but not foody, it might be something amping the sweetness in the sandalwood though. It goes off a bit later but winds up a mellow musk and sandalwood. this is definately a morpher - i think i'll like mine more in a scent locket than on my skin though since it loses some of it's other notes in time ...

    The Agony of Longing

VERY freesia/pear. Absolutely feminine and lovely without hitting you over the head with either fruits or florals. very delicate, almost has a Hawaiian feel to it. it might smell a bit soapy to some, it has sort of that mixture of scents going for it, but i think this is one of the winners from the Agony set

    Spanked

My least favorite of this set of inquisition scents. It smells all of leather and honestly i can't wear leather - there is also something sweet and almost smoke-y in there but i seem to smell nothing but leather. too masculine for me, so maybe on a guy. if i smelled any Patchouli and bourbon i'd love it, but as is it's just not my thing. Guess Jola doesn't like getting spanked

    Snow Angel

lemony tea ... with maybe some cream in it. It's a really soft scent though, not a ton of throw and not particularly aggressive. Pretty amgelic and delicate since the lemony bit it not sharp or tangy, it's more soft than i expected.

    Pumpkin V (2007)

ooooooooooh this is such a winner. This is the warmest, spiciest, most wonderful pumpkin yet. It's got a lovely slight sweetness to it that isn't too foody, but just enough to be yummy. it's almost like spiced yellow-cake batter with a slight wiff of carrot-cake in the distance. The ginger is well behaved, just gives and amazing warmth. wow this is perfectly blended and just comfor HEAVEN. must have a bottle for sure.
