    Black Pumpkin Floss

sweet, slightly buttery and licorice. When really wet i get sort of licorice pumpkin gigerbread from it but after application it mellows out. There is also something slightly sharp in there which might be the currant (sorry, hard to say! but it is sort of a sharp fruity scent but very blended so it's a bit hard to pick out of the sweetness which dominates). It's a little on the buttery side during dry-down. It starts out foody but becomes a lot less so when dry for some reason odd scent.

    Sangria Champagne

reminds me of Spiked Punch (from that long-ago halloween inquisition) w/ a gigngerale note! Very fizzy, fruity, boozy and very summery.

    Lindworm

dry grasses, marigold and something slightly feral in the leather ... on my the green goes slightly sweet late during drydown but for most of it's duration it is a perfect blending of grasses (much like the Lab's fallen leaves scent to my nose) and the leather is kind of wild and untamed - not overly powerful but not a "dirty" sort of leather it is almost pleasantly musky, it might be the greenery keeping it fresh. I don't really get smoke others are smelling, though that might be the slight sweetness i get? I like it. well balanced, very well blended and an unusual pairing of notes that work well together. I'm usually not a fan of leather at all but this is very nice.

    Halloween: Montreal

The top note, and the note that I get most when wet is candy (like jolly rancher candy), very similar to Pumpkin Princess (which is ALL candy to me). The other notes that are more evident when the perfume dries down and the candy dies off a bit is smoke and leaves and something like rain? The "rain" is not aquatic, it might be the "cold" note other people in the prior reviews talked about. I don't specifically get maple unless it is part of that candy top note. Definately get smoke towards the end, lovely! This is what you would get if it had rained a bit during the day and you went out in the evening while the leaves underfoot were still a little bit damp and you passed a bonfire that had been put out a while ago so just a few wisps of sweet smoke wafted on the chilly wind. then you huffed some jolly ranchers Honestly a very wearable and delightful scent.

    Cuélebre

Smells like jolly ranchers and cat fur. I know that sounds like a bad review but it isn't actually, i really like it! It does have a pronounced candy scent, like fruity jolly ranchers but also this kind of warm dry muskyness that probably comes from the Leather (which is not too strong and blended very well) that gives it a feral and wonderful sort of base. This was a definate winner for me and REALLY unusual and totally wearable.

    Meditation in Autumn

I'm really glad i'm not the only one that is not smelling what she expected I don't get a lot of wood, I get that cool ozone in there a lot though, it is a LOT lighter than i expected and NOT AT ALL like Twisted Oak Tree ... in fact I would say it is the flip-side of that scent, instead of heavy sweet woods this is light and breezy.

    The Perilous Parlor

This is the 2012 version that I'm trying and if anything i'd say this new blend has more of the pear note. The old version has a wee bit moure of a sourness to it and this version seems more up-front with the pear note and a soft, sumky sweetness. Very pleasant and unusual!

    Devil's Trumpet

I go back and forth trying to decide if this is a green floral or lush like oleander. starts out sory of subtle and light like in Amsterdam ... dries to something more romantic, tropical, evocative of warm evening breezes. One of the few scents i've tried that seems to get more intense as it dries, odd.

    Spanish Moss

A very dangerous sort of green scent. Not a close or clauterphobic green, more airy but also somehow dark? Has a hint of bitterness in the green, not at all sappy or fresh but more leafy and slightly citrusy. Very unusual and hard to define.

    Evening Stock

ok, in what might be the least helpful review ever ... it smells purple. It is a heavy, perfumey sort of floral - lush and full and opulent. It goes a little bit "old lady" on me and i prefer the fresher greener florals (this is heavy like lilly or red rose) and i'd say it was in the same family as jasmine in that it is kind of sexy. Very much an evening scent.

    The Bloody Banister

mmm, i would say slightly spicy wood. Not sure what the "spicy" note is, it reminds me a tiny bit of some of the book scents the lab has done and a tiny bit like a wee bit of India Ink overlaid with powdery dry wood. I don't smell any blood so people worrying this mihgt be a GORE scent need not worry at all, i smell old bookshelf and the ghostly wiff if spicy incense

    Mango-Infused Pumpkin Chai Latte

Fruity and spicy foody scent, I smell mostly pumpkin chai amd mango. More of a summery than autumnal perfume i think, very "warm" on drydown and getting less fruity and more spicy and gingey.

    Mischief

I get caramel, sugar, pumpkin, and something that reminds me of Egged Mailbox and TP's Trees from that long ago inquisition ... it's a morpher, definately sweet and foody at the wet stage (All caramel!) but suddenly a lot of that sugar and caramel goes away and I get that creamy custard and paper scent on drydown. Really cool scent and very wearable, don't be afraid of Mischief

    Third Charm

I love red musk, so i just had to have this and i was not dissappointed. The red musk here is not as strong as in Infernal Lover or Smut, it's more subdued and blended, perhaps "grounded" by woods, giving it a more smooth and elegantly sweet quality. I do not pick up much honey or floral here the wood and musk really dominates both the wet and drydown stages with the mellow patchouli bringing up the rear Verdict? Absolutely lovely, complex and delicious - a perfect harmony.

    Fizzy Jack O' Lantern

Effervescent gingerale w/ a wee pumpkiny sweetness but the sharp gingerale scent is present through drydown. Gets a bit warmer and creamier later and settles down to a soft scent without too much "throw" but retaining the fizz really nicely.

    Ghost House

No berries, all greenery and woods. It has a slightly cologne sort of edge to it with a ton of "green" scent that reminds me of fresh-cut stems in a florist's shop. Not a terribly complicated scent but blended very nicely.

    The Wretched Rose Window

It does smell like fancy soap when wet! when dry it smells like dried roses and something else that is dry, dusty and slightly sweet.

    Hot Buttered Rum

Whoever said butterscothch rum candy was totally spot on, this is HOLY BATMAN RUM! on me w/ a shot of spice and booze and god is it ever wonderful. Totally worth tracking down if you can find it (smells awful in the bottle IMHO, like medicine, but amazing on the skin)

Aunt Rosie's All-Purpose Cephalopod Bath Oil

Everyone saying coconut & ricemilk is right on ... but instead of apricot i smell something more like watermelon, lol. It is very refreshing and nice and very Hawaiian somehow.

    Zmey Gorynych

Green pine-y and a bit of leather when wet and then ever-so pleasantly sweet ... like a cold mountain-top w/ scrub herbs and wildflowers and a wiff if sweet inscence. I'll be honest, if i didn't know there was red musk in there i would NOT have picked it out at all, it's that subtle, and red musk tends to go (!!!!) on me - this musk feels more like that sweet pale note in RPG: Neutral rather than the red musk in anything else i've tried from BPAL. Verdict: i LOVE this ... it's a sweet, gentle scent though, not the monster i was expecting. Warm and wonderful and layered, not masculine or overly musky at all. I'm actually shocked, NOT what i was expecting, and in a good way!

    Neutral

yep, slightly sweet, ever so slightly floral musk ... perfect scent when you just want to smell SEXY without smelling of any particular specific thing? It kind of has crystaline floral overtones on the drydown and yes PERFECT for layering.

    Neil

I only get cherry in the bottle, on me it smell a little like Decadence at the wet stage, sweet almond extract, and a wee bit fruity ... then goes sweeter and fruitier (more of a citrus fruit like kiwi) as it dries. Very little throw on me and doesn't last long. I get more of the "jellybean"ness towards the end but it's quite faint and i have to sniff my wrist to get any of it.

    Countess Willie

mostly ginger and musk on me and that's totally fine, a few of the sweeter notes show up on the drydown. the SEXY scent of the season for sure, sex sex sex!!! and good spicy sex at that

    Mother Shub's Pfancy Pfefferneusse

at first i loved this scent, it was all caramel and cookie kind of goodness. Unfortunately it morphed. morphed into burned smelling cookie and really strong peppery something. would be great in a locket for me but i think it's a swapper.

    Scattered Gloom

spicy, woody resins. wow, sorry i couldn't add much to what others have said, resins are really powerful on me so that's all i smell, it packs quite a wallop!
