  1. I can see why To a wreath of snow, is so popular. This is like a comforting lavender scent cloud. I noticed that vanilla isn't in the notes but perhaps the ambergris is reading like a salty vanilla to my nose. There is also the subtle note of the tobacco flower which adds to the soft, ethereal quality of the scent. This is really lovely and could work as a sleep scent as well.

  2. Slug

On me I would describe this as a creamy, honeyed Amber scent. The amber is the strongest note on me, followed by the honey and a hint of butter. To me, this is in the same scent family as O, but I find that O has more honey and vanilla and Slug has a stronger Amber note.  I really enjoy this one, it's a warm, cozy scent.

  3. This is a very smoky amber scent on me, with some spice from the nutmeg. I brought this for the black rose, but I only get the tiniest hint of it behind the other notes. The  smoked amber note is very prominent on me, almost a single note with a little spicy nutmeg. The result is a deep, sultry scent. It kind of reminds me of a darker, and smokier Shalimar. This one has alot of throw on me and lasts a long time.

  4. This starts out very sweet and gourmand with the condensed milk and coconut. I thought it would stay this way but as it settles I can smell the linen and resin notes, the gourmand notes tend to fade a bit. It turns into a sweet,  milky linen scent mixed with the embalming resins. I can see the comparison made to White Rabbit - this is kind of like a sweeter, coconut version with resins. I have been wearing this one quite alot it is quite soft and sweetly clean smelling.

  5. On me I can pick out the  linen and dusty notes from Antique Lace with cool vanilla and hints of caramel and leather. I mostly get Antique Lace here but the caramel adds a sweetness and warmth which blends in really well. The leather adds some depth and complexity. The caramel and leather make nice additions that compliment the original

  6. I can see why Ghost milk is so popular. I get rich honey dust, cashmere and white chocolate. It's one of those scents where you have to keep sniffing your wrist, because it just smells so good. I initially wasn't sure about the goats milk because sometimes it goes sour on me, but I'm happy I took the chance on this one. No sour milk here. Just lovely honeyed cashmere and marshmallowy white chocolate.

  7. On me, I get a sweet black currant scent that blends with the frankincense. After it has dried down I get a few whiffs of a light jasmine note. It is very light and hides behind the black currant and frankincense. There is definitely something lunar and contemplative about this scent. It's like walking through a night garden. This is a scent I can imagine wearing in the evening. I like it, but after testing it twice it is very light on my skin and has a shorter wear time. I think that this could change with some aging though.

  8. When my weenie order arrived this is the first scent I tried and this one is most definitely a win for me.

On me this is creamy, white chocolate and glowing amber. The amber does give this a feel of warmth or being lit from within. I can also smell the green tea, it blends really well into the white chocolate and smells more like a creamy, green tea & white choc latte rather than a more astringent green  tea note. I'm relieved I don't get anything plasticky here.  I can see myself wearing this one alot.

  9. I get a lovely vanilla mint with hints of spun sugar and the white rose. I can smell the red currant when first applied but it seems to fade quite quickly and I don't seem to be able to pick out the frankincense. It's a pretty scent with a twist. I'm loving vanilla mint scents at the moment and finding them quite calming so I think I will wear this one often.

  10. This smells like Yule in a bottle! It starts out with the two berry notes and cotton candy but then dries down into a lovely vanilla mint with a hint of the strawberry cotton candy. Its very festive and smells so much like candy canes. Happy I was able to get a bottle before the yules came down.

  11.  Blue cotton candy moon is not the super sweet candy scent I was expecting. It is more grown up and lunar. I find that the cotton candy note lingers more towards the edges of the scent rather than front and centre. I get alot of the lunar, bluish musk that @VetchVesper described. I also get the blue cotton candy note ... there's times when I'm sure that this could have a little bit of blueberry hidden away in there. The cotton candy is not in your face or overly sweet. I think it adds a sugary softness to the musk. I can pick out a vague floral note as well but I couldn't pick out any individual floral notes I'm familiar with. I find that there is a perfumey base to this scent which must be the floral note.

This is very light blue and lunar in feel. It stays close to the skin. It dries down to be a pale, sugared blue musk scent on me.

  12. Sleeping cat is a warm golden cat, that has been sleeping in a pine forest.

I get warm, golden amber mixed with pine or balsam notes. This does have Christmas vibes to it. The amber note is warm and spiced, the pine note is not overwhelming but it is still present. I put this on before bed and to me it is relaxing and cozy.

  13. On me this starts out with a very strong Wool note, that fades into a softer, creamy silk scent. The cream note is one my favorite notes. I like the second stage of this one alot, in the first stage the wool comes on a bit strong and clean smelling for me but it does fade. When this dries down to the cream and silk notes it is lovely.

  14. I feel like my experience is a bit different to other reviewers because on me Frou Frou smells like sweet, musky vanilla Marshmallow mixed with the lace and silk notes. I really get no rose or Oakmoss. I ordered a decant of this one because I wasn't sure about the Oakmoss fougere, but it is either very well blended into the other notes or my skin must eat it up. To me this is in the same scent family as Traditional sheet ghost because it is Marshmallow and fabric notes but I find this one sweeter and not as clean smelling, this one is also more complex with the different fabric notes.

This one has alot of throw on me and lasts a long time.

  15. I've tested this a few times before writing a review because l agree with the others that there is alot going on here and it can be hard to pinpoint exact notes.

This does start out very green, with the grass and leaf notes. I then get the red currant and strawberry notes followed by the floral notes. It's hard to pick out the individual floral notes but I can smell the heather that I recognize from Glasgow and the lilac musk. I like this one. It's quite a fresh floral with the strawberry and red currant to sweeten it. I have worn this a few times and each time I'm sure it smells slightly different or perhaps my nose can pick out different notes. It's very pretty and summery.

  16. This one is a surprise win for me! When first applied I get a mix of violets and patchouli but after a few minutes the violet becomes a very subdued part of the scent. I get a very soft coconut scent mixed with sweet opium. It's gorgeous and not like anything I already have in my bpal collection. The violet is there in the background but I wouldn't describe this is a violet scent. It is very soft and pretty. The coconut mist is really lovely and the opium is not overpowering as it can be on me sometimes. I can't pick out the oakmoss or even the balsam at all,  but I think the white musk, ambergris and Orris are there adding to the overall soft haziness of the coconut and the violet. This is more of a skin hugging scent on me.

I would normally shy away from  coconut in scents because it can sometimes be fake smelling on me and Orris and patchouli can be hit or miss. But, I find the coconut here to be much softer, maybe because it's coconut mist.

I like this one very much, I'm happy I got a decant. Now I think I may need more than 1 bottle.

  17. On me this is a sweet, creamy floral. I have a similar experience to other reviewers that the Osmanthus leans towards being slightly peachy/Apricot with a soft, fuzzy quality. I don't get much of the bourbon vanilla but I can pick out the benzoin adding a sweet, resinous base.  This is very soft and dreamy, low throw but lasts a long time. I'll be interested to see if the vanilla becomes stronger with aging.

  18. On me this starts out with the oak leading the way, followed by the golden amber. I find the amber particularly lovely here, because it has a warmth to it which blends really well with the woodsy oak. The muguet is there on the edges of the scent adding a slightly perfumey quality.

This is a warm and woodsy scent with lily in the background. To me its one of those scents I'd want to wear on cooler autumn days. I'm really enjoying wearing this one.

  19. On me I get a fresh strawberry scent with a hint of vanilla and sugar. I also get pink floral notes, I can pick out the carnation and tulip notes and also the pink peony in the background. The Pink Moon from 2012 was one of my favorites, that one had white chocolate instead of strawberry. I think I like the strawberry version just as much, the strawberry note isn't too sweet or overpowering and blends really well with the other notes.

  20. For me, this starts out with a lush, realistic rose note. It has stems, leaves and all. I get some greenery here which blends with the rose. The peony is also there but it's more subtle and delicate on my skin. I feel that the rose is the more dominant note on me. I can also smell another subtle note here which must be the porcelain. It's really hard for me to describe but it adds something cool and smooth to the scent. My main scent impressions are of a smooth rose with the softness of peony, on cool porcelain and the slightest hint of some greenery. It really is the perfect representation in scent form of the artwork. It's very elegant and classy

  21. Warm golden musk and vanilla cream with a hint of lemon and mallowflower.  The vanilla becomes stronger over time. After a couple of hours of wear time I get a golden musk and amber swirled in vanilla cream.  It's a furry, warm scent that stays close to the skin.

  22. This starts out with the crisp white tea which is slightly citrusy with the yellow champa adding a fresh floral note. Champa is one of my favorite smells in real life and here I think it's quite realistic of the tropical flower and doesn't turn screechy or high pitched. The frankincense is also there in the background, adding to the brightness of the scent. The honey is light and airy, I don't think I've tried the sparkling honey note before and it's different to other honeys I've tried from the lab. The skin musk and honey add a really nice softness to the scent to round out the edges and add a touch of sweetness. I don't really get much amber or orris until the last stages of the scent. I wore this for about 6 hours and I could smell it the whole time but by around 4 hours the tea, floral notes and honey had mostly worn off and I was left with a more resinous base of frankincense and amber.

I find this quite a bright, sunny scent. To me the star is the crisp white tea combined with the bright floral note of the yellow champa. The honey and skin musk are really nice additions that sweeten the scent and make it kind of blend into your skin.
