This really doesn't smell like Glasgow - Glasgow smells of sour beer and stale cooking fat! This is far too pretty, very soft floral heather and almost creamy once it has dried but I don't pick up any blackberry which is a shame. It fades within the hour on me so it just doesn't have the staying power to use again.

Like everyone else I get a blast of chocolate and thyme to start, but on drydown I don't get woods I get the herbs, the Holy Basil in particular - which is good as that what what made me buy this one. There's still a back note of the cacao and a slight citrus note which I think is a muted ginger. Quite lovely.

The amaretto hit when wet is intense, but I can also sense those cherries lurking in the background. It smoothes out when dry to the most delicious sultry musk that catapults it immediately into my top 5 scents, it's gorgeous and I feel gorgeous wearing it.

This is so beautiful ... in the bottle it's all juicy pear, if blindfolded I'd probably try to drink this! Wet I get the same wonderful juiciness but with a back note of pear drop acidity and the cream reminds me of 'Carnation' tinned cream that I had as a child on my tinned pears. I cannot keep my nose away from my wrist as it dries, it turns into a wonderful smooth balance between fresh pear and proper cream. Why, oh why, does it fade so quickly?

Wet and just on I get a bitter gingerbread overpowering everything else, which I really like. Sadly on me it dries down to something that reminds me of standing in a Christmas gift shop surrounded by varied holiday candles and the gingery smell has completely vanished

Morocco and Whitechapel are wonderful as others have said, but I also love Jezirat al Tennyn (The Dragon’s Isle: smoke and fire, earth and wind. The rage of the elements blasting over a primordial paradise)as it has a wonderful smoky feel to it, it's complex and spicy and with a tiny fresher note. -
I'd suggest No. 93 Engine from Steamworks - although I'm female and wear it, I think of it as quite masculine. I'm currently trying to decide whether it or The Antikythera Mechanism will be my next bottle buy.

DXXX/530 decant from salls In the imp All I get is overwhelming sweet fruityness Wet Strong juicyfruit bubblegum with maybe a faint hint of the spicer sort of eastern florals Dry The spicy florals come through a bit more, but still over sweet and far too fruity for me. Reminds me of one of Lush's first ever range of perfumes, which unhelpfully was just called 'Lush'
