I have a headache I cannot shake so John offered to read Kyle his bedtime story. I love those boys so damn much.

For some reason, I just spent close to two hours making, eating, and cleaning up the kitchen after chicken schnitzel, mashed potatoes, and green beans that needed trimming, washing, and steaming. My culinary labor for the week is OVER, my friends.

Kyle and John like to climb in bed with us in the morning. We have a king sized bed but since the dog takes a good 65% of it, it feels a lot smaller once the boys join us. It feels a lot smaller all night, actually.This morning they were sandwiched between us - really, Kyle was half on top of Dan and John - and he said something like, "I love Mommy. She is the flower of our family." Awwww. Ten seconds later, they started wrestling and I got kicked in the jaw.
