    Frosty Silkybat Hair Gloss

I had to try this one based on all the love for the original Silkybat even though it's very hard for me to find a patchouli I can wear. I was not disappointed. I don't know if it's because this isn't a perfume oil or if it's the snow/sugar notes but the patchouli totally behaves itself in this rather than turning into a foul smelling mess. It's wonderfully spicy but softened by the snow and sugar notes. I haven't tried it in my hair yet, I just sprayed some on my arm to test it but I really like it.

    Vivement Atmosphere Spray

I love champagne scents so I had to try this one, I wasn't sure about the mint. As above posts have said, there isn't really any mint which was great for me, I love it! It's very bright and bubbly and citrusy. I did notice that it doesn't stick around in the air for too long, I haven't tried it yet on fabric so maybe it will last longer there.

The Gourd of Deprivation Atmosphere Spray

I'm quoting this because it's perfect I was afraid it would be too sweet, but the "doughnut" part of the smell is like really well-made doughnuts that have more spice than sugar. It's sweet without being cloying. Agree with these two posts, it is very wonderfully sweet to me but not overpoweringly so. I don't get any smoke at all which is not a bad thing imo. Of all the Weenie atmo decants I got this one is my favorite.

How do you apply your BPAL oils?

I used to use wooden toothpicks for testing (it's what I had around) and I also feel like they absorbed the oil. I ended up switching to plastic straws.

Prelude to the Bath Bath Oil

This is the first bath oil I've ever tried. Mostly because I don't like baths so I figured I wouldn't be able to use bath oils until I found out people use them as moisturizers as well. So I used it as an after shower moisturizer. Very pretty, the apricot is the strongest note for me but I also smell the orange blossom blending in as well. I wasn't sure if I would like it that much because I'm not that big on peach or apricot but it's really lovely.

Gourmand - Foody Scents - General Recommendations

Chanukkiyah and Gingerbread Snake from the 2013 Yules are both really nice food scents.

If your top 5 scents are... Then try these!

My top 5, in no real order: 1. Ladon - dragon’s blood resin, golden apple, apple blossom, white musk and hyacinth 2. Tobacco Honey 3. Chanukkiyah 2013 - Olive oil, beeswax, glowing amber, sweet sufganiyot, pomegranate, and fig 4. Thalia - Plumeria, pear and white champagne 5. Gomorrah - ripe fig, date and currant with black herbs I've tried most of the GC apple scents, Poisoned Apple and Sjofn are my second favorites.

    Aquatics

The Spell of the Eastern Sea from 2013 Yules is a very nice aquatic. And I'm not really a fan of aquatics.
  9. All of these are GC, reviews linked: Gomorrah: Ripe fig, date and currant with black herbs. The black herbs aren't as scary as they sound, it's mostly very warm and figgy. Bordello: Bawdy plum with amaretto, burgundy wine and black currant. Somehow it smells like watermelon candy to me. There are several reviews that agree so it might work for you. 'Tis the Voice of the Lobster: A woody, musky-weird base glooping over with blackberry preserves, a twist of mandarin, strawberry juice, pulverized watermelon, and a handful of smushed gardenia petals. Very sweet and fruity. Thalia: Plumeria, pear and white champagne. One of my favorites, very light and sweet. Bon Vivant: An effervescent blend of crystalline champagne notes and sweet strawberry. Smells like strawberry soda, bright and fizzy and sweet. Kyoto: A gentle, soothing blend of cherry blossom, white sandalwood and star anise. Sweet and also has a nice edge from the anise. High-Strung Daisies: Daisy, pink carnation, pink pepper, and sugar. Smells like some kind of pink candy, a little like bubblegum. Ladon: dragon’s blood resin, golden apple, apple blossom, white musk and hyacinth. I am biased and Ladon is my favorite ever but it really very sweet and fruity.

    'Pink' scents

I love High-Strung Daisies from the GC. It smells very pink and perky on me. I immediately thought of High-Strung Daisies. It's a very bright and pink sort of scent.

    Twinkle, Twinkle Little Bat

I got this as an imp purchase from the lab. This smells exactly like Sprite (the soda) to me. In the imp it's very lemon-lime and fizzy, like carbonation. It doesn't morph much on me. Dry the fizzy-ness dies down and I can smell a little bit of the melon but it mostly still smells like Sprite. Not much throw but I only put a little bit on for testing. I think this would be great to wear in the summer, it's very bright and fun.
