    Black Fly Butter Moon

This a powdery cocoa stout-infused buttery biscuit. It's not buttery like Jack. It reminds me a great deal of the Cacao, Coffee Bean and Khus trio with added stout and golden butter.

Dead Leaves, Molten Lava Cake, and Raw Cacao

I strongly believe this blend needs to rest a couple of days before making an accurate opinion. I noticed some cacao sludge floating in the bottle, which is a good sign for chocolovers. The dead leaf note here is the bell pepper variety and i was afraid it was gonna clash with the gourmand cocoa notes. Thank God this wasn't the case. The molten lava cake note comes out stronger backed in the background by the dead leaf dusty crunch. Little by little i can smell the gooey rich dense texture of the molten lava cake sprinkled with some raw cacao powder around the edges. Really mouthwatering if you like your dark chocolate on the beefier side. After 4 hours i get a faint whiff of the dusty dead leaf (without any bell pepper residue) smudged in dissipating cacao powder. Very pleased with this blind buy ❤️❤️❤️

    White Satin Hearse

I get Embalming Fluid (EF) fresh on the skin, but after 15 min the blend goes in a slightly different direction as opposed to the regular EF. White Satin Hearse shows a sweet white leather vibe. It feels pleasantly polished. I can also pick up a white flower note, maybe lily of the valley??? and it tip toes close to laundry territory, but manages to stay in check. Overall it's sweet white leather bathed in the shadows of EF's aloe and white musk notes. I very happy with my blind buy.
  5. no they're not. Western on my skin is a strong melange of brown leather and mentholated sage, like crazy SAGE. Snake skin is a completely different ballpark, kind of a leathery gourmand.

    Stoned Bunny Blow Mold

The weed infused green amber is singing on my skin. It's got a tangy/sharp/ acrid bite. The milky marshmallow creeps up on the weedy green amber. I think the weed acrid edge wears off, but it's still hovering above the marshmallow milky goodness.

    Copperhead Snake on Dead Leaves

On my skin this brings out the white sandalwood, orris root, the dustiness of dead leaves and maybe some type of unidentified resin. I don't get any Snake Oil from this, but overall this reminds me very vaguely of King Cobra minus the frankincense.

The Elephant is Slow to Mate

2025 release: it's not what i expected I'd get judging from the notes. I get a strong fizzy labdanum with touches of tangy dried cherries and blackberries. The dry down doesn't sweeten up as time goes by. I wish some sweetness would show up....but no. 2025 release: it's not what i expected I'd get judging from the notes. A Guardian Angel Serves a Small Breakfast

This one smells a lot on my skin like Kobold Barista. Like identical twins.

The Great Battle of the Vegetables and the Fish

I can summarize this as refreshing, watery, a bit airy and fruity as in honey dew melon fruity. I'm pleasantly surprised that my blind buy paid off. I consider this to be closely related to the Shungas, even though the 2025 Shungas didn't bode well with my skin chemistry.

    Snake Skin

2025 release The oil in the bottle looks murky. On the skin I'm greeted by the leather and snake oil spices. Little by little it's starting to resemble my 2019 decant of Snake Skin. The leather looses its chemical aspect and is weaving seamlessly with the snake oil components. After 3 hours of wear my wrist smells like a delicious butter toffee cookie.

    Seule

Skin musk with a thin layer of honey lemon dust. The skin musk develops a faint sour facet on my skin.

Celestial Beings Making Love Above the Sea

This would fit in the HP Lovecraft serie of blends. Ambergris and salty foam. Very aquarium like scent. Reminds of a melange of Abe Sapien, Ogygia and Cthulhu.

The First Tea Ceremony of the Year

This reminds of the Beaver Moon 2023 cheesecake with matcha tea.

    Aroused Demon

Initial stage, I smell the red musk and the tart wild plum. Little by little I get a tea note, not sure if it's matcha or green tea. It's getting a bit more smoky and oily texture wise. As it develops, the wild plum retains it's presence and is backed by the red musk and shadow of whatever green tea/ matcha is left

    Jealousy, Fingering, Masturbation

It's a beautifully blended perfume, but it's light for my taste. I have a hard time pinpointing individual notes. There's a faint whiff of green tea, there's lotus root, and very subtle violets. I get the impression that there's a spray of wildflower honey somewhere, but it may be the overall effect of the seamless blending. I feel that the lotus root is dominating the blend, but it's not overpowering or shrieking, more like tying up all the other notes together.
  18. Faintly soapy orange blossom with patchouli. It's not syrupy sweet at all. It's clean and focused, as in the way orange blossom can come off as clean and relaxed.

Couple Engaged in Intimate Acts as the Man Pours Tea

Buttery fluffy steamed rice with a subtle touch of jasmine. Nothing smoky or indolic showing up on my skin. Really beautiful and calming

    The Dark Chocolate Rider

In Black Rider's chocolate reiteration, there's an indolic aspect that is amped up...is it musk? It's getting on my nerves, to be honest. If the chocolate contributes that, I don't want any part of it.

    A Pause in One's Studies

The whole effect I get from this scent is luminous, glossy and polished. It's an amber white tea blend camouflaged in layers and layers of other notes, like lotus, heliotrope and ink. It feels shiny and glowing from within, and the ink is always lurking somewhere in the background. Later on, the ink highjacks the party and becomes like an industrial thin smokestack, but after some time it recedes letting the amber white tea peek through.

A Record Book of Ships Entering the Harbor

Creamy vanilla sandalwood with a twist of tobacco that gives the blend this dusty spicy twang which tobacco usually does. I feel like I have something similar in my BPAL collection, but can't figure out what. Later on it's spicy cherry tobacco with a hint of vanilla sandalwood leftover.

    Rose Milk Tea

Green tea tannins and fluffy rose infused milky clouds. I get a steamed vibe about RMT. The green tea/milk notes show up more distinctly on my skin then the rose one.

    Mari Lwyd

2023 release I get the spongy dense ale cake with the emphasis on the ale. The lavender dries out the syrupy sweetness and lends a dry air to the entire desert.

    Tiefling

I have generously slathered Tiefling on a warm sunny April day and i was getting the entire time echoes of spice-infused soap suds. The spice registered to me as red and black peppercorns. If you're after spicy soap scents, Tiefling is your answer.
