    Funnel of Love

Peppery vegetal musky leather. A bit dry and tickling from the black pepper.

There Is No Bliss Like This

Beautiful carnation - clove - patch blend. Oriental and delightfully spicy smoky.

    Niji

This is a red currant scent and even maybe a cousin of Night Gaunt. A fruity musky concoction. Truly relaxing and breezy.

    Egoyomi

The peach cream note here reminds me of canned peaches with a bright tartness. Later on the sandalwood puts its magic touch into the mix and this becomes more creamy (not sweet) tempering down the peach tartness, and slowly molding into a skin scent.

    Single Note: Fake Specimen Jar

I'm greeted by a green algae smell mixed with a sweet citrus zest. As this dries, i feel there's something, maybe oak moss, that grounds the blend and gives it a dry quality. The citrus zest still hovers above the dry base and reminds me vaguely of the mid-70s citrus chypre eau de colognes. Color me impressed!!!

    Songs of Autumn VII

In the bottle i can smell the ripe fig fruit, which delighted me enormously. On my skin i sense something green and woodsy creeping up, but the fig still is the star of the show blending in with the honey and staying that way most of the time. In the end, i mostly get fresh sweet ripe fig against a bed of greenness, probably oak moss and cedar (???).

    Frostbitten TKO

In the bottle it's full on herbal lavender to the point i was asking myself why i bothered purchasing another lavender blend oil. On my skin the only thing i smell is the lavender and nothing else, but after half an hour, it's all gone and i'm left with the Frostbitten base that more or less mirrors Snow White. I'm very fond of the Frostbitten part, just surprised that lavender didn't cling on at all to it.

    Women Copulating

Bold smoky unsweetened jasmine all the way! No honey cream, vanilla or cognac. Will put it to use when the weather gets cooler.

    The Sun Rising

This starts off as neroli with waxy touches and slowly warms up, letting the sweetness come out. At this stage the scent's texture is gaining more mass and the jasmine slowly emerges and reigns, but doesn't shriek. Over time, the jasmine gets dusty and slowly turns indolic, unexpectedly; so there's a distant fecal vibe that stays with me for remaining life span of the drydown. Started off promising, but ended up peculiarly smelly.

    Couple Reading Erotic Scroll

This is a gentle fruity sparkly tea scent. None of the notes stand out individually, but I'm fine with that. You can wear it all year round.

    Phonophobia

This smells like the remains of a detonated firecracker, with subsiding smoke and some burnt gunpowder. Not sweet or powdery.

    Leukophobia

Yes, this is so refreshing and cooling. It sweetens up in the end a bit, but stays close to the skin. Wonderful! 🌬️

    Visions of Autumn I

This blend is such surprise hit for me. It's a beautiful spicy cedar elevated by bay leaf and pepper; the smell of the cedar log is just so vivid as i smell the back of my hand. This fills a spot in my collection of woody spicy blends and very appropriate for October onwards.

    Drunk Uncle

The opening reminds me of the fermented note from Dwarven Ale. Then it slowly morphs into a boozey musky blend. The blend doesn't conjure up the image of a drunk uncle AT ALL. It's a warm dry boozey woody musky snuggly blend, best worn in the fall, around Halloween time and onwards.

    Half-Human, Half-Monkey Barbers Shaving a Goat

This is a polite and gentle bay rum. Mildly spicy and has a bit of aftershave thrown in there. A spicy aftershave cologne that doesn't go overboard.

Dead Leaves, Blue Lilac, Black Currant, and Black Orchid

It's a smoky dusky sultry floral. It has a wafting smoke element to it, but it's kept in check. I get a dark lilac in a non-heady way with something menacing around the edges. Hypnotizing, alluring and head-turning.

    Seth

I got hold of a partial bottle last year, tested it several times, but couldn't make up my mind if i like it or not; so i let it rest for half a year and now decided to give it another try. Seth has a perfumey and soapy (as in clean) vibe that lingers for the first hour. Later in develops into a floral clean musk (even though no musk is listed) and with soft short-lived soapy shrieks from time to time. I can't tell if it's the lotus or champaca flower standing out the most, but it's all wrapped up in the myrrh/papyrus embrace, giving off a clean and a tiny tiny tad powdery feel.

    'Tis Not Madness

I got a decant of it in early autumn and didn't think much of it. After 6 months, i retested it and i have a whole new perspective on it. It's centered around the orange blossom that gives off a slight soapy vibe, but it behaves nicely. What is keeping it in check is the patch and sandalwood, which are more obvious on the dry down. It's a clean soapy (orange blossom) patchouli rounded by the sandalwood.

    In Dubiis Libertas

This is is my favorite out of the three blends that the Lab has offered as freebies during the Black Friday sale. It's a beautifully balsamic sweet amber, with woody touches. I can't get over the fact how aromatic it is and it keeps lingering on and on. I get no smoke as other reviewers mentioned above. I wish the lab adds this to their permanent Activism line.

    Cozy Pumpkin Sweater

i jumped on the band wagon and purchased blindly a bottle. i have no idea how agora sweaters smell, but what i can tell you is that the spices here amp up on my skin and i get a fluffy wool note, rounded with a faint orange (fruit) vibe, but still the spices here dominate. i will have to rest it and test it in the fall.

    My Tiger

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!! This is so beautiful...it reminded me instantly of some familiar perfume accords in french classic perfumery, but My Tiger is much more soothing and smooth. In the bottle i sense lavender right away and i thought to myself that it would be a lavender forward blend, but was i WRONG! All the elements blend in so well in a way that makes it impossible to distinguish each note separately. It smells like a foodie for non-foodie lovers, something vaguely like chocolate, orange peel. My eyes just roll in rapture. The amber gives it a bit of zing here and there. Get My Tiger while it's still in stock! Thank me later

Sugar Skulls in the Pumpkin Patch

Sugared pumpkin pulp and a dash of cinnamon. No candied fruits or burnt sugar notes usually found in Sugar Skull.

    Songs of Autumn IV

This has totally failed on my skin. I think the apple peel turned into nail polish remover and effed up everything. It's a dry sour hay blend. Reminds me of fermenting apple cider without fizz.

    Carotene

It's all about the ginger spicy root. It's a zingy (not juicy) ginger disguised in citrus and apricot. It reminds me of a dried ginger root-citrus tea sachet. The blend has a dry quality about it.
