    Honey Snowballs

I agree, loads of rich, thick honey drizzled over a pile of Snow White snow. It's SO good! If you like honey scents you absolutely must get this one. I will definitely be hoarding this one. ETA: Wearing again today and I'm getting loads of carnation, which makes zero sense. I've worn this many times over the past few months, and this is the first time I've gotten anything remotely like this. Probably just a skin chemistry thing, but I thought I'd put it out there FWIW.

    Like Father, Like Daughter

Agree, sugary pomegranate. Fortunately for me, I am exactly the right audience for this. Definitely low throw, it's only detectable from very close to my skin, even after slathering, but it's so delicious I find myself walking around holding my hand under my nose. This would be an AWESOME scent for a HG.

    PPH21

Prototype: no notes list available This is definitely an odd one. The mini-reviews from Cobwebs mostly found this one to be lavender, but the person I got it from found it to be more citrus and mint. In the bottle, I get a sharp, green, minty, citrussy vibe. I absolutely see where this could be sniffed as lavender, but I really don't think that's quite it. Wet, I'm pretty sure what seemed to be mint is actually pennyroyal. It's pretty understated for pennyroyal, not so much in your face as it can be, but I really don't think mint is right. Combined with the citrus note, it really does want to smell like lavender - but not quite. I'm also getting the barest hint of cedar now. Dry - well, I can't really say. This one faded super fast, and was almost completely gone within five minutes, even after a generous slather. All that's left is a very faint cedary note, that is only detectable when I press my nose to my wrist. Retest after 7 years of aging: I still don't get lavender from this one. It must be my skin chemistry, since everyone else seems to agree it is present. Definitely an herbal, fresh scent. Very little throw, but a pleasant skin scent.

How do you apply your BPAL oils?

I have always gotten great service at Pilot Vials: http://www.pilotvials.com/Roll-on-vials.html

The Drink of Heroes, the Drink of the Gods

Maybe if we combined Casablanca's skin chemistry with mine, we'd hit the sweet spot for this scent. So far I'm getting a lot of herbal woodsiness, with just the barest hint of sweet mead in the background. It's quite nice, just not the meady scent I was expecting. Going to let this one age a bit before retesting.
  6. Definitely a lovely creamy sweet cake. Mine seems to be dusted with just a touch of cinnamon - quite nice! I agree it seems more of a cool weather scent, but it will complement so many things. I would love to try it with Bengal, my go-to fall scent.

    Oil that smells like Ojon?

You are welcome! Hope you find it!

    Oil that smells like Ojon?

I haven't smelled Ojun, but I did a search on the Lab's page for Vanilla and Orange Blossom and came up with: Hunger: Evokes sheer, unadulterated carnal lust. An undeniably warm and sensual scent. Black narcissus, orange blossoms, and vanilla. and Mastermind: An elegant cologne of olibanum, opoponax, leather accord, black amber, bois de jasmine, cade wood, pale balsam, orange blossom, oudh, black plum, bourbon vanilla, and sandalwood.

    Antique Lace

I am thinking there is a difference in components between original and the 2017 version. Not at all surprising, given the length of time that has passed. Or it's possible that my skin chemistry has changed, although my old bottles of AL wear just fine still. Something in this, I'm guessing the vanilla, is going a bit plasticky on me. Original AL never did that on me, even when fresh. The only thing that keeps me from wailing in despair is that the ultimate dry down (ten hours later) is the faintest trace of the true scent of AL close to my skin. This gives me hope that a bit more aging will resolve the plastic issue, and I will once again be able to slather with abandon. Will update in a few weeks with the results of my retest!

    Entertaining the Heian Court Maiden

I see where people are getting wood polish, or as my son said “a slight undertone of floor cleaner.” This is in-your-face oud, and is quite sharp and strong at first. The vanilla is barely there, although I expect it will bloom with aging. It becomes more creamy on the dry down, although still quite woodsy. I may need another bottle - I think this will be stunning with a bit of age to settle it down. ETA: After a bit of settling, I'm getting a rich, primarily honey scent with just a hint of vanilla, but with an amazing smooth oud underneath, which gives it a wonderful complexity. Short throw, but that's fine with me. Adore it - definitely hoard worthy!

    Werepuppy

You know how there's an adorable puppy, and you're calling and calling and calling, but it will never come to you? Yeah. I have tried and tried to get Were Puppy to like me. It's just a no go. Most milk scents simply don't work on me. This one winds up smelling like a pina colada made with curdled milk. I'm going to have to admit defeat and try to find it a new forever home.

Kitten with Shamisen Daydreams of a Phallus Palanquin

I am a sucker for pear scents, so this was an instant blind bottle. I have had issues with milk scents in the past, but I was hoping that rice milk would work out better, and I am not disappointed! The pear in this starts out bit sharp, and almost hollow feeling, but the rice milk quickly comes out and smooths things over. It's a lovely creamy almost vanilla pear scent. I am hoping that the musk comes out more with aging, since this feels like it could use just a bit more depth. Even so, it is a sparkling, wispy and very pretty scent. Not much throw, which makes it perfect to wear for work. ETA: Three months of aging has made all the difference. The musk is definitely more apparent, which I love, as white musk is one of my favorite scents. All three notes are readily apparent and perfectly blended. The threow is a bit stronger now, but still appropriate for daytime wear. It would probably also be a great sleepytime scent, it is so warm and comforting. Right up into my top ten!

Chaos Theory IV: Edge of Chaos

Testing through my stash, so I am finally putting up a review for this one. DCXCIX (699) Starts out a lovely lemon and cream - sharp but sweet with a musky undertone. Once it starts to dry, the lemon backs way off and I get a rich floral coming forward - my nose says rose, but the Lab's rose note never works on me and this stays lovely and true. It's possibly peony, but that doesn't seem quite right either. The ultimate drydown is a beautiful rose (or peony, or ??) and apple. Really quite pretty, but just not something I can see myself wearing often. I am being ruthless with my culling, so off to swaps it goes. MXLVII (1047) Whoa. Holy scent memory, Batman! Fresh out of the bottle, this positively threw me back to my childhood, visiting my grandparents in North Carolina. I don't know why it does, but I have never before had such a vivid scent memory. Crazy! It starts out with a candy sweetness, but overlaid on top of a musky earthy note. I cannot for the life of me pick out an individual note in this one yet. As it dries, I can start to pick out a hint of vanilla. The sweetness fades fast and I get more musky earth and a hint of spice that I almost recognize. Possibly clove, because it's starting to sour, though it doesn't seem quite spicy enough for clove. Ultimate drydown: I'm pretty sure it's carnation. I also get something kind of woodsy. Another pretty one that just isn't something I will wear enough to justify keeping, even for the initial scent-inspired trip to the past.
  14. Baobhan Sith for grapefruit tea. One of my favorites! Linky

    Venice

Retesting rose scents! Unfortunately, while my skin chemistry has changed enough to allow me to wear rose now, it has NOT changed enough to allow me to wear jasmine. Alas. It's really lovely in the the imp though.

When your favorite GC blends are discontinued

I haven't personally tried it yet, but Little Sister Is Watching You has been compared to Neo-Tokyo in reviews. A voice on the airwaves: electric, aldehydic cherry blossom.
  17. I love crocheting, it's my favorite hobby. Can I make you a scarf/cowl/sweater/lap blanket to keep you wintery-warm!? I also crochet, so I would LOVE to have something someone else made for me! Is there any craft or hobby that you are interested in trying? I am interested in learning how to make amigurumi, so patterns or supplies for that would be great. When it comes to makeup, what is your coloring? Fair, dark? Sensitive skin? Eye color? Hair color? Style....funky, natural? Any additional makeup info? Fair and dry skin, auburn hair, green/hazel eyes. Style casual – whatever’s easy lol! Not so much into makeup for everyday, but I am currently lusting after one of these: https://www.stagemakeuponline.com/02-ST3/Ben-Nye-Silicone-Tool.html?ref=%2Fsearch%3Fdepartment%3Dbeauty+tools%3Abrushes+and+applicators Do you like to receive plants or gardening stuff? Do you grow plants? What's your favourite flower, if you have one? I am too busy to remember to take care of indoor plants, so they tend to die. I do have an herb garden outside – I much prefer to use fresh herbs for cooking whenever possible. Favorite flower is a Sterling Silver rose. Not so much for the color, although it is pretty, but because they smell like I think roses are supposed to smell. Unfortunately, my Sterling Silver plant died, and I haven’t yet replaced it. How do you feel about amigurumi (i.e. little crochet toys), either characters from a fandom, wee animals, or as decorations? Love them! How do you feel about knit socks? (Plain stockinette, lacework, cables, etc). Are there any other hand knit items you'd especially like? (Mittens, fingerless gloves, hats, etc). Knit socks are awesome! I have to wear rubber boots a lot in the winter and I am always needing warm socks to wear in them! I love fingerless gloves. My ears get cold easily also, so ear warmers or ear muffs are always appreciated! What kind of snacks do you like? Does dried fruit or crunchy dried vegetables sound appealing? Do you like (raw) honey? Jerky? Jam? What sort of local products do you like to receive as gifts? If you're familiar with products in the Pacific Northwest, is there anything specific you'd like to try? Other than dried cranberries, which I adore, I am not really a fan of dried fruit or vegetables. Love raw honey, and especially honeycomb! Jerky is great, I don’t eat beef, but my kids and husband do, so pretty much anything is fine. Love all kinds of jam. I had a bacon-pepper jam recently that was amazing! I also live in the PNW, but anything that is local to you I would enjoy trying! Would anyone mind bath and body works items? Such as hand sanitizer, lotion, candles, car scents or soap? I can always use travel-sized lotions, my hands tend to dry out in the winter. I also go through a LOT of hand-sanitzers for my work. Something fairly neutral scented or vanilla is perfect, so it doesn’t clash with the BPAL I am wearing that day. Any Lush showergel (or other product) you'd like to try? I have never tried Lush, so that could be fun. I don’t use shower gel though, just soap. If you had a custom perfume/beauty/bath product made for you, what would it be and what would the scent description look like? (everything from prose to the specific selection of notes) : I was so lucky that my Witch in this round of Switch Witch actually had my dream scent custom-blended for me! I love drawing! Either fanart chibis on the tablet or portrait work in graphite pencil... but it's been a while..so I'd love to use this as an excuse to draw something for you! If you could commission an art piece, would you choose traditional or digital artwork- and what would it be of? I am not a big fan of the chibi style. A pencil sketch of my horse would be cool to put up in my office. Or tropical fish – especially Clown Trigger, Mandarinfish or Moorish Idol. Christmas decor this year: Traditional/Victorian as usual. I’m so boring that way! What's your shoesize? Would you like to receive socks? Shoe size is 8-8 ½. I always appreciate socks, especially fun ones! I live in The Netherlands but I will visit England soon and might pay a visit to Germany. Anything special from here that you'd like to try? I don’t know much at all about The Netherlands, anything regional is always a lot of fun to receive. Tea and Cadbury’s from England is wonderful too, the ones they send here are just not the same. Do you have any interest in Shakespearean swag (insult mugs, play themed lip balms, oodles of other possibilities) or general performing arts related goodies? We are BIG Shakespeare fans in my house! Anything above would be awesome. We are also very involved in theatre locally – I am currently directing a production of Noises Off which opens in January and my husband is in a production of Other Desert Cities which opens this Friday. What is your favorite Christmas story - be it book, movie, cartoon - and if there are various versions, which is your favorite? The Polar Express, both the movie and the book. Do you have a preference for numbered packages or random selection? No preference, whatever my Snow Angel wants to do is fine by me! Do you have any external wishlists, Goodreads, or anything else that you might not have listed in your survey? All of my wishlists are in my survey. For books that are part of a series, do you have a strong preference for whether you receive them in order, assuming that any overarching plot is reasonably easy to pick up on and the main story is self contained? I am a little bit compulsive about reading things in order. I’m the same way with television series. Do you like Steampunk? Would you be interested in any jewelry inspired by steampunk? I do like Steampunk. Either earrings or hair ornaments would be most likely to be used frequently. I make paper albums and journals. Would you be interested in receiving something like that? Would you like some other type of handmade paper craft? I don’t keep a journal, so that would not get much use from me. Notepads however, are always appreciated. Do you like licorice or would you like to try it? Would you prefer salt or sweet? I love licorice! I tried the salted once, which was enough to learn that it is not for me. Sweet please! BPAL wishlist updated? Yes! Do you like office supplies like pens, pencils, highlighters, sticky notes, etc? Yes to all the things! How do you feel about spicy, cheesy, or sour snacks? Love spicy, cheesy and sweet. Honestly, if I could live on cheese, I would. Would you like any cook-able mixes like for soup or baked goods, cooking ingredients like spices, sugars, salts, oils, or cooking gadgets? If it were homemade, I would use baking mixes. I’m kind of a soup snob, so I make all my soups from scratch, using fresh ingredients. I love getting spices, salts and oils! My kitchen is already stuffed to the gills with kitchen gadgets, lol! Would you prefer bar soaps or bath gel? Bar soaps, please. Candles, wax melts, or incense - yea or nay? Yea on candles, nay on the others. My husband is very sensitive to scents, so nothing too heavily scented is allowed. He does like lavender and I adore vanilla. How do you feel about sweeteners? Do you prefer sugar, stevia, sucralose, etc.? Anything in particular to avoid? I prefer sugar. Would you be interested in: - Dried honeycrisp apples Yes - Applesauce (with red hots for sweetness and cinnamon) Yes - Rose petal liqueur I WOULD LOVE THIS WITH A PASSION! Or even a recipe to make it myself! - Blackberry, Strawberry Rhubarb, or Peach Jam Not so much on the peach, although my husband would love it. We all love blackberry, but I am the only one in the house who likes rhubarb. - Baked or homemade goods (rum balls, spritz cookies, peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, fudge, cranberry bliss bars, chocolate topped toffee, zucchini bread, pumpkin bread, princess buttercups, chex mixes, trail mixes, etc.) Feel free to request a certain type of favorite thing you like. I have a food handlers license and I will make sure everything is very sterile, I am ultra virgo about cleanliness. I will avoid allergens like the plague if you are allergic to certain things. I can do gluten free baked things and/or we could do sugar free if that is a must.Yes to all, especially: rum balls, fudge, cranberry bliss bars, chocolate topped toffee - handsewn project bags or makeup bags? We do different sizes, some with zippers, some with draw strings. I could use a nice zippered bag to hold crochet projects. - yarn, roving, batts, fiber? Yarn for crochet would be great! - any cross stitch items like a small wall hanging or bookmark? No, thank you. - if you said you'd want a knitted item, are there any particular favorite patterns you'd like? No preference. If you said you liked candles/incense/etc., what are your favorite scents for such things? Vanilla or lavender. Do you have a Trader Joe's near you? If not, would you want some of their famous delicious treats? (Cookie butter - original or pumpkin spice!, sweet plantain chips, chocolate covered potato chips, etc) I do have a TJ’s near me. I have never tried cookie butter, which I understand is heresy. If there's one place you could go in the world, where and why? So many places! I’ve been lucky to get to go to many wonderful places around the world already. I would love to go to Ireland someday. A large part of my heritage is from there, and it looks like such a beautiful place. What sort of dollar store items do you always get a kick out of? For example, I always love those silly expandable sponges. I almost never shop in dollar stores, so I don’t even know what might be an option. Do you have a wood-burning fireplace or fire pit, and if so would you like handmade firestarters or scenting bundles to throw on it? (think bundles of apple wood chips and cinnamon bark, or little wax/herb/paper bundles with a wick) No functional fireplaces or pits here. We do have an outdoor gas grill, so wood chips for smoking might be fun. Thinking about your package arriving and unwrapping, would you prefer more foody items or more non-foody things? A mix, I guess. Whatever my Snow Angel wants to send me will be loved. Name a handful of things you would LOVE to see in your 12 Days gifts! I could actually use some stitch markers, since I am getting back into crochet and I don't have any. Do you like to cook and would you be interested in cookbooks? If so, what kind? I kind of collect cookbooks, especially really old ones - I enjoy reading about ancient and historical recipes. I kind of have my eye on Alton Brown's recent book, Everyday Cook. And I always love getting personal recipes - holiday cookies or slow cooker recipes especially. Do you like games (board/card), and if so what kind and for how many players? My husband isn't a big fan of games, and Avery takes after him. Two player games for me and Antonio would be awesome, so we can have fun without those two party poopers! What animals do you think are considered cute? Horses, cats, otters, foxes (especially fennec foxes), seals, dolphins Would you like to receive a photography print? My pictures are mainly of animals or landscapes. What would you prefer? Any favourite animals you'd like to receive a picture of? Would you also like to receive postcards? You can view some of my pictures on http://www.by-ellen.com Those are so beautiful! I love the foxes, and the landscapes, though I prefer the ones without human structures in them. What are your most wanted BPALs? I have been so lucky recently to get a lot of the ones I was most keen on. I have a possible swap pending for some Stekk, which I would love to get my paws on. Yellow Pumpkin Floss and Reapers Gonna Reap, which I have been holding off ordering until the next update. In the realm of "in your dreams!" I'd love some Macabray or The Unicorn.

    Pumpkin Sugar

On me, this is not lightly spiced. This is entirely the fault of my woods/spices amping skin. In the bottle, it's a beautiful, light and sweet pumpkin. On me, it smells like someone was getting ready to bake a pumpkin pie and spilled their spice cabinet all over the place. All spices, all the time.
  19. Wench457

    Reapers Gonna Reap

I got a decent of this, because my skin tends to amp woods, and sandalwood in particular. And, true to form, my skin tried it's best to ruin this. But Reapers was having none of that, and now I'm in a state of vanilla sandalwood bliss from the gorgeous scent cloud surrounding me. Tons of throw also. Definitely going to need to upgrade to a bottle. Or maybe two.

    A Little More Tea

When this first arrived, fresh out of the mail, it was all butter cookies, all the time. Now that it has had a chance to settle, I can pick out the tea more. ITB, it's still mainly cookies, but when applied I get a fairly strong hit of bergamot, and a hint of tea. It's pretty consistent during wearing for me. Like soaking rich, butter cookies into Earl Grey until they're soggy. The cookie is still the leader, but the tea is present as well. I've had it on for about four hours now, and it is fading a bit, though I still get the occasional cookies-in-tea scent wafting from my wrists. Foody without being too sweet or heavy, I do love this one. I only wish black tea was a bit stronger in the mix. I'd love an Earl Grey single note to layer over it!
  21. How do you feel about knitted stuff? Fancy? Plain? What types of things do you like to wear? Love it! It gets cold and nasty here in the PNW in the winter. A lovely previous Witch made me an earmuff/headband thing that I still use. Scarves and fingerless gloves are also awesome. Because it's cold in my office but I still need to type. Prefer plain because it's going to get worn to the barn, and my horse likes to nibble on whatever I'm wearing. So yeah, sturdy is best. I'm into beer. How 'bout you? Styles? And booze? I prefer cider to beer, and the dryer the better. Booze is my friend, and bourbon is my favorite. How do you feel about caramel? Salt or no? With chocolate or without? Love all kinds of caramel! Would you be interested in home made food items? - garlic dill pickles - blackberry jam - dried honey crisp apples - applesauce (with or without red hots) - elderberry syrup (with honey and apple cider vinegar - great for immune boosting) - honey from our bees - rose petal liquor (made with our own rose petals and everclear but diluted down a bit so it doesn't knock you over) - baked goods of your choice, what do you like or dislike? Wow, Those all sound amazing. I am especially intrigued by the red hots applesauce and rose petal liquor. Would you be interested in project bags/pouches? I usually make flat bottom round pouches with a pocket inside and a drawstring. Possibility of embroidery if we still have the huge commercial machine. Those sound lovely! Are you allergic to any fiber or do you know what kind of yarn you prefer? (merino, merino cashmere, merino cashmere silk, 100% silk, 100% cashmere, merino nylon, BFL, BFL silk, etc. Or do you like acrylic?) I am allergic to rabbits, so angora is problematic. (I forgot to mention this in my questionnaire, so I am glad this question came up. Bad Wench!) Mohair also, because of the tickly bits. I tend to prefer natural fibers. Would you want a quilted pot holder? Yes please! This is especially good timing, since my potholders have all died simultaneously and I am reduced to using side towels. Do you have any preferred flavour of shortbread? All of them. Is there anything you'd particularly like to get from the UK? My son loves malteasers, but then I wouldn't get any, lol! Real English Breakfast tea is always appreciated, since it can be hard to find here. Really, anything that is special to where you live is always fun to try! Anything from Japan? Yes, please! Aaaaaal the things from Japan! Reuse shipping materials? As long as they are in good shape and get the job done, go for it! Harry Potter? Slytherins, represent! Hibiscus Seeds? They would have to be moved indoors during the winter here. Ain't nobody got time for that! At least, nobody in my house. Does anyone like fleece character hats? Like these: http://wonderlandonl...like-fleece-hat? What kinda characters would you like to see? Adorable, but not something that would get used much around here. Do you like things with Pumpkin (or Pumpkin Spice?) The only thing I like with Pumpkin Spice is pumpkin pie. I had one sip of a Pumpkin Spice Latte once and had to throw the rest away. :gag: Socks/sockdreams/etc: I have to wear boring slacks and jackets at work. I love to wear vaguely subversive socks. Like a secret rebellion! Anyone a nail polish fan? What colors interest you? Please no more nail polish! I already have too much, plus I usually get shellacs at the salon these days, so they get used even less than before. Do you have an Etsy wish list, and if so, what's your user name there? Yes, but it is pretty outdated. You can at least get a feel for my taste. I am Wench457 there also. Candles, wax melts/tarts? No wax melts or tarts please, I like my BPTP atmosphere sprays. I could really use some floating candles though. I have two sconces in my entryway that are designed to be filled with water and floating candles, but I have trouble finding the candles. Or remembering to get them… New BPAL: I ordered bottles of A Little More Tea, My Little Grotesque and Coconut Meat, as well as decants of some of the other Lilliths. I’m kind of regretting not getting a decant of Waiting, because initial reviews are making that sound right up my alley. I will also definitely need a backup of De Vos’ Unicorn, because it’s stunning and light enough I can wear it at work. Tokyo Milk? Yea or Nay? I have never tried it. I have enough of a problem with my BPAL habit lol! Oh witchee, if you're a writer type, would you like notebooks or journals? Utilitarian or fancy? Lined or blank? Tell me of your stationery lustings. Not a writer type, although I wouldn’t mind a cute notepad for writing notes to put in swaps packages. The one I usually use now is intended to be used to help diagnose dementia, which makes me laugh, but I’m not sure how it is received by my swapees. If you are ok with knitted things, what colors do you like? I would love to get something in Slytherin colors, since I don’t have anything like that now. Also I tend to wear a lot of black and gray, so I am trying to branch out into actual colors more. Teal and green and purple are faves. If striping, what two (or more) colors together? Green and grey for Slytherin! If you want yarn, what colors do you want? No yarn please. I would like to use it, but I already have a bag full that hasn't been touched. --- A color palette would be lovely if you use Pinterest. Or just want to post palette photos in your blog. I do not Pinterest. If this is important to you, dear Witch, please let me know and I will put something together. Are you interested in fabric? Again, what colors, what themes, etc. No, please, no! As a costumer I have enormous stashes of fabric in my house, in my garage, in my car, at the office, at the theatre... Unless you have something particularly amazing. Then I will find the room... Yes, I am aware I have a problem. If you could receive one handmade item - everything from knitted or crocheted gloves and scarves to sewn bags to fanart or original art, what would you prefer? I would love to get a pair of those crocodile stitch fingerless mitts. I would wear them at the office and make my co-workers hella jelly. What are your tea and/or coffee preferences? Loose leaf / whole bean or bagged / ground? Do you have a favorite type? Flavor? Retailer? Tea – either loose leaf or bagged is fine. I prefer loose leaf, but sometimes don’t have the time to mess with it – like at work. I’m a bit of a coffee snob, so I always use whole bean and grind it fresh right before brewing. Unflavored and never Starbucks. They over-roast (aka – burn) their beans, to my taste. What are your favorite fandoms, if any? Doctor Who! Firefly! Just about anything anime will find a home in my house also. BPTP products? Pre-owned okay? Yes, and absolutely! Essential oils and aromatherapy oils- yay, or nay? I have an essential oil diffuser in my car instead of an air freshener. I usually use a combination of grapefruit and rosemary EOs. Favorite animal? Cats and horses. I am also quite fond of ferrets, although hubby won’t let me have one. The meanie. Twilight Alchemy Lab oils? I have several, although it has been a while since I used any of them. I do keep a decant of Clarity in my purse for emergencies. Authors - Jennifer Estep, Faith Hunter. Heard of them? Love them, hate them, or eh? Faith Hunter – Love her books! I devour anything Jane Yellowrock the instant it appears. Jennifer Estep – I have tried her books, but I just can’t seem to get into them for some reason. Hair Falls? They are awesome, and I love seeing people wearing them, but honestly would never wear them myself. Would you be interested in any of the following: jigsaw puzzles; puzzle books (like word searches or crossword puzzles or suduko); coloring books; card games; board games? Feel free to elaborate on preferences for any of the above! I do like sudoku and crossword puzzles. I asked for (and got) Cards Against Humanity for Mother's Day this year, so an expansion pack would be awesome. And yes, I do play it with my kids. (<-- worst mother ever lol!) Yewberry's watermelon rhubarb spritzer looks delicious! Do you celebrate Mabon? Would you like "witchy" or pagan decorations and objects? For example, pentacle wall hangings, mabon poppets, corn dollies, ritual candles, etc? Yes to the yes on this. Kings Game by Lisa Millraney? Looks like a fun read! Honey? I love all things honey, especially Sourwood Honey, but I think it's too late to get any of that this year. Tarot cards/oracle decks - yay or nay? If yay, do you already have any? Which ones? I have two decks. The Aquarian Tarot and a Ryder-Waite deck I am afraid to use. This is enough decks for me. Cryptozoology/cryptids (Big Foot, lake monsters, chupacabra, etc.) - yay or nay? If yay, any favourites? Not particularly, although I do have a fondness for Nessie.

    Playing with Dangerous Toys v2

Oh, how I adore sweet cake and frosting scents. Oh how I wish my skin chemistry didn't ruin this. I get a hint of sweetness for just a moment, then BAM! Stale Chinese food in a shriveled cardboard container. Why?? The good news is that someone else will get to try this one out, and I really, really hope it works better for them.

    SB4

I agree, I think this is a prototype of Lemon-Scented Sticky Bat. This is a softer, gentler lemon to me than the released version. I adore LSSB, which has a lovely musk base on me. This doesn't seem to have that musky undernote, which makes it feel less grounded and more ethereal to me. It is a very pretty, light citrus scent, but I think I prefer the more in-your-face lemon of the released version.

    French Vanilla

Totally agree with maraed, it is Love's Philosophy without the saffron. I am so used to wearing LP, which is one of my favorites, that I almost feel like this is missing something. I love it as is, but I do think it will definitely benefit from some aging, to smooth out the slightly sharp edges.

    Basil Hallward's Studio

Can it be? Am I really the first? Oh, the pressure! I suck at picking out notes without any hints, but I shall endeavor to do my best. A quick Googling shows that Basil Hallward was the artist who painted the picture of Dorian Gray. Cool! Sprayed into the air, this seems at first to be a slightly soapy floral. Very light and wispy to my nose, with soft white flowers. Sprayed onto my pillow, I still get soft florals, but also something else underneath. Sort of smells like baby oil? Yeah, whatever scent baby oil is, that's definitely in there. Also something lightly woodsy, but definitely not cedar or pine. Hardwood-like. A fougere perhaps? Yeah, okay, it sucks, but that's the best I can do. I do really like this one, and hope it gets released so I can stock up. (And also see what's actually in there! )
