Maison En Pain D’èpices is straight up 2005 Gingerbread Poppet but not as strong. Which means, I'm getting a perfectly subtle wet dog smell on me. FAIL!

Holy L.E.A.T.H.E.R batman! Unfortunately, I amp leather and not in a good way, like old person dry-rotted leather that makes me want to gag. I get zero other notes. This is absolutely horrid on me.

Good Goddess, this smells freaking fantastic!!!! It's a beautiful red musk on me. I can't stop smelling my wrist. I want to bathe in it. Love it so much.

Pumpkin Latte 2011
This was very strong coffee on me. Not one lick of pumpkin. Darn it!

Beaver Moon 2011
I buy Beaver Moon every time it comes out. I knew this year's blend wouldn't work on me but I bought it anyway. Love the label.
Something turned citrus-y on me and then straight to plastic. It was epic fail.

Something in Blood Moon 2011 did NOT work on me. Tobacco scents are iffy on me and I think this is what killed it. Big fat disappointment.

I'm really disappointed in The Changeling. I prayed that I would get pumpkin but I amp any & all woods so that's all I can detect. Burnt wood actually. Not good.

Something in Vampire Bride smells like citrus on my skin. It's actually not that bad considering I hate citrus scents. I was hoping to get the red musk but maybe it will age well.

Frankincense Clove smells amazing in the bottle but I don't smell anything unless I bring my hair up to my nose and I used a fair amount, just enough to not make my hair greasy. I get more frankincense than clove.

I don't know what to make of The Gorobble. Something went horribly wrong in the first few minutes of application. I did NOT like it but on my way to work, it settled down to something tolerable. I definitely got the burnt smoke right away that didn't work but now it's a faint spicy/incense with a touch of sweetness, which I take as marshmallow. I was wishing for more marshmallow but I hope it ages well.

Thank Goddess I don't detect the pine in The Wiley Grasser. It's definitely sweet. I get that right away. I wouldn't say cotton candy but definitely something sweet. Not bad.

Something in Halloween: Montreal did not work on me at all. I think it's the smoke/fires or someone mentioned pine. I think I'm getting that too. I hate pine notes. So disappointed.

Autumn Cider was cinnamon fruit tarts on me. Not bad but not something I would want to wear. Sad.

I receieved a Bpal order today and a frimp of Juke Joint was included that got broken in transit. My box reeked of lemon and that's what it smells like on my fingers. No bourbon, sugar or mint. Not a fan.

Halloween: Vegas smells amazing!!! I don't detect cake at all but I get a lovely plum for some reason. I swear I thought it was Sugar Plum Fairy at first. Either way, I'm very happy I bought two bottles. I can't stop smelling my wrist. Smells so good!

Pumpkin Princess is very sweet and girly. But I don't get one bit of pumpkin. Come on!! My absolute favorite scent/taste ever. Not one bit of it. Travesty!!!
I can detect the vanilla fluff & meringue. And I guess the guava. It smells fruity but I wouldn't have been able to say,"Hey that's guava."
I'm on the fence. Will let it age.

Crypt King is a masculine scent on me. There was a woodiness that was the dominant note. So much so that I really couldn't detect much else. My husband said he liked it but being that it's a masculine scent, I figured he would. It was also very long-lasting on me. I dabbed it on my wrist, took a shower that night, the scent still lingered and I could even smell it the next morning.
I definitely prefer Crypt Queen. I'm going to let this age before I try it again.

I really thought for a second that Sprinklecake was going to turn to plastic on me. Luckily it morphed into a yummy buttercream cake. I'm so happy I bought backups.

I ordered Brood XIX even though it was more than likely that it wouldn't work on me. The reason... cicadas. Everyone that knows me, knows how much I loathe summer BUT I love the sound of cicadas in the summer. I've lived on the East Coast my entire life & the sound of cicadas during the heat of summer is actually soothing to me. I have always loved this sound. It brings back VA summer nights sitting in a field with my sisters staring up at the stars comforted by sounds of the ever present cicadas.
Anyway, this started out like strong hay/hemp & morphed into resinous sweetness as others have mentioned. I don't know if I would seek this out often but I'm glad I have a bottle.

Cohen v. California:
Something in this blend has turned to medicinal lemon on me. I hate lemon. Not fond of medicinal scents either. Possibly getting it from the saffron or balsam. You know what, it could also be the tea.
I'm so bummed. I thought for sure this one would work on me.

Berry Moon 2011 smells wonderful! I don't get any berry whatsoever. It's straight up boozy red musk on me. I love it! I'm so glad I bought backups.

Sugar Plum Fairy v3: I slathered myself right before I went to work & it's very strong sugary PLUM on me. I just looked up my review for the released version & it was very candyish on me, not very plummy. I really love plum scents so I am very happy with the prototype and I love it more than the released version.

CD: Alley of Games v6 is an odd one on me. It's very hard to tell exactly what I'm getting from this blend. It's also very light and didn't last long on my skin. I smelled the faintest trace of cotton candy or something sweet. I didn't detect grass as others have mentioned. I need to let this age before I try it again.

I agree about the vanilla. UOH2 does have a similar resemblance to Banshee Beat but with vanilla being the dominant note. I think I prefer this blend to the released blend.

Pumpkin Masala Rooibos is a really nice holiday tea on me. I'm not really getting any standout notes. It just screams tea on me. I really like it.
