I get the cool icy mint, thats not too BAM minty. just cool/snowy mint. and white chocolate. I can pick out the citrus.. but its not a citrus blend on me at all. 6 hours later its the bourbon vanilla, with absinth, and the tiniest coolness of the white mint. Really Really like the dry down! Glad I bought an extra bottle already

Just got my bottle. I bought it untested cause it was such a good deal. I got the red musk version. And that is pretty much what it is. This reminds me of red lace.. but much less sweet. Its pure red musk, with only a bit of honey. Its really nice on my skin. Not too heady or musky, but definitely not tame. For the first hour it has decent throw, but after that, its pretty much just a skin scent. Which is fine by me. I really like this. Its a very simple perfume, but still very nice.

for the first 5 min all i could smell was this spicy soapyness. I was quite glad when that mellowed to the regular dragon blood spiciness. I can get a little bit of honey.. but not really any vanilla. This is a nice scent.. I just think it could be really amazing if it did actually have a milk or cream note in it. Although, apparently the creaminess really comes out from aging it, so i will definitely keep this around for a while. If does end up a bit more creamy, I will surely be ordering a bottle.

In the bottle this is way sweeter smelling then actually on, which I am quite happy with. On, i get a very nice, dark, roasty, coffee. No sugar here, just that slight sweetness from the caramelization of the roasted beens. This is a perfect coffee scent on me for the first 2 hours. Then.. it goes to the dusty tomes. almost all i get is dusty bookshelf. Occasionally there will be whiffs of coffee, but when I actually put my wrist up to my nose, all i get is dust. Would have been bottle worthy, but i cant handle the extra dustiness in the drydown.

Just like many of the last posters, I cant believe I am just now trying this >_< I just bought my bottle 2 nights ago at the westcoast willcall and immediately fell in love with it! I'm not sure, but I think I may have got an aged bottle, because I cant imagine this getting any sweeter/better than it is now. I guess time will tell. On to the review.. Ok, out of the bottle this smells like sexy spicy vanilla. Not picking up any medicinal, or herby notes as stated by some others. Just pure warm sweetness. On my skin, the same thing. Just a more dispersive sexy smell. Maybe a tiny bit of musk, but mainly just warm deliciousness. This almost has a creme brulee smell, but not quite that foody. Has a decent throw for the first 3 hours on me, and can smell on my wrist for up to about 16. Just yum! Will be great to layer with a lot of other scents.

Ok, I got this at the will call and had sniffed it a couple times.. and then tested it like the 3rd day i had it. I was very unimpressed. The pomegranate was soo strong and just made me smell like an old-lady shower gel. I figured oh-well, should be easy to get rid of... for some reason I gave red lace one more shot a week later.. only to have the same experience. Then, in my hazy awakenings the next morning, i remember thinking "omg.. what is that smell?! It smells amazing! who was in my bed?!" lol, it turned out to be me. It morphed into the smell I was hoping for upon reading the description. The "blackened sugar-spun vanilla cream cotton" and the red musk and sandlewood and tobacco! perfection! Now, another week later, the pomegranate and respberry are still there but they do seem to fade more quickly, and i'm not amping them as much, which means I am loving this scent. I'm guessing I would really love black lace as the pomegranate and raspberry are my least favorite notes in red lace.

Wet: MMm, this is very soft and feminine. I dont know why, but smells kind of like pineapple on me. Like a mellow pineapple, with soft soft amber and very soft florals way in the back. I actually kind of like this a lot! I think it would make an amazing room spray thats light and fresh. Dry: Okay, pineapple scent is gone (I really wonder what that was >.> it did smell good though). I get the vanilla/amber combo with the zdravetz as a major player for most of the dry-down. About 6 hours later its light skin musk and very light sweet florals. Very pretty and feminine. Although I wish there was more pineapple

My experience is utterly identical to cuervo's. In the bottle i smell a nice tea and citrus perfume. on my skin however, all i get is a very perfumy violet. in the total dry down i get a bit of the other notes, but it still smells like a regular floral perfume.

Hmm, this seems like an interesting scent. From the imp: I totally get fried food and cherry soda. Its so strange to be able to capture that. The fried food even smells hot. On my skin: Lol, this is like a heart attack and obesity in a bottle. Its that greasy greasy fried food. The kind that was fried in oil that hasnt been changed in weeks and leaves a thick coating on the back of your throat, and every time you breath you get the cool sensation from the grease coating your mouth. Followed by a gulp of fizzy cherry cola to break down the leftover grease. I dont ever get popcorn, just the fried foods and cherry coke.. which I think is cool enough. This is definitely a novel scent, that will only be worn for special occasions (state fairs, circus', maybe motocross, and demo derbies). Like Tula, I would like a full bottle!

In the Bottle: Dark, smoky, and interesting. Wet: I'm totally getting vetiver.. and just vetiver. Maybe, waaaay waay back in the back, if I imagine hard enough I can maybe get a hint of the myrrh. But thats it. I'm hoping the notes will balance out as they usually do... Dry: Well, Mr Vetiver is very persistent! He ultimately does balance out a bit, about 4-5 hours in. At this point, I do really like this scent. Its dark and intelligent, and mysterious and just really nice. Its just a bummer you have to go through 5 hours of smelling very strongly like a one-dimensional vetiver single-note, to get to the good stuff. Since I'm pretty new to BPAL stuff, I'm not sure of all the ins and outs of aging.. but Maybe the vetiver will simmer down some if given some months.. or years ;P

In the bottle: Boozy, citrus-y, spicy. Wet: When I first put it on, all I got was spicy citrus. No wine, no booze, and definitely no marzipan. But 1 minute in, the citrus is almost completely gone and i'm getting the boozy wine. Another minute passes and the marzipan seems to take over for a bit, and all I can smell is sweet almonds. I hope this is not the end of my AGCY&N journey. Although even if it was I would not be terribly disappointed. Dry: Yay! As other people have experienced, the dry AGCY&N does balance back out and I get to experience the full mulled wine and marzipan experience. Overall I really really like this. As a newer BPALer this is one of my favorites (after trying to test 100 imps in 2 weeks >_<). If I dont find too many bottles at will call, I will be getting a bottle of this one!

Hmm, this scent is truly as described "innocence defiled". I could like this scent if it was layered with something else.. but by itself, its just too much for me. It smelled the same from wet to dry, only mellowed a bit and crept closer and closer to the skin. Now on to describing the smell.. um, well not to be too offensive, but it actually smelled like a used vagina. Not like a rank or nasty smelling one, but just a after sex smelling one. And while this can be a turn on, its not something I want to smell like for 10+ hours. That said, I do have to give credit to the longevity of O. I believe I could really like it, if it was layered with something, almost anything, so its not 100% that exact smell.

In the bottle: I first get a gingery, brown sugar smell, in bottle. It is a sharp ginger (like others have said), but with a rich sweetness to me. Wet on skin: The first minute smells just like in the bottle. After that, its.. wait, Grandma? Is that you? It kind of develops into a grandma scent, not my personal fave. I'm assuming this is because My skin seems to always deepen, and add "warmth" more so than average. Thus said, my crisp zingy ginger experience came to a quick end. Definitely getting the spices and ginger. Dry down: *30 minutes in* Ok, grandma's gone back to her cottage, but did leave me with a plate of her cookies.. gingerbread ones. Now i'm getting the warm, buttery, creamy ginger. The spices are less pronounced, and I think i'm smelling some graham cracker crumbs there in the background. *hours later* The same smell from before has persisted. That buttery ginger is still in the forefront, with mild spices and that graham cracker vanilla-y background. So pretty much, its just gotten softer and softer. I do like this scent, but its one i'm glad I got a decant of, and not a bottle. The gingerbread poppins is a little more my style.
