  1. I was that kid in school too. I was the geek that was even shunned by the other geeks. I wasn't even good enough for their standards. It sucks. When I was in high school I was talking to this girl who made girl scouts a living hell for me. She told me that every time she and the other girls would choose a younger girl to make cry. Most of the time, she said, they choose me because it was so easy. But what got me was that she was laughing the whole time she told me this, like it was just a big joke. It wasn't like she was apologizing or even sorry about it. It took everything I had not to shove the flag pole I was holding up her ass. (At the time, we were on the marching bad color guard together.) She was the reason I dropped out the girl scouts.

Mr Man and I barely celebrate VDay. We get each other joke gifts, if we even get each other anything. I remember one year I got him South Park: The Movie and shiny heart boxers - b/c nothing says, "I love you" like South Park and boxers.

And sometimes - even after 4 years and an engagement ring - I still worry that he'll figure out that I'm broken inside and leave me - even though he insists that I'm not broken and that I'm not getting rid of him.

Thank you everyone! I'm so excited, and I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of "wedding talk" over the next year.

Congrats! Ooo, Mildly Illegal Proposal. Very sexy. And private and sweet and all. What BPAL do you think you might wear on the wedding day?

I will wear Peacock Queen. My man loves roses, and Peacock Queen is my favorite rose blend.

  3. Good luck with the program! I am one of those people who have to exercise from home (I am afraid of gyms and of the people there!), so I always think anyone who ventures forth into public-gym-land is a brave, brave soul :)

Enjoy the massage as well, I'll bet that you really deserve it!

I have high respect for those who have enough self-decipline to work out at home. I can always come up with a hundred and one excuses, or a hundred and one things distract me. I also do give it my all b/c no one will see me cheat or skip the section on the dvd that I don't like. So I have to go to the gym to keep me honest :).

But man, am I sore today!

  4. passed!

    Yay! ;)

Looks like I'll probably be right there with you in Oct 07 - that is when I hope to take the PE as well. The Controls test is only offered in Fall here.

    Yay to being EITs
