  1. Tudor Rose

    London

My favorite Bpal rose ever was Moon Rose...I was devastated when it was discontinued! Rose Red was too sharp on me...London is light but I like it almost as well as Moon Rose...Used to wear The Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose but couldn't stand it after my first pregnancy. Just now trying to get back to the rosy scents...my bottle is almost gone, so I will be placing another order for London and trying it over the summer...

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

If anyone here is as old as me (46) and used to wear the now discontinued MAROC (by Revlon, or maybe by Prestige)....MOON ROSE smells exactly the same to me! It is so wonderful

    Glowing Vulva at Ryogoku Bridge

Man, I was really hoping that when I found my signature Bpal scent -in addition to my all time favorite Snake Oil- that it would be something I could tell people the name of when they asked!!! Glowing Vulva (my husband calls it "Burning Pu--y") has slowly worked its way into being the scent I reach for almost every day now. My first bottle, which I've probably had for a month, is already 3/4 used up! It has really snuck up on me as being my favorite! It is gorgeous, light and creamy, and I don't know how they do it, but it definitely has a glow about it. It's absolutely lovely. A check-out girl at the health food store asked what I was wearing so I told her it was called "glowing something"...I just can't quite bring myself to say it to strangers But I adore it! Fortunately I have 4 more bottles stored away, but at this rate, those won't last me very long ADDED Jan. 24: I have grown to absolutely love this scent! It has become my signature fragrance...unfortunately I only have 2 1/2 bottles left. Please make this a regular BPal fragrance so I can have more

    Rose Red

Rose Red 2007... I really love this version of Rose Red. The 2005 version was extremely sharp and astringent on me- more green than rose. It was too strong and gave me a headache. This version is wonderful. It is sweeter, almost powdery- no sharpness to it at all. I wish it would last a little longer. It seems to me that it fades more quickly than the other one. This may end up being my favorite Bpal rose after all...Moon Rose has been my favorite rose thus far. I have had trouble with rose fragrances since I had my first baby (9 years ago today!), but my husband will be thrilled if I end up liking this one enough to wear it often as he loves it So far, so good!

    The Red Queen

Wet: The Red Queen is lovely- all amaretto and a whiff of cherry in the background. I start thinking I may need a bottle... But wait- 10 minutes later it has morphed into a bitter, woody smell- not a hint of the beautiful amaretto and no sweetness to it. Ends up bringing back memories of my grandmother. She played violin and it reminds me so much of the rosin she used on her bow- nice memory but I don't want to smell like it. Interesting scent, but it's off to the swap pile.
  6. Moon Rose smells just like a perfume from the 80's called "Maroc" Peacock Queen reminds me of "Evelyn" by Crabtree & Evelyn London reminds me a lot of "Tea Rose" by the Perfumer's Workshop

    Moon Rose

This is hands down my favorite BPAL rose scent! I haven't tolerated rose scents very well since my first pregnancy, and I've been looking for one that my husband likes and that doesn't irritate me. Moon Rose is it! It reminds me very strongly of a perfume I wore in the '80's called "Maroc" by Revlon, I believe. Smells exactly like it to me- and brings back good memories.
