    Burning Vulva

I mostly get the red ginger and vanilla amber. I can not detect leather at all . I really can not do red ginger at all so I knew this one was a risk, but with a name like Burning Vulva I had to see what Beth would come up with. It reminded me of Neil Gaiman's War actually. I could not wear that one either though. It is off to the swaps/sales for this one.

    Sweet Life

For some reason I had purchased this scent when it was released even though florals are not my thing at all . I think it was a purchase when I had this obsession with owning the "bottles" more than the scents. I have learned that destashing is a good thing and it is better to own bottles I will actually use. It you love florals this is your scent. I thing every floral death note for me is in this one bottle. If I recall correctly this scent never even made it to a skin test for me since the sniff test almost took me out. This scent is a floral lovers dream.

    Haloes

This scent reminds me of Lovers In A Ricefield. I get sandalwood and the same sort of vanilla/rice/shea note from both blends. They both have a sweetness to them from the fruit notes in them. They are sweet, but not in a foodie way. Haloes is a beautiful blend, but it was just not my thing in the end. I am not sure what note is throwing me off. I do not get a blast of floral so I can not say that the lily of the valley is overpowering in any way. I guess it is just a scent combination that I can appreciate, but move along for someone else to enjoy in the end .

    Monster Bait: biggerCritters

I have gone back and forth twice now on this bottle on if I should keep it or move it along . I have a hard time with the initial blast of gardenia. It is one of my death notes that I try to avoid at all costs. I noticed though that if I wait about 15 minutes the most beautiful combination of the vanillas and grapefruit takes over. It is one of the most georgeous vanilla combinations I have smelled. I am not sure what five vanilla notes are used, but they make a divine blend. I love this bottle for the dry down phase which does last a long time on my skin. This bottle keeps jumping out of my sales box and back to its home in my bedroom. Maybe the lab can put out a bottle called Monsterbait smaller Critters with just the vanillas and grapefruit used as the notes . Now that would be perfection!

    Sara Pezzini

This is so yummy. It has my favorite kind of leather in it. The leather that makes me hoard bottles of blends that have it as a note in it . It is a sweet blend due to the honey note. It could really border on a foodie blend since the honey sweetens it so much. I like blends like this that have only a few notes in them (especially when the notes are leather, honey, and musk). It is simply beautiful!

    Witchblade

When I first put this scent on I actually thought it smelled exactly like Crowley minus the leather. I still get that same warm and comforting vibe from this that I get from Crowley so this is a keeper in my book. Looking over the notes in both I see the only similiar note (sort of) is musk. Crowley has "infernal musk" and Witchblade has "glowing red musk". Well, whatever musks these are they are awesome on me . I will have to hoard both of these for future use. I like that Witchblade has the metal and amber notes in it. They really warm up well on the skin. This blend has really great staying power. I only put a small amount on my wrist to retest and it is amping its goodness like crazy. I think the description said it should be layered over Sara Pezzini so I will have to try that combo out and see how it works.

    Wolf Moon 2011

I purchased two bottles of Wolf Moon 2011 since I loved that 2007 version so much. I figured chances were good good this blend would be a winner for me. I have to say I really like it, but it is totally different than the 2007 version. I get a lot more of the snowy, pine notes in this version. The 2007 version dries down to more of a cedar and sandalwood blend with a touch of wintery notes. The 2007 blend goes a little more creamy on me while the 2011 blend stays strong, sharp, and cold (much like Snow Moon as suggested in earleri reviews). I love Snow Moon so this is a winner for me. I just have to say the two years are very different in many ways. I have the 2004 version too, but that blend does not have a lot of throw on me for some reason. I am not sure if aging has done that with that blend. I am glad I have two bottles since it is a keeper .

    Mabon 2010

I am torn by this one . Truthfully, I can not decide it I like it or not. I love the initial scent of blackberry and apple I got, but I did not get a lot of the wine note that I love so much. This scent changed pretty quick on me to a fruity floral that is throwing me off a bit. I think I am amping the sage, English ivy, rosemary, and chamomile over any other notes. I am not getting any of the oak bark or wild nut notes. I will have to think about keeping this one or sending it off.

    Glowing Vulva at Ryogoku Bridge

Holy goodness, this blend is down right georgeous. Before even reading the notes in this blend I got a blast of the cream and amber right from the start. This is a warm and comforting blend that gives off that cozy blanket feel when wearing it. I have had this bottle for a while and knew it was a popular blend, but I always overlooked it in my collection. I am so glad it jumped into my hand today to try because it is a real beauty. I hope the lab brings this one back at some point from the dead because it it back up worthy and I was not around for the first release.

    Sticky Pillowcase

This scent is candy coated heaven . I see there is a strawberry note in it, but it seems to be going more blueberry on me mixed with the other scents. It smells a lot like blueberry pancake syrup . In my opinion the sweeter, gooey-er, and berry-er the scent is the better. I just adore this blend and I am so glad I own two bottles. Yummy!!!!

    Mania

I have two lonely imps of this that I put in a roller bottle. All I have to say is that I need more imps or a bottle purchase will have to happen very soon . This is a red musk blend that actually worked on me. Usually when I see red musk in a blend it is an instant no no for me. Maybe the sweetness from the strawberry note is helping this work on me. I wore this to work today and could not get enough of the wonderful aroma that surrounded me. This is a winner in my book. I find it to be a very similiar blend to Hellion, but it is sweeter and not as strong of a red musk note.

    Joyful Moon

Sadly this did not work out on me so well. I had high hopes of more of a vanilla blend, but one of the floral notes gave me an instant headache. I am going to give it a second chance to make sure it was not just a bad chemistry day for me. I am not going to write it off yet, but if the headache comes back I will know that something in this blend is my enemy. The bottle may be my favorite lunacy bottle that I own. Beautiful art on this one

    Pink Mood

I am pretty much getting straight black licorice from this blend. I hate eating black licorice, but I really don't mind the smell of it as a perfume . I had this bottle in the back of my head as a swap or sale bottle when I received it. I am glad I held on to it though. I barely get any cherry blossom, peony, violet leaf or neroli from this. They may have been present when I first put this on, but they wore off quickly. I think I am going to hold on to this blend for now.

    Clockwork Couture: Male

Loving this blend. I get clove and leather. The clove sort of scared me in the beginning, but the leather comes out so beautifully in the end on my skin. Those are really the only two notes I get from this. This is the yummy leather that I love (like in Loviatar ). I will have to get another bottle of this before it goes away for good .

    Chaos Theory VI: Eris' Tilt-a-Whirl

My Tilt A Whirl is # 124. I first got a melon note and something poking underneath, but was not sure what it was. The longer it is on, I am getting a floral note that I can not identify. It is not gardenia, rose, or lavender. I just do not know what it is though. Way too floral for me . This is going to sales or swaps tonight. I also think I am steering clear of the Tilt A Whirls and moving to the vanilla ones.

Chaos Theory VI: Recursive Self-Similarity v7

My two chaos blends arrived today. I thought I ordered two vanilla ones, but I must have changed my mind and picked one Tilt- A -Whirl at the last minute. My vanilla blend is #300 and it is straight up Vanilla/Sandalwood (usually my death note ). I put it on and got an even blend of a foodie vanilla and a medium strength sandalwood. I was kind of scared, but the sandalwood lightens up quickly and the vanilla is a really sweet and foodie one so this is working on me so far. I am not sure if it is my thing or not. Not really overjoyed, but I could have got worse I think.

    White Rabbit

I LOVE This blend. This is a foodie lovers dream. I got an initial blast of something citrus and zesty along with creamy. I thought it smelled like lemon cookies to me. I do not see that it has a lemon note in it though (maybe that is the tea note I am smelling). I could wear this to work which makes me very happy since some blends are too strong for the medical arena. I wrote down that it dried down to a tart, juicy strawberry scent on me. I get yummy, foodie, creamy, and sweet goodness through all the phases so I am super pleased with this one.

    Van Van

Is this vetiver? Not sure what that note is, but I am assuming vetiver. It is a smoky vetiver with a manly side to it. As much as I get a man's scent in the beginning it drys down to a woman's soft powdery blend in the end with a touch of vetiver in the background. It is sort of confusing . I am not sure if I like this, but I can not say I don't like it. It has a quality of both feminine and masculine all in one blend. I wrote down sandalwood for some reason, but that may be because when something hits my nose wrong I assume it has sandalwood in it. I now think it is really vetiver though (which sometimes gets the same reaction as sandalwood from me). Still confused

    Zorya

Here is a blend that taught me what Jasmine smelled like (since I wrote down lily of the valley on my notes ). Not a favorite of mine since florals are hard for me to wear and this screams FLORAL. It is sweet, feminine, and girly though. It has a very strong throw.

    Veritas

This is a powdery frankincense with a touch of floral. The frankincense mellows out to reveal a spicy phase. The dry down was my favorite part since it went to a sweet, foodie almost clove scent on my skin. This imp really helped me learn what true frankincense smells like . I always see it listed in blends, but I had trouble picking out its true smell until now. I love learning every day about individual notes in the blends.

    Veil

For all the floral notes I see that are in this blend I am surprised I can even keep this on me to test and review it. It is a well blended floral since no individual floral note pops out on me. I get a zesty note in here too that may be part of the "perfumey" part. It has a strong throw. It is not terrible, but it is not for me since I can not do the floral stuff. If you love florals this is a great blend to try out.

    Yorick

Grave dirt, bone, decay, angel's trumpet, and moldering scraps of shroud: the essence of finality. I get freshly turned soil and spice. I got a strong soil scent right away, but then it stepped aside to let the spice note emerge. Weirdly enough the spice note then stepped aside to let the soil note have a last standing ovation. I think this is a wearable dirt scent. It would make a great atmospheric spray too

    Krampus

I picked up a lonely decant that had the word KRAMPUS written on it. I have had this for a while collecting dust in my drawer. What a wonderful surprise . This is a good one. I get a smooth musky wood scent from it. I did not pick up a strong leather note. I did get a touch of something spicy though. This is a scent that both men and women can enjoy. I am off to put this on my ISO list right now .

    Velvet

I am not a fan of sandalwood usually, but the touch of cocoa really helps to smooth out the harshness of the sandalwood to me. They are well blended together. I can wear this without wanting to run and wash it off which is what sandalwood seems to do to me. The cocoa helps to create a sweet and sexy scent. I would wear this as a scent to go out on the town in. Not sure if I could sport this at work since I am in the medical field and it might be too overwhelming. It may be whole bottle worthy in the end

    Vasilissa

I love this one . I get a sweet, creamy shea butter scent from it on my skin. It is a comforting scent that was a huge surprise to me. It dries down to a creamy warm smell. This blend gives me the same cozy blanket feel that I get from wearing Snow White and The Girl.
