I grabbed this morning, as a sort of acknowledgment for Jupiter moving into Capricorn actually, and just sort of embracing that earth magic headed our way. 2020 seems to be about doing the hard work, putting your nose to the grindstone and getting it done. Not surprisingly, being productive at work. I am really going to use this in January 2020 to figure out where to go and what to do, and how to work to get there. ETA: 11/3/2021 I've had a few interactions with Red Eye of the Bull, and this to me has become the TAL of tenacity and determination bar none. It is absolutely 100% about putting in the hard work. This isn't about the lucky find, this is about grinding to get there. Yes, you will be rewarded, but you have to do the work. This is absolutely about drive. At this point, I also have a slightly better grasp on Aldebaran than I did in the beginning, and am less hesitant to tap into that energy.

Mulled red wine, myrrh, and a whiff of cherry blood. Madrid, is that you? It sure sort of codes that way.

Red roses, pale sandalwood, and a whiff of oudh. Okay, so apparently black oudh is super scary on me, and oud blanc is OK, giving things a sort of wispy perfumey smell. Medium throw and wear length.

Delicate, chilly fir. Honestly, this is a very cold, chilly and yet delicate blend. It would be perfectly at home in the Yules. Low throw, medium wear length.

Pine, balsam, and agarwood. Agarwood definitely smells like oudh to me. So wet, feral pine. Medium throw and wear length.

Red rose, honey, pickling spice, and a whiff of vanilla. Somehow this ends up smelling like red roses and pickling spice. EPIC FAIL SKIN. Medium throw and wear length.

Lilac, blue musk, touch of amber and pepper. This one is a feisty lilac blend. The blue musk is always a somber sort of musk on my skin, and the pepper prevents this from being sad, and is just sort of aggressive. This is a lilac that looks like it would literally bite back. Medium throw and wear length.

Frankincense, champaca, and amber. Overlaid with a silvery metal note. But underneath is a very warm resinous frankincense and amber. Sort of masculine? Good throw and wear length.

Murky green mugworth muddles lavender. It's a murky green lavender. Good throw and wear length.

A perfume for the creepy kids, the iconoclasts, the revolutionaries: blackcurrant, cistus, blackened sugar, and oud.

Compared to Come Sister, this is a much more feral bloody orchid. This is red musk, orchid, and vanilla. It's red, bloody, voluptuous. If Come Sister is sheer white, this is a dangerous red. Medium throw and wear length.

Clean orchid, white musk, and flowers. This is a very clean, fresh orchid blend to me. Great throw and wear length.

Lavender, palo santo, and sandalwood. This is delicate lavender and palo santo. Just lovely. Low throw, average wear length.

Lavender over some black oudh, which honestly toggles between salty and smelling foul on me. So this is some unpleasant medicine if you ask me. Great throw and wear length.

Soft leather, polished mahogany and a drop of beeswax. It's a refined gentleman's leather blend. Well kept, shiny, leather. Medium throw and wear length.

Okay, so this is like Madame Moriarty and Lucy's Kiss had a sexy vampire baby. You have red musk, plum, and whiffs of tobacco, fig, mimosa with an overlay of incense. And its a feral baby. If you ever wanted to be a deliciously sexy creature of the night that takes the blood of men (and maybe other bodily fluids) without any compunctions, give this a whirl. Dark, sexy, deadly. Medium throw and wear length.

Blue satin swaths of iris and indigo flower, billows of white mallow root and smoked sugar, embroidered with antiqued amber. Pip starts off with satiny iris flower, and puffs of mallow. But it dries down to a smoked sugar and amber blend. The iris flower is slightly powdery on wet, but then it smooths out as it dries. The sugar starts to come out and the amber is very present. I was expecting to enjoy this as much as I have. Medium throw and medium wear length.

Cactus nectar, sage, dry bush. This is a sweet, dry sagey blend. It smells like the desert on a spring morning. Medium throw and wear length.

Blackcurrant, maple leaves, and a touch of bourbon. This one is like an autumn cocktail based on blackcurrant. Dark purple, leafy, bourbon. Great throw and wear length.

Mums, oaks, and a whiff of amber. Mums on me tend to be very bitter, and the oak just accentuates it. So I have a bitter mum on my skin. It smells orange, and bitter. Great throw and wear length.

Green grass, touch of sage, and just fresh clean-ness. Honestly, this would hands down make some of the best laundry detergent ever. It smells like green grass and I swear tulips, and its just clean, and spring like. Love it. Medium throw and wear length.

A covenant: white frankincense, pine pitch, vetiver, black oudh, and leather.

Smoky red musk and burning leaves. This smells like LIT fire red musk. Like there's something literally on fire right now on a chemical component way. But it doesn't burn? But it is on fire. My primate brain is receiving some very mixed messages here. Also its kinda sexy, because red musk is that way. So, if you ever envisioned having sex with fire, this may be for you. Good throw and wear length.
