Sticky honey amber, and dusty clove. Oddly enough, I get an almost silky fur impression, and its definitely Shunga-esque. For those of you who would love to smell like cat fur.

A real urban oasis.

Steam-distilled ginger root essential oil, dragons blood oleoresin, frankincense (Carterii) essential oil , juniper berry essential oil and berries, Ceylon cinnamon C02 extract, blood orange essential oil, dried orange peel, and dried ginger root from the TAL garden. It's hard to be afraid. Especially when it seems like you are dealing with a low-level fear/anxiety all the time in your life now over things that you have very little control over. This smells like a souped up gingery version of DBR. It's got aspect that remind me to Wolf's Heart.

This version of 13 is a departure from our usual theme for this ongoing project. So many of us are going through so much right now; it seems right to make an oil that contains 13 herbs, flowers, and resins of peace, tranquility, and grounding: lavender, litsea cubeba, sandalwood, ylang ylang, king mandarin, patchouli, blue tansy, Roman chamomile, bergamot, Oman frankincense, angelica, hops, and borage.

Lily of the valley, white gardenia, cherry blossoms, and black pepper. -
Dark fig, and a whiff of cherry. My skin literally ate this up in like 10 minutes. It did smell glorious in those first ten though.
-
Blast of pink pepper, and sweet cherries underneath. This one faded fast on me. Medium throw.
-
Tart grapefruit, whiff of orange, and a note of cherry. I swear there is also an almond note in here.

A highly-polished pumpkin sheen: white musk, lemon peel, a splash of pumpkin chypre, and a pile of pumpkin guts.
-
Honestly, for me this was a bit of a golden custard pumpkin blend. Not so foodie, but kinda creamy, lemon scented and pumpkin. Think like lemon-pumpkin meringue. Yup.
-
A delirium of mortal and immortal terror: frankincense, white oud, tolu balsam, champaca absolute, cannabis accord, and silvery amber.

Lavender, a bloop of Schwarzer Mond, some motor oil, sawdust, and rusty screws.

2019 version Extra peppermint, and underneath sugary vanilla. But mainly this is a sugary peppermint. Still, it sort of disappears from my skin after 30 minutes, but its a delicious sugary peppermint, and I sort of want a bath oil of this.

Slushy snow, and notes of orchid, tobacco, amber, and musk. I think the snow sort of softens La Lethe, and actually makes it more approachable - it has a very red berry tone to it for me. Good throw and wear length.

Definitely agree that Frostbitten Alice is if Snow White and Alice had a baby. Heavy almond ice, whiffs of milk, carnation and spice. I sort of really love it? Good throw and wear length.

Frosty snow dusted over rose and almond. I am amping up the rose in this version. Good throw and wear length.

Black rose, Baltic amber, leather, white sandalwood, black pepper, and vetiver. Rose, sandalwood, amber and a whiff of peppery leather. I am really getting a ton of black rose from this. It's the most prominent note here. So yeah, rose with hints of everything else. Great throw and wear length. Because, yanno, rose.

A pop-song-turned-requiem: honeyed honeybush and carnation blackened, slowed, and thickened by raspy aged patchouli, sweet clove, and opoponax.

Hearkening to the Death Watches in the Wall Atmosphere Spray
zankoku_zen posted a topic in Atmosphere
I had my head in, and was about to open the lantern, when my thumb slipped upon the tin fastening, and the old man sprang up in bed, crying out Whos there? I kept quite still and said nothing. For a whole hour I did not move a muscle, and in the meantime I did not hear him lie down. He was still sitting up in the bed listening; just as I have done, night after night, hearkening to the death watches in the wall. Doom: aged red patchouli, macerated red peppercorn, gloom-black musk, and creaking planks of dry oak. Patchouli and oak, gilded by powdery black musk and a whiff of spicy peppercorn. It smells very intensely in the sprayer, but it calms down to a powdery, slightly dirty oak blend. Medium throw.
