I botched this about two years ago, and it’s been sitting on my desk ever since. I didn’t realize that there was Snake Oil in a bottle when I blended Psionicist into it, so…. there you go. This is lightly aged Snake Oil plus electric white mint, eucalyptus leaf, white frankincense, and blue-white musk.

Zippy clean aldehyde with a whiff of juniper. This smells very clean, and very much like a traditional male cologne. Good throw and wear length. mr. zee_zee might enjoy this.
-
Soothing almond, vanilla, coconut blend. Low throw, and wear length.
-
A ton of neroli and verbena (so hello lemony orange blossom?), with a whiff of frankincense and smoke underneath. It's like a more incensey Jean Nate. Huge throw and wear length.
-
Sugared amber. Yup. That's it. I get very little throw or wear length. It's mainly a skin scent on me. If anyone amped this puppy up though, I can see it being amazing. Unfortunately, my skin just ate it up.

Moss, stone, and nothing really that screams resins to me. Basically if you ever wanted a stone blend, this one delivers. Good throw and wear length.

Amber, stone, vanilla, mysore sandalwood and just deliciousness. This is epically beautiful, and I think I need a bottle. For those worried about the cardamom, yes its sort of there but not really? I am getting other notes. This so so good. Medium throw and wear length.

Fruity morpher. On wet, I get the mandarin and then it dries down to clove, roses, lavender and a whiff of musk that still has a fruity overtone to it. This is delightfully blended and not something I would have expected. Great throw and wear length.
-
Honeyed pom and bay leaf. This one is a spicy pom blend to me, with tinges of bay, honey and fig. I get a very deep red vibe from this. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Resinous, with a touch of incense and sweet gum. This is a very 'pure' incense sort of smell. Not like burning incense, but more like unburnt/ghost incense. Medium throw, low wear length.
-
Bright sage with the warmth of both nutmeg, cedar and a touch of sasparilla. This is a warm spicy woodsy blend that is gender neutral but does lean masculine. Ever wanted to cuddle a tree? This is what tree cuddling smells like. Medium throw and wear length.

A creativity blend specifically crafted to assist in innovative and inspired solutions to everyday problems.

Capricorn 2004, is that you? Okay, so for me this is a very smoky spicy vetiver on wet (with a slight curdle of bacon) but then it dries down to this magnetically gorgeous resin with hints of grapefruit and if I squint a bit it really does resemble Capricorn 2004, which is one of my OG loves in the sense that for some wild ass reason becomes this smooth wood with a tinge of grapefruit. It does go through a slight brown leather stage between wet and dry, which I am not going to hold against it only because I effing love the drydown. Low throw, but good wear length. Win, 10/10, will be buying more.

Herbal lavender and a whiff of mossy oakmoss. This one is calm and soothing. Medium throw and wear length.

Italian Lemon Peel & Orange Blossom

Orange and lemon! This smells bright and citrusy. And while it has a good throw it has almost no lasting power on my skin. 20 minutes later and its gone. -
Smoky leaves. Its soft smokiness. Medium throw and wear length.

Great Joy to Mankind is dedicated to – and was crafted under the auspices of – Asclepius and was crafted to strengthen the body, soothe the mind, and calm emotional turmoil. It is an oil that fortifies health, augments health and healing protocols, and assists in fortifying and protecting healers, caregivers, and those in charge of shielding their households from harm. This smells amazing. I get sage, wood, whiff of resins, bay, and then some herbal flower notes. It smells comforting and healing at the same time. I'm using this post-oral surgery and its a deeply soothing scent. I had slathered myself in S&S Asclepius materia prior to surgery, and am now concentrating on healing post-op. If I could, I would bathe in this.

Minty vanilla Snake Oil with a whiff of blue musk. This one is a cooler SO variant. The mint sort of dissipates after application, and I'm left with a very heavy blue musk SO variant. Which if you love blue musk, love Snake Oil, or also like the impressions of peppermint patties, I'd give this a whirl. Medium throw and wear length.

Fresh stemmy dandelion sap and pink roses. Honestly, this reminds me to Red Rose with that rose + fresh stem smell, but instead of being RED, its pink. This is definitely a pink rose, and its gentler and sweeter than the red. But with that fresh green stem goodness. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Hay, sugar cane, amber and a whiff of rooty patchouli. It smells golden, and like leaves, and very pretty. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Warm grass, fur, clove and a whiff of ambrette seed. This is softer and cuddlier than I expected. In some ways, it reminds me to aged Buck Moon but less feral and earthier. Medium throw, average wear length.

I tend to go with my gut when it comes to using certain TALs. I've been leaning hard into the Immortal Heart series these past couple of weeks. On impulse, I opted to wear some Dei Genetrix. This is a comforting white floral blend where you get succor and calm, relief from the sadness you may feel. I wouldn't go so far as say that this is depression lifting, and the vibe is different from Anthelion. If Anthelion is a gentle head pat, Dei Genetrix is like being embraced by your mom and be given a cup of tea/chickennoodlesoup/pho/whatever comfort food you want insert here.
