I don't tend to leave reviews anymore, but this is such a bizarre experience that I feel like I need to put it here in case anyone else has come across it. This is cinnamon rolls. In the bottle and on my skin. I've been doing this long enough to think that I can pick out a good deal of notes most of the time, especially since some of these are favorites of mine. But this is a strong gourmand baked good, to me and to three other people, one of which is also a long time BPALer. We are of course by no means infallible, and maybe it's just being real weird with our noses, but I wanted to share.

Chaos Theory II : The Butterfly Effect
bloodpoppies replied to harlequin's topic in Limited Editions
Chaos Theory II: XXII In the bottle: Strong, savory herbs, very green On Skin: Fresh herbs, oregano, basil, parsley fresh out of the garden, nothing sweet here, it's pure green, not an astringent green but a fresh, crisp, slightly salty green. Dry down: Dried herbs . It's all the same smells, but a little more aged, like walking into a store where they have the bunches of dried herbs hanging from the rafters. It's still just absolutely green, a very fresh scent. Gorgeous, but not me, I could wear it when I'm cooking, but I'm afraid it would throw off my perception of just how much oregano I already put in the sauce. -
Allergy Questions, Allergies and other reactions to oils
bloodpoppies replied to friendthegirl's topic in BPAL FAQs
I came to the conclusion today that Hurricane is the culprit behind the terrible sinus headaches I've suffered recently (2 on vacation no less ) and it makes me so sad because I love love the scent itself. I've never reacted to anything like this before, although I tend to have terrible allergies in general, luckily none have come from any fragrances, but I sympathize with everyone on the itchy bumpy sneezy side of things.
