I've never done a BrokeWitch, or the Spring Cleaning one, but I'd be interested. I don't really have the energy for SW right now...
-
I was the Evil Queen for Halloween last year, and Spellbound was my choice
-
Hope, of course.. and Katrina Van Tassel, if you can find it.
-
I'd be interested in a Dollar Store round too
-
I was really hoping to get more rose from this, but it's mostly orchid on me... the notes sounded like pure win
-
I like Lemon-Scented Sticky Bats too, as well as Phobos...

Has anybody found something similar to Philosophy's Falling In Love?
Notes: Vanilla, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Musk, Blackberry.
Style: Fresh. Sexy. Clean.

I was a Wicked Queen for Halloween, and I wore Spellbound - it just felt right!
-
I tried this one last night, before I went to bed, and seriously - I could not take my nose away from my wrist. This is
October didn't work for me, sadly, and I was afraid that this wouldn't either. But something - the vanilla? the white musk? makes this amazing. I love the cold, aquatic feeling that it has, and the musk just rounds it all out to equal AMAZEBALLS on my skin.
Definitely need a bottle!

Anyone who loves Benetton Colors (it was my signature perfume when I was in my early to mid-teens) should try Mastermind.
OMG, I loved that in high school!

Welcome!! I found a couple threads for you to look through, maybe you can find some more you like:
I'm not really a foodie girl, but I do like Cockaigne, and it is impable.
As for Candy Corn Coated Candy Apple, I'm afraid it's not for sale by the Lab anymore, it was a Limited Edition. You can cross your fingers that it comes back when they release this year's Halloweenies, or try looking on the sales/swaps pages to see if any fellow forumites might be selling a bottle

I had an imp of Fenris Wolf, and it was red, like the one on the right in your picture...
-
I've always liked Clinique Happy, and I do like Aizen-Myoo. It's really weird while wet - I guess that's the yuzu. But drydown is pretty. I've heard people say Xiuheticutli (or however the heck it's spelled) is similar to Happy, although I haven't smelled X for a really long time, so I couldn't say...

I looked all over for this thread in BPAL Chatter, lol... I didn't know it was in FAQ.
Anyway - I have 4 imps of Scherezade. 2 are dark red (from the red musk, of course) and the other 2 are a pale golden color. If I had only smelled the two light ones, I would never have fell in love. I wonder if the red musk was left out entirely of that batch? Anyone else had imps like these?

no worries, it's not the easiest thing to find if you don't know where to look:
http://www.bpal.org/forum/142-event-exclusive-oils/
another thing to try is using the Search function, put in the name of the oil, and check the box that says Titles only. It should bring up the Review topic

Received as a frimp, was hoping for yummy lemon, but on me, this is mostly powdery musk
-
definitely try Perversion, if you haven't already...Smoky rum and black tobacco with a whisper of steamy leather with a splash of crystalline chardonnay, layered over a sensual, sweet, and deceptively magnetic base of tonka.
-
Very clean, very soft. A lot of throw at first, but it fades pretty quick. Will try again soon, I like it very much, for the time that it sticks around.
-
Any thoughts on the more recent licorice-y scents? I have a partial of Licorice Bats, and decants of Deathly Pride and Kabuki. And I just won Humbug from the Lab! What's your favorite anise/licorice scent?
ETA: I have The Last Squished Jellybean too!
-
I've wanted to try this for so long, and finally got a decant in a swap. It didn't impress me in the vial, so I didn't try it right away. Today, I was trying to decide what scent to wear, and my eye fell on this.
Wet, it smelled like spicy band-aids. Now that it's dried down a bit, it's almost a dead ringer for Othello. Not what I was expecting, at all. Maybe my skin chemistry is wonky right now, lol
-
Well, my bottle has had time to settle, and I was so excited to try this today! Wet on my skin, I get the red musk, and the cotton. Some of the fruitiness of the berry. It lasts in this stage for awhile, but it turns to a dusty, powdery scent after about an hour or so. Will definitely hold onto this to see how it ages, and maybe try it in a scent locket. If I were to use this on a regular basis, I would definitely be slathering, as it just doesn't seem to stick around. Maybe I'll use it as a sexy-time scent before bed?

This one isn't as in-your-face-fizz in the bottle as the others I got to try. More sweet, and berry-like. Once it's on my skin, the champagne makes more of an appearance. The sweetness stays right underneath it though, and makes it a very pretty scent. I like this one too
-
*drool* seriously, this one makes my mouth water! More champagne-y in the bottle, but on my skin the cake really comes out... and it's covered in buttercream frosting! There is still the fizzy, effervescent champagne in the background though - I like it!
-
Out of the three Champagne scents that I was lucky enough to try, this is my least favorite. In the bottle, it's nice and apple-y, but on my skin I don't get a lot of apple, it's mostly just fizzy - with a soapy "feel" to it. A lot of of fizzy throw at first, but dries down to skin-level within about 15 minutes. Hmmm, jury is still out on this one...

I’ve never tried Storyville, but I love red musk, and I love pumpkin, so I thought this would be a fairly safe blind buy.
Also, I had Covid a year ago, and my sniffer is still wonky sometimes.
In the bottle, I get a smooth, sweet red musk, mostly. Once it’s on my skin, that jasmine pops out 😳 jasmine is never nice to me. I’ll see how this develops throughout the day, but I probably won’t be keeping this bottle.
