i love the smell of nag champa incense. are there any bpal scents that smell like it? i've tried gaueko..and while i like it, i'd like something that smells as close to *just* nag champa as possible (without too many other notes). thanks!

this reminds of an almond lotion with a grapey scent to it. it isn't totally unpleasant, but it's not something i'd wear for the smell either. i'm curious as to how it may work though.

a gorgeous, spicy amber smell with notes that smell like cream and dry grasses. i can see me wearing this one a lot in autumn.

mmm.. honey and musk! i don't smell much of the ylang ylang, but there is something (i guess it's the labdanum) making it smell kind of strange. as long as the honey note stays strong, i'll hang on the imp... otherwise, it's off to the swaps.

nothing but a generic soap scent. definitely not for me

The depths of despair, a dark Ecclesiatical triumph: the incense of the Inquisition. strong incense... it smells like Cathedral, sandalwood, and cedar. the cedar gets a little overpowering at times, but after a while, it mellows out. i think this would be a great room scent.

my first thought: now that's an unusual one! it smells of dust and teakwood with the cypress almost hidden. something about it is putting me off... i'm guessing it's the orchid. i'm a big fan of dirt scents, so i'll keep it around and see how it ages.

wow... there's so many notes hitting me all at once! the carnation seems strongest, but i can also smell the incense, amber, rose, and sandalwood. i don't smell the honey, but it does have an overall sweet scent. i'm happy to have a decant, but a bottle would have been too much for me.

dragon's blood, musk, and cocoa... it's very sweet on me, no pepper at all. i love the story, so i had to try the scent. the scent is OK.. i'm on the fence as to whether i want to keep it.

hmm.. this is a lot more woodsy than i thought it would be. it's smelling like a woodsy-spicy soap with a hint of dried rose. eh, off to the swaps.

this is very very nice! the amber, coconut, caramel, and delphinium are strongest with the other notes providing a wonderful smelling background. absolutely beautiful!

wow.. this is heavy on the myrrh. i hope it settles down so i can smell the other notes. *waits* still super-strong myrrh and a bit of citron. :/

very woodsy with a piney juniper note...and something that's VERY sharp to my nose. just not working for me.

i really thought i was going to like Smut after seeing all the comparisons to both Snake Oil and Snake Charmer (two of my favorite scents). but... it's not working for me at all. i don't smell any resemblance to the above-mentioned scents. :/ it's nauseatingly sweet with a fruity scent and something that's like burnt plastic.

what a beautiful, complex blend! the florals are drowned out (this is a good thing for me) by the sandalwood, vanilla, amber, and honey...and what i'm guessing is the date palm. i'm going to need more!
