    Snow Moon

Mmmm, all I smell in the bottle is the fir and birch. I can't smell anything else. And when I first put it on, the woodsy scent is almost a bit too much. After a little while it tones down, though, and after about an hour I notice the flowers start to creep through. I still smell the woods, even hours later, but it's like the woods are sheltering the flowers from the snow, and their scents are having to fight their way through a canopy of fir needles. Very lovely blend. Just perfect for me. Must get more someday.

    Milk Moon 2007

I had tried the previous incarnation of Milk Moon (which didn't agree with me at all, to my regret) so I was a bit hesitant to try this new formulation. I needn't have worried. This is great! In the bottle it smells creamy yet a touch tart. Maybe bitter. Must be the pomegranate. I also have to agree with those who detect pineapple, as I'm getting some of that as well. On me, the fruity smell takes over, but still smells faintly bitter. I can also smell the milk or cream (which doesn't like my body chemistry) under the fruit, but it's faint so the scent isn't ruined for me. This isn't something I'd wear on a regular basis, but perfect for when I'm feeling sassy on a summer day.

    Milk Moon 2005

*sigh* I had high hopes for this one when I sniffed the bottle. I was picking up a boozy cream. Almost like buttermilk, but better. Once I got it on me, though, my body chemistry said "uh uh". What was creamy suddenly turned to curdled milk. Or, as some have said, bad baby formula. It's so sad. I really wanted to like this one.

    The Peacock Queen

Oh my! I knew I liked rose in general, but I had no idea it could be this lovely. *sniffs* I just can't stop sniffing my wrists. I think this scent is so well-named. This is a full-bodied, mature rose, and all the more beautiful for it. Sultry, yet regal. Must buy another bottle or two for my hoard.

    Snow-Flakes

Mmmm, Snow-Flakes is so yummy. In the bottle, I smell a delicate mint, but I'm not sure what else is blended in there. Whatever it is cuts the mint so it's not overpowering. Just a beautiful, delicate blend. On me, the mint disappears slowly, and it smells more like powder, but there's something sweet lingering, so it's not a dry powder smell which I don't usually care for. Perfect for a winter's day. This is definitely a keeper. Oh, I can't stop smelling my wrist.

    Delight

When I first smelled Delight in the bottle, it was too strong for me. I had reservations about trying it out, but I went for it anyway. Almost immediately, the jasmine hit my nose and I couldn't smell anything else. The jasmine definitely had staying power, and I wasn't sure if I was going to change my mind and wash it off. I'm glad I stuck it out, however, because after an hour or so the scent had morphed into -- of all things -- a gentle raspberry chocolate. Where that came from, I have no idea. Talk about strange body chemistry. I'm going to have to try this one out a couple more times before I make up my mind. I love how it smells once it finally settles down on my skin, but that first hour or so almost kicks my butt. Not sure if it's worth that initial aggravation.

    Gluttony

I was so looking forward to this one. Chocolate? Anything that smells of chocolate must be good, right? Unfortunately, that didn't hold true for me. In the bottle it's very strong. Reminds me very much of coffee, and I can't stand coffee. I don't drink it, and the smell always turns me off. I think it must be the hazelnut I'm smelling, but the chocolate smells bitter to me. When I first tried it on my skin, it smelled a bit sweeter, but the hazelnut took over again, and I was once again reminded of burnt coffee. Still very strong. Even after a couple of hours, the scent was very strong, and never mellowed out into anything enjoyable for me. Such a shame that this didn't mesh with my body chemistry at all. I hate to say it, but this is the first one I say "no thanks" to.

    Harlot

Yummy! In the bottle I smell the roses the most. The cinnamon is barely noticeable. It's like a rose garden, with just the tiniest hint of an interloper. On my skin, I still smell the roses, but the cinnamon comes out to play to add just a touch of spice, so the roses aren't overpowering. It's very strange, though, but I get different reactions on my wrists. One smells mainly of the roses, which I love, but on the other the cinnamon comes through much stronger. Perhaps, despite my shower before applying Harlot, there's still something remaining from earlier in the day, and that's what I'm smelling in combination with Harlot. My only regret is that there's not much staying power with my body chemistry. It mellows down to something barely noticeable in only a matter of minutes, which is disappointing, but while it's there it makes me very happy. This one is definitely a keeper.

    Ra

In the imp, Ra smelled of cloves to me, with a hint of oranges and some other spice. Wet, the spices came alive more. I don't know if it's frankincense or what, but I'm loving it. When it's dried, I smell incense, which I adore, but there's also a hint of something golden. I feel like I'm in a tent somewhere, perhaps in a tropical oasis, and I'm being pampered by a few very buff men. I had to order a full bottle. I love it!

    Kabuki

In the bottle, Kabuki reminded me of very juicy cherries. A bright, happy scent. Wet, it reminded me of cough syrup. Not the kind you dread to take, but this was like the very best cough syrup I could imagine. In my heart I just knew that if I were to drink it, the cough syrup would taste great. Yeah, I know, very strange. Kabuki started to dry almost immediately on my skin, and the licorice scent just popped. It didn't take long for the licorice to mellow into something a bit sweeter. Not sure which I'm noticing more: the red musk or the star anise (not good at identifying scents yet), but whatever it is is wonderful! This is now one of my favorites.
