    Epitaph

At first sniff, I got an almost clinical, floraly smell. As I put it on, the roses immediately became prevalent, but I could still catch faint hints of lilies underneath. Sadly the rose turned a little sour to my noes *damn you skin chemistry* Although the scent did fade a little, no real great transformation took place. The roses were still overpowering just about everything else, and after a while it started giving me a slight headache Which is sad because I hoped this would be a really good scent for me.

    October

When I first opened it, I got freshly cut grass and a really sharp scent of honeysuckle before it blooms, which is odd. It wasn't that appealing though. As I put it on, that sharp grassy smell remained, but within a few minutes, it transformed into this gorgeous sweetly smoky blend reminiscent of an autumn night around a campfire. It was divine! Perfectly lovely. October far exceeded my already high expectations, and along with smelling beautimus, it also reminds me of some nice times from way back when This definitely warrants purchasing another bottle!

    The Hesperides

At first sniff I get apple. And not apple, but more like in your face APPLE! As I put it on, the delicious apple turned into something plasticky and not yummy at all...I hope that it turns into something better Alas, as time went on, the plastic is still there, although this time there is like...a lip-sticky smell too, and not in a good way.... So, not something that I'll be keeping... Damn you funky skin chemistry!! I really really wanted to like this one too, and it was so pretty in the bottle.

    Bewitched

Upon first sniff, it smelled really really sharp and almost pine-sol-esque, so a little wary.... The blackberry immediately jumps out on my skin. The cleaning scent is gone, but it's still a pretty sharp scent. After a while, the blackberry has calmed down and the sage has come out to play! The sharpness has also gone down, and it's turned into a soft, and darkly sweet scent on me. A beautiful scent, but remains a little strong to my nose. I'll have to see how people react at work as to whether I need to tone it down a bit. Definitely a keeper, but I'll have to re-test to determine if a 5ml is necessary or if an imp will do me.

    Jack

Woo! My first BPAL scent as well! At first this was not on my list o'wants because I wasn't quite sure how the pumpkin would work out on me. But I got Jack as a frimp in my very first order, and after sniffing it, I decided that I wanted this to be my first official BPAL try, and I have to say, I'm really glad that my skin didn't turn this into something icky! Upon first sniff I get a nice warm autumn day where someone is baking yummy pumpkin cookies. Really pretty. I put it on, and the pumpkin and nutmeg just kinda popped out on my skin, and no peach or clove to be found. As time went on, the pumpkin and nutmeg stayed pretty prevalent, but now I keep catching underlying whiffs of the aforementioned hidden peach. Overall an absolutely yummy and relaxing scent, very comforting and foody A complete winner in my book!
