Concentrate. *pulls nose away from arm* Perfectly accurate cheesecake..rich and slightly salty, pungent, dense, moist...whoa not the graham cracker crust too!! Now I'm hungry...;_; This is similar to the other cake-y scents I've tried - however it lacks the fruity currant and uber sweetness of Eat Me, and doesn't possess the complexity that Dorian/Snake Oil give to Cake Smash..there's nothing overtly complex about this scent and that's part of of the reason it's so delicious. Just perfect cheesecake. Now, I must get back to inhaling.

A necrobump for this thread cause tomato leaf is amazing! How have you fared with scents with that note? Pumpkin III 09: This pumpkin has a very nice tomato leaf note in it, but even though it doesn't lean towards complete foodiness like the others, sometimes the sweetness of the pumpkin overshadows the sharpness of the tomato leaf, which can be a little disappointing. Planting Moon: This is my favorite blend with tomato leaf in it because the dirt note makes it smell gardenlike and doesn't detract from the sharp saltiness of the tomato leaf much, although there are a few floral-ish smelling notes in Planting Moon that keep it from being perfect. The Jersey Devil: The description says tomato leaf but this guy is all pine pitch, cranberry, and cedar..the tomato leaf might have made a brief appearance on the drydown but my nose isn't certain Please post if you have any ideas or recommendations! I have a vested interest in this thread

Red Rose is spicy, cloves, cinnamon, smoke, and a teensy bit of musk? It has the feel of being dry and kind of low density..layering it with White Rose provides a base that Red Rose can spiral from. Red Rose adds depth and spicey complexity to the pair of roses. But I can also see wearing it on its own, it reminds me slightly of Mircalla because of the clove. Very pretty.

This is quite faint on my skin. Coconut meat and frankincense with a little bit of rose peeking its head through This is pretty but indiscernible, and in my mind serves as the support of the pair of Red and White Roses when I layer them. It adds weight and an underlying smooth sweetness.

This reminds me of a sweeter, pinker The Unicorn, if The Unicorn had mandarin orange taking precedence while lilac floated dreamily in the background. It tends on the ethereal side but the earthy plum blossom seems to balance it. The label art is gorgeous.

This smells green, while at the same time being warm and inviting. But wow, I could SWEAR there is tomato leaf in here. I love tomato leaf, so it's not a problem, but...what, there's none in the notes you say? Really? Are you kidding me?

I was looking forward to trying Boomslang. Cocoa and rice milk = love. The oil in my bottle tends to separate so the cocoa stuff is on the bottom so you have to swirl it to get the deep dark oil everyone mentions. Hmm...it's sweeter than Snake Oil, and smoother...I can kind pick out the cocoa if I try..but honestly the richness doesn't really stand out distinctly so much as it melds into Snake Oil seamlessly. So technically, this is my "aged Snake oil".

To me Falling Leaf Moon is a less pungent Samhain. More leaves and a more watery vibe as compared to Samhain. There's a note in here I recognize the feel of but have no idea what the name is...but regardless, that note is kind of turning this weird spicy menthol on my skin. I want to make the rain/leaf themed scents work but they keep failing on my skin. Oh well. More for everyone else I suppose.

A generous forumer frimped me a bit of Hellhound. It's quite herbal wet, and as it dries down a smokey quality emerges. It's not sweet at all, the vanilla I hoped for is nonexistant...all in all this turned out rather masculine. Curse my skin chemistry

Mlle. Lilith does smell similar to Mme. Moriarty, however Mme. has more musk and is deeper, darker to my nose. Mlle. is lighter and simpler and sweeter. I can pick out the coconut, pomegranate and sugar. The musk is very light which is actually kind of nice. If Mme. Moriarty had a color it would be a deep murky purple red, but Mme. Lilith is a bright red-pink. It's very pretty imo and I prefer it to Mme.

Light and buoyant...this smells like eating tangerines on a warm wooden pier while dangling your feet in the water and watching the boats go by. I like that it's fruity without being overly sweet.

Cake Smash is incredible! Wet it's yummy cream cheese, and drydown a very realistic cake smell emerges. In the background there's a spice-y/incense-y/musky smell that must be the Dorian and Snake Oil. It's similar to Eat Me but more complex. Delicious!

This is just lovely. I'm getting the distinctive wet dirt note from Zombi and Deep In Earth, as well as tomato leaf and florals. I like the garden-like nature of this. It smells outdoorsy and breezy and fresh and green without being powdery death by florals.

I really loved this scent in the bottle. It smelled like delicious yellow cake mix. On my skin it went kind of sweet creamy ice cream...but I wanted it to stay cakey. It's still lovely though, and I'm curious how it will age.

Wow, this is actually pretty good. I usually don't like patchouli. And this smelled ALL PATCHOULI in the bottle. But on my skin, the other notes in here are forcing it to play nice....leather, a hint of lilac, a tinge of vanilla sweetness, a waft of red musk....I love the complexity of my favorite demon. sigh.

This smells like an sticky orange roll with pumpkin. It's foody and delicious. One of the best foody pumpkin scents I've tried.

This is freakin GORGEOUS. I love Shadwell. It's sweetened condensed milk and tea, with a hint of a masculine spice cologne that keeps it from being foody. Sooo comforting, I want to wear this while walking in the rain.

Green Tree Viper reminds me of mint chocolate ice cream. The mint is the most prominent note but the Snake Oil and green tea give it a solid backing. Refreshing and relaxing. This is lovely and I'm so happy I have a bottle.

November is very resin-y on my skin, with clear ozone and lots of pine. Cold. Brr. It evokes a colorless feel, the way a snowfall blankets a landscape. Waiting for the drydown of this was worth it, at first it's way to strong and screams HELLO I AM PINE.....but I waited and now it's gorgeous wet leaves.

This is a very light lemon tea scent. I agree with the reviewer who said it reminded her of lemonheads. And then..the leather shows up, unexpectedly. Faintly, wistfully. Overall, this is a very wistful scent. Dorian hits you over the head with his smutty vanilla tea musky goodness...but Severin is shy, awkward, with big eyes and a full mouth that seems to tremble slightly whenever you look at him. Severin is a dreamer. God. I would love to smell this on a guy.

This is extremely pretty and wistful. I'll try to describe it...there's rose. But it's not ROSE. It's just rose. This is a very good rose. How can this be possible? Where is the I AM ROSE EATING YOUR NOSTRILS FROM WITHIN WITH MY PUNGENT THROW? It's so pretty and subdued. Behaving itself. And then there are the resins, making this rich and exotic without being all "I am headshop hear me roar". I'm really happy I got a chance to try this, it's beautiful.

The sandalwood in Shadowless like Silence is tempered by pale roses and dry forests. This is a very dry scent. Sweet but still dry. It also wants to be ornery and go to baby powder on my skin. I hope a little aging will help smooth out that aspect a bit.

I get sweet blood orange, roses, amber and myrrh. It's a very somber kind of hallowed scent. A regret tinged sunset. The overall effect reminds me a lot of Cathedral.

To me Julia Stone smells exactly like Dirty with a banana note in it.
