Name That Blend!

I have this tendency to layer my BPAL scents, and then name the blend, as in Smut-O-Rama. I also mixed Lovitar and Smut one night. I'm still surprised that I didn't explode -- that's mixing two incendiary substances! And it's a bit of a BDSM mix that wouldn't be for public consumption, and would naturally need to worn with leather underwear. It was dubbed Joe Perry Bait. (And of course, thanks again to the Diva of Icons, minilux, for providing me with the customized beauties!)

 

I really do try out these blends because I get curious, or more often than not, I want to juice things up a bit. Every time I get something a bit low-key, I decide to toss in some heat. (I'm a Leo.) So tonight, I decided to see what would happen if I put down a nice layer of Coyote and then dabbed a bit o' Smut on top. It's nice. I went out to get some iced tea and read at a coffee house, and the girls working there were leaning over the counter inhaling me, because they liked it that much. Of course, they now have the Lab's web site address and are officially enabled. :cry2:

 

But that blend... do I call it Coyote Smut or Smut E. Coyote?

OK, so here's a glimpse into how my mind works; I apologize in advance. Hang onto those hats and glasses!

 

You say Smut E. Coyote, and I think of an old Warner Bros. cartoon that Tex Avery did, one that hasn't been shown on regular TV in years, called "Red Hot Riding Hood." It was basically a burlesque show in cartoon form (1940s) with this cute chickie singing a song and all the guys in the audience turn into wolves, slobbering and hooting and hollering. A classic shot that's been duped over and over (including Who Framed Roger Rabbit) is a wolf watching the show, and his eyes project out of his head, and he says "AROOOOOGA!!!"

 

So there's my suggestion: AROOOOOGA!

:) Actually, you're closer to my thinking than you might guess. Here goes my whack subreferences: Coyote, by itself, puts me in the pensive Joni Mitchell "Coyote" mood. Layer Smut over the top of Coyote and Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London" started running through my head, and you know, that goes: "Arrrrrr-OOOO, Werewolves of London..."

I love "Werewolves of London"! Your idea is better than mine -- ArrrOOOO!! I have the cartoon on laserdisc and can get a screenshot if minilux wants one :) It's pretty famous and probably easy to find.

 

And I didn't know that's where Joe Perry Bait came from: Loviatar and Smut :)

I am loving Dawndie's suggestion. (And I do remember that rarely aired Tex Avery cartoon. Why I ever thought the Warner Bros' stuff was appropriate for children, I'll never know... but it sure does explain a lot about my formative years. :))

 

Now I want to create a blend that exemplifies other cartoonish phrases like BOING and BADA-DIDDA (the sound of Shaggy and Scooby winding up to run away), and of course YOINK.
