It seems like a lot of shops’ Halloween lines have items related to the same standard fandoms, such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Disney’s Haunted Mansion, Beetlejuice, Addams Family, etc.  Do any of those (or other ones) particularly resonate with you?  Hmm... not those in particular, but I do love horror movies in general. In particular I like Hannibal Lecter stuff, Midsommar and Hereditary, The Shining, and American Psycho (those would be the horror movies I like enough to have a fandom for). I never got into the popular 80s slashers, though (like Friday the 13th or Nightmare in Elm Street). 

 

How do you feel about atmospheric/novelty scents and novelty food items? Things like "new car candle" or "eyeball jawbreaker" or whatever.

I love atmospheric scents! I also love novelty and kitsch and weirdness so this idea feels suited to me!

I can do either! If it’s loose I put it in bags, ha. I do drink coffee (and hot chocolate) much more often than I drink tea, though

Hmmm… here’s my answer from Switch Witch: “I suppose I do have a preference for... "new information?" I like the social interaction, learning about new things and the surprise factor more than like... the "niceness" of the gift. So I suppose my preference is for several smaller, less expensive things that are new to me! Also, I consider anything custom and handmade amazingly awesome new information and interaction (and like something Hannibal themed would be treasured forever). But please don't stress out! I understand that I may be someone you've just "met" through the internet and it will be hard to get me the perfect thing. I love all gifts! I love green rocks! But I’m cool with any neat rock. I like fossils! I prefer them undrilled. I put them on my shelf of “neat rocks.”

 

My mom has an etsy store - she makes bags.  Do you love anything from it?  We can also do box bags, draw string bags, dice bags, etc. and if you want a different type of material or a different fabric pattern, I'm open to links to specific things.   (yes, we have harry potter things.  We bought most of it before JKR showed herself to be a twat since we buy lots of bolts at the same time - yes, we have a whole room stuffed full of fabric.)

I grow mugwort and it's harvest season. Would you like dried leaves for bathing or tea? Or a bound bundle for smoke cleansing? (Its said to be excellent for divination or lucid dreaming, but do not use if pregnant.)  its also a digestive bitter and tastes great on chicken.

Hmmm... I went in a B&BW recently, and I would absolutely use a handsoap. I have my own stash of hand santizers though! I liked their... uh, a pumpkin waffle scent!
