Awesome farmer's market by my house. They have a local honey stand (which also sells things made from local honey like Propolis tincture!); there's a small apothecary and she additionally makes soaps and hand-made, hand-poured scented candles; plus a guy that makes an array of BBQ and Hot Sauces. Does ny of this appeal? Would you like anything from my local farmer's market? Although I am not side-eying honey and sugar as an ingredient in something else I am avoiding them in general. As always soaps and candles are welcome

What are some things you do NOT want to receive? I think cosmetics which were asked about various brands. I rarely wear cosmetics {except for nail polish I have a lot of nail polish} and have a ton of it.

If you like stationery, do you like plain, colors, images, or specific DON'T LIKES? I tend to like stationary generally speaking. I cannot think of something that I particularly dislike although sometimes that grumpy hausfrau with coffee in hand gets to me. I guess I don't like grumpy cat either. I don't like grumpy.

do you collect the art cards that BPAL sends out? Any in particular that you are looking for or definitely don't need? I tend to put them in a drawer then send them off into the wild in a mad fit of destashing. Repeat. I did recently get a sticker and it had drops of something on it so is kinda ruined and wish I had a pristine one but for some reason it isn't at hand so I cannot describe it

Favorite animals or wild creatures or mythological creatures? I love elephants ... My daughter loves cats as do I .... I collect bird things I personally own 6 Amy Ruppels and my daughters {and therefore grandsons} last name is Byrd so I sometimes look for bird type things to gift them.

Is anyone here into zero waste, plastic free living, urban homesteading, or any simplicity/minimalism-esque lifestyles? If so, could you use any tools or equipment? I have, on my Amazon wishlist, several items for kitchen which I consider homesteading type of things--I want to make my own soy milk so a nut bag and my own tofu so a tofu making kit. What kind of crystals would you like? those little fossilized shell looking things always grab my eyes when I see them at cons.

What kind of homemade cookies are your favorite? I like cookies in general. Oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, peanut blossoms {kiss in middle}, shortbread cookies etc. My oldest cookbook is from 1965 and is all cookies all the time. A gift from my mom and her 1st cookbook purchase once she moved to United States because she too loves cookies.
Could you use a muscle rub? (We make ours on the lunar cycle and it has menthol, wintergreen, habanero, cayenne, olive oil, st. john's wort, arnica, beeswax, calendula, and ginger. It tingles. We call it "Thunder Butter". If you have really really super sensitive skin, I would recommend against it. And don't take a hot shower or open all of your pores before using it.) I probably could but it sounds scary!
Interested in trying some of our rose petal (rose petals, sugar, everclear) or lavender vanilla bean (lavender, vanilla bean, vodka) liqueur? Those both sound super delicious.
Want some honey from the bees on our property? I am avoiding honey dear witch but I wouldn't say not to a gift from your property. My dad was a beekeeper and I know that not everybody abuses their bees.
Would you like some homemade jam? I have blackberry, rose petal, strawberry rhubarb, peach, and cherry. ACK! Cherry, Rhubarb, Peach all sound delicious. I have never had blackberry or rose petal.
How about some homemade candied jalapenos with garlic cloves? I have regular and with habanero. Also sounds good
I didn't dry any apples this year but I was thinking of heading over to Green Bluff and seeing if any honeycrisps are left. I have a commercial dehydrator so let me know if you are interested in any "Apple Crips" (as voodoocatwoman calls them!) I wash, peel, core, and slice before dehydrating. I think the apple crisps sound super delicious.
Do you need any kind of dice bag, tote, project bag, cosmetic bag, pencil bag, or whatever? I have lots of bag patterns and fabric. We make bags under the name Twinkle N Twilight.

do you like to take baths? if so, do you like oils, salts, things that fizz, all of the above, none of the above? yes on baths and especially yes on all three of these but most definitely on oils.
What style/make/etc of phone do you have? What about size of tablet? Laptop? Would you like decals, skins, or cases for any of these? I have a iPhone6 and no cover on it because I hate otterboxs which is what my husband got me when we got the phone. I spend much time on Society6 looking at cases.

See's Candy. My absolute favorite. They have special Halloween candy..any of these pique your interest?? Cinnamon Apple Scotch Mallows, Pumpkin spice truffles, pumpkinspice lollypops, caramel apple lollypops, or any other of their chocolates, etc? I want some pumpkin spice lollipops. Due to this question I have found out there are no Sees candy stores within a 6 hr drive. Boo!
Are any witchees into coloring books? I don't color although I love colored pencils. I suppose I would color if I had a coloring book

Do you like Broadway shows/music? If so what are some of your favorites and/or ones that you hope to see or listen to eventually? Would you like merch from your favorite shows or CDs from shows you want to listen to? I do enjoy musicals ala old movie musicals. My kid was just watching Phantom this Sunday evening so I know he would appreciate some of that.
I'm heading to NYCC in October! Is there anything I can get my Witchee while I'm there? the plethora of apple is a huge no for me. However there are plenty of GC items on my wishlist. Also Dorian is supposedly in stock at those things but not on site.
I'm going to Edmonton Expo this weekend (It's Edmonton's version of comic con). Would a witchee like anything from there? I am covetous of the Monstress books

Imagine you're going to the most gigantic art & craft show imaginable, and money is no object - what kind of things would you gravitate towards and probably spend money on? Include as specific as you want to get! Historically speaking I would gravitate towards pottery and baskets. Some weaving appeals to me as does woodwork.

Any additional misc. information about yourself you want your Witch to know? (I think this was on the survey, but again if there's something that you forgot...) I love elephants... and cats... and I think I said that.
If you could decorate your house (or one room) in any one theme, what would it be? Your answer can be as simple ("Star Wars" or "Baroque" or "Modern"), or complicated or a combination (e.g. Victorian Gothic) as you feel best fits. Ugh I am torn between minimalist because that clean starkness appeals to me and baroque because rich velvets and curlicues. Call me conflicted.
Aprons: Do you wear them, do you want one? Utility, decorative, cooking or crafting? I used to have this cute little apron that was a patchwork from other things in the 80's ... tied around waist and was the cute flared retro looking thing. I keep looking for a new one but I am picky-no ruffles, mid weight so not too thin, and of course I am plus sized.

It seems like there's a question about socks on the questionnaire, but I don't think it got down to this level: Do you wear them? Any particular style (crew length, knee high, anklet, boot, etc.) or fiber (wool, cotton, bamboo anything but wool, etc.) preference? I do wear socks. I knit after all. I need the anklet/hidden in shoes type for walking. My youngest prefers non hand knit knee highs and my middle and husband are spoiled by hand knit socks usual mid calf affairs. I am a wool freak.

So what are your favorite fandoms? Soooooo. Re the fandoms. I read and watch almost exclusively fan type of things. From Star Trek as a child with my dad to Buffy as a new mom and Dr Who all the time BUT I don't get fandom. I read sci-fi/fantasy especially geared towards YA {vampires/werewolves, MockingJay} Vampire porn romance is good too. My husband and I go to the local science fiction/fantasy convention and have even been to world con. My husband thinks it is funny my smells of choice are so obviously fan based because I don't get dressing up or breaking down into minutia things I enjoy. I enjoy other people costuming of course. But my eyes glaze over when people say and in this episode plot twist/hole blah blah. I don't care. I just enjoy the stuff. So I am not sure how much fan inspired anything would appeal to me. Unless you are talking Totoro then all bets are off. Maybe plusheen. Oh and I like moon and star things but those are fandoms. Well maybe Totoro and Plusheen are fan things but hey.

are you into divination? What kind(s) do you currently do? Do you want more books and/or tools for that type (e.g. new tarot cards, new runes)? Is there a new type of #divination you've been meaning to try, and if so, are you looking for the tool, a book on the subject, or both? No. I have a ton of decks I don't use. I like them for arts sake. My husband collects them as well. Since our tastes are different we do tend to have different collections
World my Witchee be interested in a Tarot or Astrology reading done personally? I had my natal chart done once but for some reason cannot find it anymore. It was done over 20 years ago and would love to have it done again. My husband studies Tarot from a historical vantage point and we both collect decks for arts sake more than divination {although he has several books on wicca so hmmmmm}

Favorite gemstones? As an Aries I am supposed to say diamonds but no. I like sapphires, garnets, emeralds, tigers eyes, my black pearls, hematite, smoky quartz.
If you enjoy jewelry do you like discrete and elegant, flashy and gaudy, small and light, or large and chunky? Well I don't think anything I own is gaudy. I like both large and clunky and discreet depending upon what it is and my mood. I once purchased battery operated earrings in Vegas and they flashed on and off but I swear they were not gaudy. I like wide rings or stacking rings.
Any love of pirates or SCA? not particularly
Is there anything you would like from Disney World? My niece works at Disney World. She always picks up a few things for me as Christmas gifts. But for some reason I don't have any Jack things. I have pink mouse ears ornament and special jewelry cases but nothing gothy... I am not sure my niece sees me the way I see me.
Are you a Potterhead? If so, to which house do you belong? You know I have done this sorting several times, enjoyed the movies but never read the books. See note along top regarding fandoms

Do you live near a Trader Joe's? If not, are you interested in trying any of the numerous Pumpkin goodies they come out with this time every year? I do live near a Trader Joes. I am headed there this weekend myself. May update.
Do you like to cook and/or bake? Could you use any specific ingredients (spices, oils, salts, extracts, etc.) or kitchen utensils/gadgets? YES! I love to cook. I have cookbooks and cooking gadgets galore on my Amazon list. Please note I do not expect anybody to buy stuff on my list it just happens to exist for sake of husband. I also am interested in a black salt that makes things taste like eggs? And other spices.

Do any of you potential Witchees have any kitties, puppers, or youngling humans you want spoiled in your packages? What treats or toys do they like? I have 2 younglings living at home. One is in college and the other is a Cat Love {hence my excite about link to tee shirts as first question because Cats} and is into Anime. Apparently there is a difference between Korean and Japanese manga. And Stuffed Animals. Black Butler books are what I got her for christmas last year.
Is there any interest in any of the fragrance oils from the Nocturne Alchemy Weenies update? I am not familiar with them really. I did get a few samples of their scents and remember liking them but I don't remember what they were. I am a floriental gal so ambers, a bit of citrus and spicy florals. Think Shalimar. Plus Jasmine Hoar. I also like sweet scents vanilla, marshmallow, sugared roses etc. But more Shalimar than sweet. Also spicy foodies are good.
Is there anything you want from the trading post (or trading post etsy) that is available to order right now? (Fatherhood, Puppers, normal GC things) TKO massage oil, most bath oils that fit my scent profile {Morocco, Snake Oil, Luxuria and Casitas if it ever comes back in stock}, I am tempted by Themyskyrin Princess even tho it contains the headache inducing death note of headaches leather, most of the pups appeal to me tho I have more hair gloss than I can use. Candles yes. Erebos is a favorite spray and I think I like the Fainting Couch as well.

Are you a gamer? If so, what games are you currently playing and is there any merch for that game you'd love to have?- I am not a gamer. I play Don't Starve on Steam with my kids. I got my kids into DnD and Necromancer and my youngest plays Minecraft so there you go.

How do you feel about the following scarf options (assuming you're into scarves)? I knit myself and have made Wisp and given it as gifts. Simple eyelet scarf YES Chevron scarf YES Lacy and fuzzy YES Skinny rib knit (extra long for lots of wrapping) Looks clunky :-( but would be nice in other yarn? Leafy! Not my favorite.
Like beer? What styles most appeal to you? Strawberry hard cider/ale/beer with a definite sweet strawberry vibe not the hops harshness.
Like booze? What kinds? sweet ones-I want to try the vegan Baileys, Frangelico is a favorite
Like Wine? What kinds? yes sweet or desert wines. My husband finds them undrinkable but whatevs. I don't drink his swill ;-)
Would you be interested in a set of hand-made hair falls? It's something I do for fun and I can make any length and do an array of colors! I have never worn any.
For those who watch certain movies every year for Halloween, what are those movies, whether horror or not? Any favorite horror movies that aren't necessarily on the annual-viewing list? How do you feel about fan-made merch for these movies? I don't think I have an annual movie we watch. When the kids were little we did but it was something on disney and I forget.

Here's a great local soapmaker I love--y'all see anything you would like? https://littleseedfarm.com/ I only use hand crafted type of soaps being a former soap maker myself. I think I mentioned being prone to eczema so the cold process soaps are naturally better for my skin than commercial soaps.
What are your favorite/preferred Halloween/autumn icons/images? Any to specifically stay away from? Cute/Sexy witches not the warty crone witches and moons and bats but no skeletons. Kitch-y cute
Do you eat candy, and if so would Halloween candy be welcome? Specialty candy from local or unusual sources? Chocolate? I eat candy but just recently transitioned to being vegan so not sure how much chocolate-y goodness I can eat. I do not mind sugar being non vegan but the milk chocolate and caramel and toffees are gone from my life. Mores the pity because those were my favorites.
Do you want Fidget spinners, desk toys, or other frivolous things that you look at and decide you don't need enough to spend $ on but would make you happy to have? I have a few thumb fidget puppets--the things that collapse when you press on bottom. They need replacing since they are really old and my children tore of giraffe ears and sadness.
Any zentangle lovers, people who would like to try it, or would you want a piece of someone else's zentangle art? I had to google that! Yes to somebody else's art.
Any love of hair toys, clips, ribbons, fascinators, mini hats, etc? I like barrettes and clips. Pretty standard I guess.
What local goodies may be of interest? Local Honey, jams,candy? Honey is out due to Vegan bit and I think candies can be tricky but I am happy to try something local to my witch.

Do you prefer reading on Kindle or actual book? What kind of books do you like? Would you like to be surprised with a scary, classic, horror book? Actual paper books. I am fond of mysteries.
Candles, Incense, or wax tarts? Do you have favorite brands or Weenies scents for the home? Would you like to receive a wax tarts burner, incense burner, essential oils diffuser, or Halloweenie themed candle holders? I am a candle person. I like foodies for candles or amber type of things that invoke warmth to me. I don't burn incense because it bothers my kids. I no longer own an oil diffuser.

if you were to receive something hand knit, what type of item would you like? hat, cowl, handwarmers, etc. and what color(s)?
- would you use knitted washcloths? a scarf? Are you allergic or sensitive to any fibers? I would love a washcloth or two ... I don't knit with cotton or linen and those items usually are cotton or linen. I am a knitter. Blue and white work best for household things.

Do you like and/or want anything from Elements and Artifacts? You can be vague like "yes" or "no" or name specific past pieces you coveted or current ones you love, whatever works best. I do like her jewelry and favorited a card.
Would you like something hand sewn by your Witch? A dress, shirt, skirt, infinity scarf, something else? I am particularly fond of wrap skirts. Unfortunately I am of the larger variety so even tho I *think* they are simple to make there is some yardage involved. But I am a huge fan of slow fashion. In my dreams I would be a sewer and able to fully participate in Seam Allowance which calls for 25% of your wardrobe to be hand made. Are there any hobbies or crafts you've been thinking of trying, but haven't had the chance yet? I have been knitting for over 42 years and really just don't do other crafts. I do have some spindles and a book on tatting. Some beads but I don't really do them. I do wish I could sew and have asked a friend to teach me.
Would you want to receive a custom spell kit or magical tea? If so, what purpose would you want it to be for? yes--I find myself in that middle aged filled with regret, how did I get here, angry mode. A wee bit of peace would be nice. Job hunting mojo even better.
Do you like poetry? Yes. Currently coveting Rupi Kaur, both her current and upcoming books are on my Amazon shopping list.
Anyone like handmade critters, stuffed animals, or custom repaints? I have a few plushies.... just a few. Not too many.
Would you enjoy any designer/specialty yarn for your own craftiness? I do have several patterns on my wishlist on Ravelry. I think Ysolda dominates right now {her last two vests are in my queue} and I appreciate most natural fiber yarns in the lace to fingering weight. I love shetland yarns and stockpile those.
Would anyone like a donation made in their name to a cause or charity? Yes. Southern Poverty Law or Planned Parenthood.

Are there any UK things you'd like to get? Yes. I sometimes order books from UK because the illustrations are different. I covet dead or red mary jane shoes but I wouldn't dare dream of shoes. Also yarns because in my head the other side of the pond is flooded with lovely yarns. I am sure knitters from overseas feel the same way.
Are you into podcasts? If so, what are your favorites? Would you like any merch related to any of them? I don't really listen to podcasts. Occasionally I go online and listen to The Political Junkie. I am more likely to read the websites than listen to podcasts. For example I follow Reading Women on insta, and get their newsletter inboxed to me but do not listen to their podcast.
Would you like something from Nui Cobalt Designs (https://nuicobaltdesigns.com/)? Generally candles, soaps and body creams are safe bets. I am a bath taker as well.

Do you enjoy stationery? I'm thinking cute/quality notebooks, washi tape, stickers, fun pens etc. I think washi tape is adorables. I like colored pencils and pens {purple!}, and blank notebooks or lined notebooks or gridded notebooks. Oh Okay. Send me all the notebooks
Are you interested in anything from Cocoa Pink? I have never tried them but I have eczema and any body butter, whipped or otherwise, from practically anywhere is appreciated always.

Are you interested in anything from the Moonalisa Halloween update? So Many lovely sounding scents. Mind boggled.
What are your coffee and/or tea preferences? I rarely drink either but I like both. And of course hot chocolate
- Coffee: whole beans or ground? I prefer ground but my husband prefers beas
- Flavor and roast preferences? hazelnut, french vanilla--those sweetie types. Medium roast I guess.
- Tea: black, green, herbal, flavors? Flavored. Orange spice used to be my jam. I do like various types rooibos, green, etc. Flavors.

- Are you in need of any gadgetry? If you are called to send me loose tea one of those tea balls... I used to have one but it disappeared so I have been strictly bag ever since. But I am not opposed to loose teas.

How would you feel about receiving a hand-painted container for your bpal and/or other treasures?
- would you want a big wood box (~50 bottles), a small wood box (~20 bottles) or a tin for carrying imps around? I do enjoy tins. I have a lovely Honey Altoids tin I won in a FB contest. It is perfect for carrying around some imps.

- What are your faves if you are? I am wicked into toners. I have a wee collection of them. On my current covet list are the ceramide containing toners recently blogged about by Vanity Rex. I am very interested in trying various masks I have read about on blogs. Most masks are inexpensive so I don't order just them because nope to the free shipping and my toner and lotion habit means I tend to push my budget without adding on an extra item.

What are your feelings about Scooby Doo? I like Scooby... who doesn't? I am not sure how I feel about scooby themed things tho... I am a weird fan and will make a helpful post regarding my fandom
How do you feel about indie makeup (read: loose eyeshadow, blush, highlighter)? I am interested in the Ritual de Fille stuff {mainly lipstick} and buy tons of indie nail polish. I have never utilized loose pigments and don't wear many cosmetics generally speaking. Nail polish, mascara, lipstick is my usual look

Put on Yggdrasil and it is not at all what I expected. I read the reviews and it seems that people got pine sol from it. It is very light... maybe because it follows Satyr. I keep getting hints of lemon from my wrists. On my inner elbows and décolletage I am getting a bit of toilet bowl cleaner smell but I am not sure... it isn't in your face cleaner smelling but just that vibe. Mind you I use a nicely scented toilet bowl cleaner from Method that is supposed to be mint and eucalyptus. Either way I did not expect lemon. I usually avoid herbal green forest scents but I can imagine this in the summertime..... it is very light and refreshing. Will update before I go to bed
