wilhelmscream Report post Posted June 18 Rather surprising, because I went in expecting something like a spicy cucumber salad? And that is not what this is! It's more clove forward, with a cool, watery green base to it all, almost like a "fresh" cologne note under all that spice.
Jacquesroach Report post Posted June 30 (edited) I recently relocated to a city with hot, muggy summers, and suddenly most of my everyday staples (think spicy, nutty vanillas) feel too heavy. Enter this weird little duet! Now I get to have my precious clove year round, because the cucumber adds a cooling element, the way cucumber water feels more refreshing than water alone. It’s still mostly about the clove- spicy, smoky- but with a subtle but unmistakable cucumber backdrop. Not a ton of longevity, but in my experience, clove gets stronger with time, so i’m optimistic. Works better than you’d think! If you’re on the fence, I say go for it! Edited June 30 by Jacquesroach
kittystryker Report post Posted July 1 Ooooh I like this one a lot! The cucumber is cool and fresh and juicy, and the clove is spicy and sharp. Once you smell them together, you're like, oh, yeah, of course these two go together.
