    Brass Balls

This smells like Lush's disconned Elixir bath melt. I can't remember what was in it but some sort of cinammon or clove is present. It smells quite strong so I won't be using much! I will update with how it works when I have used it. I imagine that I will anoint myself before going into a social situation.

    Peace

There's a lot of lavendar in here and something else like rose or geranium which makes it a lovely soft smell. I can imagine a calm, peaceful and cosy living room in the evening when smelling this. As others have said it doesn't make me feel sleepy, it just makes me feel calm. I may have to keep this by my bed for use when my mind what stop fretting during the night! I will update with how it works when I have used it. I imagine that I will anoint a candle and have it burning in the house.

    Concentration

This smells exactly like lemon green tea, I can see why that would help you to concentrate. I will update with how it works when I have used it. I imagine that I will anoint myself before doing something that needs extra focus.

    Hymn to Pan

This smells like citrus jellybabies or skittles with a kick of redbull! This will definately wake you up and get your brain going. My mouth is watering. I may try this later before I have a play with my bass. I will update with how it works when I have used it. I imagine that I will anoint myself before doing something creative.

    LaFlamme

I can smell something deep almost like orange and dark chocolate with a boozy smell, it's not a thick smell though, just deep. Reading other reviews I can pick out the rose now. It smells gorgeous and I can't wait to use it. I will update with how it works when I have used it. I imagine that I will anoint myself and visualise how I want to be perceived.

    Temple: Egyptian

Wow, the smell instantly brought to my mind Ancient Egyptian tarot deck, I saw lots of the images from the deck and the smell seemed to merge beautifully with them. I will definately test this out when I read from that deck. I can pick out a slightly foody note, a slightly boozy note and a lavendar note. I will update with how it works when I have used it.

    Temple: Angelic

This smells a teeny bit like resin, a teeny bit like cake, and a teeny bit like medicine. It's a very nice smell I'm guessing it has sandalwood and florals in it. I will update with how it works when I have used it. I imagine that I will anoint myself and meditate.

    Bakeneko

I discovered this in my swap pile but haven't reviewed it. I can't seem to describe the scent. Fresh of the yellowy/green colour variety (for those of you who can smell with colour). It's almost fruity but is too fresh to turn sweet, maybe more like rinds or peels. This isn't doing much of anything on my skin but maybe the oranges are creeping out. As it dries it gets zestier with a bit of tea creeping out. I think it will stay in my swap pile.

    Cairo

I discovered this in my swap pile but haven't reviewed it. In the imp I smell sharp fruit tea and body sweat. I can see why this is in the swap pile. I won't be putting it on my skin and I won't be moving it from the pile.

    Dragon's Eye

I have this in my swap pile but have never rated it. Giving the imp a sniff I can smell floral soaps, eek! Some of this has gotten on my finger and I want to sneeze. I'm not even going to test it on my wrist. Far too sharp and soapy.

    Nephilim

I found this imp in my stash. I have no idea when I bought it of if it was a frimp. I have written "incense" on the label so can assume that I wasn't too impressed, but why did I keep it? The imp smells like cold incense. Ah vertivert, I amp it and it is here and wet, yuk! It's warming up as it dries but it's just not doing anything for me. swap pile.

    Zombi

This is such an odd blend! It really does make me think of a zombi. When wet on me it smells the same as in the imp. The fresh earth is strong, and the flowers are in the background. It's like I am sitting near a grave that has a flowering plant growing on/near it, but the zombi has just pulled himself out of his grave. As the scent dries the earth calms down and the flowers come out. The zombi is slowly walking away from the grave and I am left behind by the flowering plant. By the time the perfume has dried the zombi is far away and all that remains is the empty grave and the flowering plant. I do like this scent, I just wish that I was following the zombi instead of stuck by the plant. I'll keep hold of this to see how it ages.

    Magus

Frimp. I couldn't pick out any notes when sniffing the imp, just a slightly soft, fruity, perfumey smell. When on, from wet to drydown it didn't change very much. It's very soft and nondescript really. I'm not fussed at all. Looking at the notes I can now pick out the cedar when sniffing, but this isn't a scent that I'm bothered about.

    Velvet

This really should have worked on me, the notes work well on me, but I suppose not in this combination. It smelled like a lovely spicy, bitter chocolate in the imp. When on it smelled of dusty chocolate and incense. As it dried the incense started to take over and by the time it was dry the chocolate had disappeared and all that remained was generic candle incense. Very odd and will be going in the swap pile.

    Gypsy

I took a gamble with this one, I like vanilla but was unsure about the other scents. In the bottle I can smell all of the notes, it slightly reminds me of a type of barfi (Indian sweet made with milk, sugar and sometimes spices), very nice! The scent is a lovely warm vanilla, just the right mixture of spice and sugar. It reminds me of my other favourites; snake oil, penny dreadful, dragon's milk etc, that same warm sweetness. It's not as strong as the others but I really really like it. This is a very comforting smell, and about as bakery as I can go (ie. not very much)

    Whip

I adore rose and leather scents and amp both of them so I had high hopes of this scent. When sniffing the bottle I smell a rose in a garden centre. The garden centre smell being a slight whiff of green plants, compost, garden supplies, concrete etc. No leather, just garden centre rose. It's very strong. I put it on and this doesn't change. I tried wiping it off but the smell still lasted all day! I can't believe that the leather didn't come through, I can only assume that I amp both separately, but when they come together rose wins the battle. I like rose scents but not this one, it's too strong and crisp, nothing sweet or romantic about it at all, purely botanical.

    The Ghost

Frimp. In the bottle I can smell bleach, shampoo, and apples. Once on the flowers are coming out (delphinium is prominent I believe), then the bleach appears making the blend smell like a toilet that's just had a floral aerosol sprayed into it (that sounds worse than it actually smells!) The smell gets softer and softer and eventually disappears, very ghost-like! It lives up to it's name but I won't be wearing it again.

    Alice

I've been wanting to try this for a little while due to the milk, honey and rose scents. In the bottle I can smell the flowers that have been dropped into milk laced with honey. This smell exactly like an orange and honey beeswax cream that I own, such a lovely sweet smell! I had a cold when I wore this so I may come back and edit this when I am well and try again. From what I can remember the smell was very nice, light and sweet. A lovely positive smell that wasn't sickly sweet. However it only lasted a couple of hours on me (either that or my cold got worse). I'm looking forward to trying this one again as it is a delightful blend.

    Dragon's Milk

I've been putting off trying this for years due to my experience with Dragon's Blood (we didn't get on too well). However I am so so glad that I finally gave this a chance. I expected to smell the same sharp spicy tang of Dragon's Blood but instead I smell a slightly creamy vanilla that's been sprinkled with a hint of spice. This is not too sweet and not too spicy. I couldn't believe my nose when I put this on though. It smells exactly like Snake Oil and Antique Lace combined!!! I wear this combo during the day when Snake Oil is just too heavy. This scent stayed true all day. I am so over the moon. I haven't been able to wear this combo as I have been saving my poor half imp of Antique Lace, but I can now resume this practise thanks to Dragon's Milk. I am so sorry to have shyed away from you all this time

    The Robotic Scarab

Frimp The smell from the bottle is making my mouth water , it's reminiding me of the smell of my boyfriend's hair right after he's washed with Head & Shoulders. I can't even begin to imagine what notes are making that smell?? This is my first experience with metallic and lubricant oil scents so I am not sure what they are meant to smell like, or how they will turn on me. This didn't stay very strong on me and pretty much remained a non-descript head & shoulders sort of smell on me. Odd, but I'm glad I got to try something different.

    Defututa

I don't normally try blends with a lot of scents in them as they tend to turn into a fight on my wrist, however I love jasmine, vanilla and sandalwood so wanted to give this one a go. In the bottle I can smell jasmine and jelly babies! Definately jelly babies because the smell is fruity (champaca flowers, olive blossom?) with a powdry icing sugar smell (smoky vanilla?), very odd! When I put this on I still smelled jelly babies underneath but the jasmine had merged with the smokey vanilla to smell just like Lush's Silky Underwear, very nice. That didn't last long though and I ended up with a slight jelly baby smell for the rest of the day. I was working in the garden (clearing up some pesky cat's poop) and was delighted to be able to smell the perfume instead of the constant smell of cat toilet (I have to chase the bleeder away whenever I see him, damn him and his cute little face). However it's not a scent I am particularly keen on, it's nice enough but I can't see a time when a jelly baby smell would ever be called for!

    Cathedral

Frimp In the bottle I smell and odd mixture of sweet/spicy/cold incense, very strange! I put this on and took a sniff. I was quite amazed that the smell indeed made me picture a Cathedral. I'm not getting the wood notes that others are. Normally incense just turns to a generic pungent spicy smell on me. However this smelled of church incense that is wafting through a large, cold, empty space. Very clever! I very much doubt I will wear this again, although I can see me wearing it when I go to take photos of old Churches, it is very atmospheric.

    Banned in Boston

In the bottle I can smell a sharp but not too sweet scent. It actually reminds me of the smell of cherry liquorice (which doesn't smell much like cherry), I think that may be the booze. I'm also getting a whiff of the tobacco which is cutting through any sweetness. But when I put it on I smell like a sweaty so-and-so! That slightly sharp spicyness of sweat is all I can smell. Sorry, but I spend enough money on trying to NOT smell of sweat - swap pile! (This begs the question of why I tried a sweat-scented perfume in the first place. I was curious )

    Kroenen

In the imp I can smell labdanum pretty strongly! On and wet I can still smell the labdanum. The leather is coming through as it dries. I seem to amp leather, normally it drives me crazy (in a good way), but there's something stopping it, I guess it's the labdanum. It's quite resiny and I doubt I'll wear it again.

    Falling Leaf Moon

In the imp it smells slightly sharp but definatelyreminds me of brown leaves on an autumn day. On and wet I can smell the patchouli but I don't know the other scents well enough to be able to recognise them. It's turning slightly incensy but not in a spicy way. I think maybe it's the oakmoss. It's just a bit too incensy for my liking.
