As soon as I put this on I liked it, but it smelled a little powdery to me. I couldn't remember what it was SUPPOSED to smell like then after looking at the description I realized it was the incense I thought was powdery. I worked up a little bit of a sweat working in the yard and my skin heated the scent up and it wasn't anything close to powdery anymore. Metal and sage are what I smell now. Its really really good.

I get the tea and honey mostly with this one, sometimes pepper. I reallly like it. My guy said I smelled really good and I had not alerted him that I was going to be getting any perfume (so I wasnt fishing for compliments! ) Its a nice warm scent but I'm perfectly happy with it in the summer. Its light enough for warm weather, I prefer fuller bodied scents for the fall and winter. I ordered a whole bottle yesterday : )

Initial scent is warm butterscotch, after application it settles into the Irish Coffee smell but I don't smell any books. When I get to work a guy comes up to me and says I smell like his Uncles Library in the summer. Thats a pretty good sign although I don't smell that yet. After maybe 4 hours I begin to smell the books! Ill have to wear it a few more times to decide if I want a full size or not, but generally, I like it.

In the Imp : Oh wow I was knocked back and I can only think of this basement I was in recently for the filming of a short film for a local film fest. This basement was closed up for who knows how many years that the one time bakery has stood unoccupied. I date the building at around 1905 since thats about the same as every other building 'round here but it could be older. The floor was moist loose soil and the ceiling so low I was hunched over to keep my hair away from the many cobwebs. descending the stairs to that basement the smell hits you like a brick wall. This first whiff was like de ja vu. On Skin: The initial basement smell is faded and now its all roses to me. Musty roses. Roses that came out of the aforementioned basement. I'm oddly attracted to it though. After drying: It still smells like roses. and it still smells musty. I think its psychological cause I can't get over the initial basement smell. Every time I sniff my arm it smells more like flowers and epitaphs and less like that basement. I still cant justify getting more of it though. A few days later.. I wore this to work on a hot day and I very much enjoyed the damp underground smell it put off it was very refreshing.
