    Niflheim

Niflheim yellow oil Imp: Ozonic, wet and bitterly sweet. Skin: While wet, its very aquatic and ozony. The bitterness and sweetness has a feeling close to medical alcohol. As it dries, this smells damp, foggy, and has a "Moist soil" element to it. The type of Moist soil close to being muddy. Strangely, the wetness and bitterness amped for about 10minutes after the oil set in, and then turned into a mild floral that was wet and airy. As it dries, the flowers get airier and airier until its almost gone, and I get a hint of a herb and incense. The wet soil smell stays in the base till the end. Its not a happy scent, it has a murky atmosphere to it.

    Hymn

Hymn yellow oil frImp (Thank you!) : Sweet, fresh Lily and Rose. Perfumy. Skin: It immedietely got floury. I just know the Lily's the culprit doing this to me. Oh Phooey, this was so nice in the imp too, I'm sad. The resins amp the flouriness, which doesn't help, but the rose is a very gorgeous one that doesn't have an oldish smell. So I wore it for a day anyway. The flouriness fades to an acceptable level, much to my happiness, after an hour. The ending was similar to Endymions, but more rosy, warmer and deeper in a perfumy way. Its a very soft and gentle scent, I can imagine it smelling absolutely lovely on someone that can wear it with both florals clear. Smells like a well-behaved young lady that would go to church wearing a white hat.

    Thanatos

Thanatos yellow oil Imp: Mossy and woody, and a bit like mens cologne. Skin: While the oil is still wet, its dry, sharp and unpleasant. But as soon as it dries it turns into a complex sandalwood incense that is softly sweet. I'm not usually enthusiastic on incense, but I found this so interesting I keep on trying it now and then just to see if I love it or not. On me, the dryness isn't a powdery dryness but a solid one, like a big block of firewood, which is a plus point. The sweetness is what makes this scent so complex; its subtle, and even herby by the way it lingers in the back of my nose when I suck it in deeply. I noticed later that it must come from the rose, but its blended in so well with everything else, I don't think I would have noticed without looking at the descriptions. The scent did not change even after half a day, very stable. A fragrant oriental wood scent that is gender neutral. If you like incense, Thanatos shouldn't be missed.

    Loviatar

Loviatar The Finnish Goddess of Agony, Torment and the joy found in inflicting pain on others. The Mistress of Torture, she has transformed in the modern era into the patron Goddess of Dominatrixes. The slap of slick, hot leather punctuates the warm, sensual embrace of black amber, red musk and dark, lascivious myrrh. orange-brown oil frImp (Thank you!) : Smells like a department store brand mans cologne. A bit grainy. Skin: The leather is the main note. The amber makes it warm and faintly sweet, the musk makes it smoky, and the myrrh makes it a bit woody. It's very leather, but not a manly leather. Smells like a womans leather. Later the leather fades and the myrhh and musk take over. Its very dry in the end. Its quite powerful, smells tough and resiny. Unlike Wanda, this is a hardcore dominatrix. She's there to inflict the pain, and its for her pleasure, not his.

    Dracul

Dracul dark orange oil Imp: Smells cool and green, like being in a forest, and bitter. Skin: Not bitter, but sweet. The mint is not sharp but glowing. Its quite a refreshing scent, very clear. Its a fir forest in a bottle, with all the other notes there to accessorize the fir. As it dries the spices come up more, I especially get the clove. After half a day, the mint fades and a musky, spicy, woody scent remains. I like the way the mint works in this one, its just right. Cool and breezy. Its a guys scent, in a sporty way.Smells like someone who would play golf.

    Nyx

Nyx deep yellow oil Imp: A cooling, sweet jasmine. Skin: Went a bit bitter, floury, and the jasmine smelt much stronger than it did in the imp. As soon as the oil seeped in, the rose bloomed, mellowing the scent. The bitterness is gone, and the florals are softer. Now its a half jasmine, half rose scent that is not too strong. The myrrh is just enough to hold the flowers together. Somehow I get a flouriness in this. Not powdery, but floury. Like trying to dilute the scent with flour. Still, its quite sweet. I didn't think it was dark either. Its medium, if I were to describe if it was sunny or dark. It didn't have much throw, but even after the oil had dried completely, the scent was distinct and lasted a long time. I like the name, it rhymes with mine, but the scent isn't my lingo.

    Gomorrah

Gomorrah pale orange oil Imp: Aquatic and bitter. Skin: Completely bitter in the beginning, although it does get sweeter and herbier as it dries. There is something chalky about it, not aquatic at all - which makes the bitterness "gritty". Its not what I expected; I was hoping to smell more of the fruit, especially the date, but it was bitter herb more than anything. Later on it also develops a earthiness. Its a very dry earth, not the moist soil type, but the crumbly, crusty type. There also is a woody feel about it too. This didn't work for me. Too bitter, too dry, too pulverulent.

    Blood Rose

Blood Rose (brown oil) Imp: A juicy, winy sweet rose Skin: While wet, it was a strong, powdery-winey rose on my skin. as soon as the oil set in, the powder cleared up, and its a wet-and-winey rose. The wine and rose work very well together. The sweetness isn't cloying and the rose has a depth that I would expect from a red rose. As it dries I could occasionally smell something sharp and dry in the back, probably the dragons blood resin, that I wasn't fond of much. It pops up every now and then, but most of the time the scent stayed wet and juicy. I thought this would become over-powering from the impression I got from the imp, but it wasn't so. The scent wafts around gently, so I catch a faint whiff now and then. I liked this rose, it doesn't turn grannyish at all. ----added---- I can't believe how this scent has grown on me. After carrying it around, the plastic cap of my imp cracked, the oil has oxidized quickly and now I definitely smell the dragons blood resin! Its sharp, dry and hot. And, I like it. It doesn't turn into powder on me, I'm glad to know that DBR is something that works with my skin. The lab-fresh imp smelled divine, but this smells even better. Its juicy rose with a kick. A 5ml is definite in the future.

    Mad Hatter

A gentlemen's lavender-citron cologne unhinged by the feral pungence of black musk and a paroxysm of pennyroyal. Mad Hatter light yellow oil Imp: Thin Mints with no chocolate. Skin: Initially the pennyroyal is so strong, I can just barely sniff the cologne. This makes me feel like I've just brushed my teeth. After the oil sets in, I can smell a bit of the musk. I'm not that fond of musks, but I don't mind this at all. Paired with the pennyroyal, its quite refreshing. The lavender-citron cologne stays faintly in the back all the way. The mint morphs as the oil dries. It first becomes thin mints with no chocolate, than it becomes like a mild toothpaste. Once it dries down completely, the musk is the dominant note, with the cologne still obediently sitting in the back.

    White Rabbit

White Rabbit pale yellow oil Imp: Sweet like O, but with a more airy feel. Skin: The honey comes forward the most, with the black tea in the back. I can also smell a trace of pepper in it, but not the ginger. This is very sweet on me, it reminds me of O a lot. The honey is so similar. I hoped it would smell like chai but it didnt....The clean linen scent comes out and sits with the tea in the background after 15minutes or so, than slowly creeps forward to join the honey, un-gourmanding the scent so its half-yummy and half-clean. As it dries down the scent becomes fainter, and I am left with a very soft sweet honey floral which I can't smell unless I poke my nose at it. White rabbit doesn't stay long, he runs away quickly!

    Santa Muerte

Santa Muerte yellow oil Imp: Bleaaaaargh!! OLD SOCKS! Nutty old socks. Actually no, even my old socks smell better. Skin: Oh wow, this is a morpher. The old sock scent's there for the first two minutes, being nutty and choking, but after waiting a while, it goes clear. It becomes a watery, sweet scent. Like having a glass of water in a garden. There is almost an astringent feel to this. Its cooling in that way, but its also warm. It gets a bit sharp and gains a bitterness after a while, then later dries down to an airy, sweet wet floral. I don't know enough of cactus flower to say what I'm actually smelling, but I can't pick out the rose or the chrysanthemum, which is usually pretty obvious on me. Its such a puzzling scent. This was really different. I won't get a 5ml, but it was definitely worth sniffing. *edited to add* now my imp has aged a bit, I definitely get the mums now. yum. still such a unique smelly. Initial nuttiness has also diminished.

    Moon Rose

Moon Rose almost transparent pale yellow oil Imp: ROSE! Skin: It smells like a wet rose slowly drying. I mean it really smells wet in the beginning but then gets drier and drier. I didn't get the moonflower till an hour later, its peaks out now and then, but only faintly. The rose is the strongest. Although the wetness changes as time passes, the scent itself doesn't morph much. A simple rose, smells hygenic like coming out of a shower after using a rose scented soap.

    Asphodel

Asphodel bright pale yellow oil Imp: A clean, sweet transparent floral scent. Skin: It turned a wee bit dusty, despite the clear smell from the Imp. I'm guessing theres a type of lily in it, perhaps even a musk? Its a light, sweet, soft floral that is heavier than a regular white bouquet. "Old babypowder" is the image I get. Its not a morpher, it stays the same till the end. Its pretty, I can't say much else.

    Severin

Severin translucent oil Imp: limey, citrus scent. Skin: The opening is Earlgrey tea, with a strong tang of bergamot. Then it turns into a mens-cologne like smell, probably the leather doing that. It does smell very polished and has that "company executive" feel to it. Once it hits this stage, it doesn't morph anymore. It stays as Earlgrey tea gone gym-training. It may smell good on a man but I don't see a woman wearing it - I find it very masculine. It works well with Wanda side by side, which is nice.

    Wanda

Wanda light yellow oil Imp: Fruity, Robust, and cloyingly sweet. Skin: The wine and leather are the notes I notice most. At first the scents smell jumbled up, but they meld together very quickly, making a warm, sweet scent. Its like wine candy sitting on a leather wrapper. Second stage: The florals come out and mix with the wine, as the merlot goes weaker. The scent gets musky too. Last stage: The leather fades, but never leaves entirely like the wine, so I'm left with a musky floral scent that has a certain thickness to it. Wanda stayed sweet and warm throughout, but it is definitely a dominatrix scent, not hard-core but tastefully kinky. I'm not fond of leather, or being musky, so I can't say I want a 5ml. But overall its an interesting blend, and I'm glad I tried it.

    Midnight

Midnight yellow oil Imp: Floral, and a bit sour. Skin: Sharply sour at first, but morphs into a bouquet quickly. Slightly soapy, and slightly powdery. Like "The Unicorn" cut the soda, turned dark and got a bite. I do get that jasmine-but-not-jasmine feel too. There is a faint sourness in the background, giving it a certain sharpness. As time goes by it mellows, becoming softer, dustier and more ghostly. The sourness fades also, making the scent prettier. Its a dim scent, but I wouldn't call it heavy. Despite being a fragrant floral, it stays relatively close to skin. Someone looking for a un-innocent white bouquet may like this.

    March Hare

March Hare transparent oil frImp (Thank you!) : Syrupy sweet apricot. Skin: Warm apricot. Its juicy, sweet and tart. The clove needs some time to come out fully, about 5minutes, after that its apricot pastry without the pie crust. This warm apriclove stays stable right till the end. Its a staight forward scent, people will rarely find it offensive. It does smell like christmas, where you've got candles and hot cider and pastries and you're sitting by the fire. Not my style to wear this, but I do find the scent comforting. I imagine a lot of people will like this for winter.

    The Queen of Hearts

Queen of hearts yellow oil frImp (Thank you!) : screams Almonds! Marzipan! Cherry! Skin: For the first minute it had a sweet cherry marzipan smell which I got frightened of. But then it bloomed into a beautiful, feminine perfume, quite heady and sweet. Then it started getting dusty...... oh no, lily, is that you? Lilies turn dusty and powdery on my skin, and sure enough, it rapidly turned into powder within an hour. Thats such a pity though, because it really was beautiful when it just passed its marzipan state. After half a day, the powder is weaker, and more transparent. By then the cherry is gone, so it smells simply of lily. Its a prissy floral, which I could have enjoyed if I didn't go dusty. It doesn't smell dark or heavy, but needs light application - it wafts everywhere, and lasts a long time. Darn my skin chemistry, I definitely would have bought a 5ml if it weren't for it.

    The Unicorn

The Unicorn almost translucent yellow oil Imp: The image I got was rubber dipped in astringent. It has a synthetic feel to it. Skin: Its starts of with a airy, soapy, soda-like smell. Like you've just opened a can of Sprite. Very refreshing!..for the first two minutes. Afterthat, it warms up and becomes sweeter. The airy feel goes away, and its Soda-soap with flowers. Its mild, only faintly powdery, and has a surprisingly warm feel. I didn't get a herbly impression but I guess its in there, because this doesn't smell like a white flower bouquet at all. In the end the soapiness fades, and I smell pleasantly light, sweet and warm but can't pick out any obvious flowers. I wouldn't know if this is girly or feminine. It isn't manly either. More like a little child thats just seen a fairy.

    Laudanum

Laudanum Bottle: smells slightly menthol and mediciny, like the stuff we use for soothing muscle cramps. Skin: Smells like Rootbeer on medication. I like this. It smells healthy and unhealthy at the same time. Its faintly sweet, I think I'm going on high, I want to drink this stuff and choke dead on it. It starts getting smoky. Mr.Rootbeer decided to go to the opium den. He smokes there for hours on end, until every cell in his body reeks of smoke. Thats how it ends - very dry smoke, with a very light tracing of nutmeg and Rootbeer conscience. This is addictive. The smoke in the end isn't exactly pleasant, no one's going to brush up to me saying "you smell nice", its more likely going to be "Are you okay?" The answer is no I'm not, I'm taking Laudanum and I'm taking it again tonight and tomorrow and twice on Saturday mornings.

    O

O transparent oil Imp: Smells sweet like honey with a bit of a cough-syrup. Skin: Cough syrup at first, but that fades in about 3 minutes. It becomes a very warm, honey scent. I can smell the vanilla in it, and overall, the sweetness is like that of caramel. It doesn't change much after that, just turns softer. O stays very close to the skin, it doesn't waft around like florals would. Despite the strong sweet smell from the Imp, its subtle on application, as if you've been dusted lightly with honey powder. Poeple have to come up close to smell it. It also lasts quite long too. I can't imagine wearing it to work or going shopping in it, its a suite-room bedside scent. I won't get a bottle, but the imp will be fun while it lasts. *ahem ahem* Note: It has to be applied on dry, scentless skin. Smells quite different, if sometimes bitter otherwise.

    Endymion

Endymion light yellow oil Imp: Pungent like laundry detergent, smells of pear and florals. True to its content description. Skin: Starts with a fresh pear. Juicy, clean, delicious. Its a light hearted scent. Within 10minutes the florals start showing. It turns much sweeter, but keeps the initial light, clean feel. Very pretty! This turns a bit soapy after an hour, as the Lily gets stronger. The scent gradually gets more and more opaque, and in the end, I am left with a dusty, soft powder of Lily and musk. Overall it is a beautiful scent. It is feminine, not girly, and the nectaresque sweetness carries very well, so a light application will be enough. I loved the pear in the beginning, but don't like the dusty end. I need more time to decide if i want a big bottle.
