Out the bottle this is a very strong blast of spiced rum, very rich and sweet and for the first few minutes of drydown the brown sugar note is very strong as well. The resins come through for me quite quickly after though, and soften the blend considerably. It dries down to a sweet, soft brown musk that sticks close to the skin. It's close to a low-key caramel coffee scent, which is very exciting for me as I never have any luck with actual coffee and caramel notes!
