    Kumiho

Ooh, strong ginger and white tea! I like it. The ginger is pleasant and not at all offensive like ginger notes usually are to my nose. Lovely floral!

    Inferno

After reading people's warnings about how this scent can burn the skin, I put some on my Rabbit scent locket. Don't want to risk getting burned at the moment! Strange. Usually it takes a moment for my scent locket to heat up on my skin. This one got hot after about 5 minutes. It's not burning luckily. On the locket my frimp smells like strong cinnamon and nutty... I suppose that is the almond bit. Not a bad one. Not sure I'll get a big bottle of this. Frimp will do for now.

    Apatrophia

Hmmh, quite a spicy scent. On my skin it smells like spicy musk with something... citrusy? Reminds me of some kind of medicine I've used when sick or something. Cannot quite describe what I'm smelling when it's wet on skin. Not bad at all. From wearing it previously, I can say that after the scent has dried, on my skin it smells mostly like white cedar and peppermint. I can't smell orange blossom at all in this. Peppermint and lime are more apparent. Funky scent.

    Frostbitten Sin

First of all, can we talk about the cool name :D. Frostbitten Sin. I have to admit that I got this one because of the name. A risky move that turned out to be a good one. I tested out Sin and Frostbitten Sin. Personally I prefer FS since it smells lighter on my skin. My imp of regular Sin is a bit too heavy on me. Cinnamon is especially strong in that one and I am not really a fan of it. I haven't had the chance to test Snow White itself yet, so I'll have to update this post when I do. Reading everyone's comments about how FS is pretty much SW, makes me feel confident about possibly loving Snow White when I get it. There is an air of mystery in FS. Absolutely loving the frost note. I can smell Sin in there too but it's not overwhelming. The frost note might be Snow White and Sin definitely compliment each other here. I'll have to give Sin another chance at some point. What I appreciate about BPAL scents is how complex they are. It's so easy to say that something smells off rather than dig deeper and try to seek out what scents work and don't work.

    The Great Basin

Strong, definitely white musk scent. Smells clean and "light". I get quite vivid thoughts about this being almost like a nice floral, yet musky flower. Pleasant. I don't wear white musk scents much, but I can definitely see myself wearing this one more often. Maybe in a scent locket though. Something about the oil makes my skin itch. I haven't had an allergic reaction to this one, but I suppose the thickness of the oil makes my skin itch?

The Elephant is Slow to Mate

Such a romantic cherry scent. ❤️ I love it. When I got this bottle, I was intimidated by the strong aged up patchouli that greeted me from the box. It's been a few years. Maybe I could wear this more now that the patchouli and other strong notes don't intimidate me as much. On my skin, I can smell cherries and roses. Patchouli is in the background but it seems to give room to a flowery scent. Really lovely ❤️ Glad I made the decision to get it when it was available on BPAL's site. Of Herbs And Altars was right ❤️ It is good!!

    Cigarettes and Offerings

Ah, cigarette smoke ❤️ This is not your usual tobacco though. It smells stronger and wetter than what I have previously smoked. I don't smoke anymore but I still like the smell in a twisted way. This one is long-lasting on my skin. I can put it on at mid-day and still have it smelling sweetly smokey, obviously mellowed out, on my skin. It's quite lovely. I think I may have to read the story again to remind myself what bit of the story has a vibe like this. It has a melancholic vibe to it. I remember the scene of the book with the man looking outside the window while smoking. So good.

    Burial

Smells dark and weird. Clearly wet moss or similar to that. The smell is quite strong and bitter on my skin. It smells too weird and nasty to wear as a "signature" scent, at least to me. I might give this imp to my friend to see if she likes it better than I do. Don't really know how else to describe the smell. It's obviously not for a hot summer day. Maybe in colder climate it works better?? I usually like darker scents but this one feels a bit too dark on me.

Dark Chocolate, Whiskey, and Hazelnut Cream

Whiskey and dark chocolate. Yummy! I don't smell any hazelnut cream on my skin. Pleasant, nicely boozy. It changes into a faint dark chocolatey smell after a few hours when the whiskey has faded. Edit: Oh, this is so pleasant. After seven hours the hazelnut cream note is the only note prominent on the skin and it's oh... so, so nice. Like a chocolate hazelnut treat.

    Vial of Holy Water

A free imp I had. It smells like soap on my skin. Reminds me of doing laundry and washing linen. Meeeehh, a bit bland, It smells okay though. Would I wear this daily? Not really! Maybe if I didn't have other more interesting scents to wear. Edit: Argh, something about this scent gives me a headache. Had to wipe it off my skin. Bleeehh

    Laura

Laura is pretty. On my skin strawberry daiquiris are strong. Violets seem to stay in the shadows for me, but they're there. Something about the scent makes me feel uneasy - formaldehyde, possibly? Sweet fruity and floral notes last on the skin for a long while before they turn into mothball/earthy ones. Quite beautiful and melancholic. Like a pretty poem. Memento Mori ❤️ Edit: Wow - I fell asleep while wearing the perfume. Saw some strange dreams during the night - not sure if the scent affects it, thought it would be funny to mention -, but the strawberry daiquiris were still prominent in the morning when I woke up. They seemed to have a little dance with the earthy notes.

    Nosferatu

Had an imp of this in a velvet pouch amongst free imps. What an interesting scent. For some reason I can only think of an earthy fart. Wet on skin it smells herbal and dusty. Red wine works so well with this one. I think I might give this another chance. No idea why I've avoided it for so long. It has a creepy vibe around it but in a good way. It's not intimidating... feels like it's luring me in. I can't stop sniffing my hand

    Madonna

Ahhh! I love it! At first when put on skin, I smell pomegranate and something sweet - possibly iris or Angel's Trumpet? -. Lovely fruity scent. My bottle of Madonna is aged so maybe that is why the fruity notes are so strong in the bottle. I don't seem to smell much patchouli in there for the first hour or so. Orchids seem to love my skin. I get a lot of compliments when I wear Madonna. Might need to get a new old bottle when I'm done with this one. I'm almost out of it.

    A Skull, A Music Book, A Snuffed-Out Candle

Ah, beeswax ❤️ This scent reminds me of my dad's workspace when I was younger. He was a cobbler so the smell of leather and beeswax reminds me of good memories from my childhood. I got the bottle for this reason back in '21. On my skin, beeswax seems to be the prominent note for a few hours before more notes start to merge in. Leather and beeswax is gorgeous mixed with the tulips. The wear is moderate to me. Leather seems to linger after the rest of the scents have "wandered" off.

Satan Talks to Sin and Death

At first on the skin, it smells like the two musks to me. It feels like I'm about to get a headache, so I let it settle on the skin for a few hours. After an hour or two has passed, lily and violet petals start to be more prominent with Siberian and Tibetan musk. A lot more pleasant to me. It's really soothing to me. Not sure if I can smell any of the other notes on my skin. The tea note is there somewhere. All in all, I love this scent. It's not something I would wear every day, but during those days when I feel like dressing more goth, it's perfect. ❤️
