Oh how I laughed. I completely agree. I had an entirely different idea of what this would smell like. It's a great scent for a nice man. All I get is cologne from this one. Unfortunately I am stuck like this until work ends lol.

This was an unopened aged bottle I bought from the Labs ebay account. I smell powerdy rose and something effervescent when it is wet. It's gets better within the 1st 10 mins and becomes a soft wearable scent. I do get the rose soap that everyone is mentioning. It's okay, I would still wear it. I never did smell wood.

Got this bottle on ebay this past week and wow, I am in love. I amp rose and powder, so I knew what I was getting into. Funny story, I went to dab a little on my wrist for my first wear and accidentally spilled a ton on myself. Let's just say it lasted all day. This has been aging since 2010 right? It smells like sweet powdery rose in the bottle, soft and feminine. After I bathed in it I expected some nuance to peek through but no, just a whole lot of rose and powdery softness. I 100% agree that this is reminiscent of rose jam. That happens to be my favorite lush scent along with snow cake. I do not detect the cherry/almond note that I would have expected. I smell rose and maybe a hint of geranium. The wet was like a slap in the face of sweet rose but it had dried down to something lovely. To me this is not really fruity, but still I get the jam reference. It's a keeper for me and I'm super happy that I have the whole bottle to enjoy.

2012 version I got this bottle from the lab as an extra for a large order. I greatly appreciate the gift. If I had read a description I would not have chosen to buy it but I like having something so different in my collection. Talvikuu smells like soap to me. It's actually really nice though. I smelled the mint at first and it overall has a chill vibe to it. Wet on my skin the mint is hardly noticeable, thank goodness. I smell the clean sort of woody notes. On dry down it is just soapy clean. I like it overall and will wear it on hot days.

I bought this bottle a couple of weeks ago and first, I wonder why the previous owner parted with it? I have worn this a couple of times and I think I am ready to make my first review. In the bottle: it smells sharp and resinous. If this had been my first impression in a store, I would not have high hopes. Wet: I get more wood and maybe dry black coconut? It is not as sharp as before but still not my type of scent. Drydown: this is turning softer. It is still very dry smelling. No longer resinous at all. It has a sweetness in the backround but not enough to define. I like it best dry, but this still is not a scent I would wear. I do not regret the purchase, I have only had a single CT imp and I love the surprise element. I wonder if aging made this so different that the last reviewer fell out of love with it. I will give it more time and a few more wears just to see if grows on me.
