It starts off smelling heavily of herby lavender (I don't care for lavender at all). After it dries down, though, the lavender fades into the background. It becomes a dark, sweet, fruity blend. The sweetness of the current and resin work so well together. After another ten minutes, the musk smells like it's just melting on my skin and the sweetness of the currant is in the background. It doesn't have much throw, and it faded after an hour.

    Bastet

This is one of my all time favorite scents. In the bottle, it's rich and almost boozy. On my skin, it smells incredible. It's rich, creamy, and spicy, but with a soft amber sweetness. The musk and amber are at the forefront, but ends in spicy, resin-y goodness. The spiciness of the saffron cardamom blend together beautifully with the amber. It's complex and elegant. As it dries down, there's a tad powderiness to it, which somehow just works to bring everything together without being too much. It projects the perfect amount for me to be able to smell it (without mindfully sniffing for it) without it being overpowering and lasts a decent amount on my skin.

    Black Lotus

It's sharp, fresh, and (very) sweet. The sweet bubblegum of the lotus is front and center, with the amber in the background. It's bright and pretty but really sweet. As it dries down, the sandalwood and amber come forward, but the sweetness lingers in the background. After 30 minutes, I start to smell the myrrh and cinnamon through the bubblegum. I really love incense and spicy notes, so I'm really happy with this. After an hour, the sweetness starts to tone down and I'm left with a really nice amber. I wish it projected more, because I love it.

It started off as a very fresh rose with a hint of powder. As it dried down, the violet started to come through, but quickly turned soapy on me It's not terrible like some soapy perfumes, where I can taste the soap, but it's still not wearable for me.

I LOVE this one! I have a thing for chocolate and resins, but they are often really heavy and dark. The notes balance each other out in a way that makes this smell light enough for daytime use, which I didn't think was even possible. In the bottle, it smelled like a Wendy's chocolate frosty, and wet, on my skin, it transforms to a deep, rich chocolate. Oddly enough, there's a kind of buttered popcorn smell in the background. Once it dried down, though oooooooooh it's so so good. The myrrh and sandalwood are in the forefront, followed by chocolate and vanilla. It's sweet and light and creamy while still being resinous. I just can't get enough of this!

    Hairy Toad Lily

This started off as super fresh and green, like freshly cut grass, with something super sweet and pretty in the background. But it very quickly became soap on me (green scents tend to do that), and ended up smelling like powdered laundry detergent with a sweet background. If it smelled like it did when it first went on, I think I'd really like this scent.

    Wanda

It smells like if you left a bottle red wine and a basket of overripe cherries in a car with a leather interior in a hot day. The sweetness of the cherry is at the forefront, but it's swallowed up quickly by a deep, hot leather and a kind of plastic smell. After an hour, though, the plastic dies down, and I'm left with a sexy skin musk with a faint leather smell in the background. I don't think it's bad, but I don't think this one works well with my skin chemistry. I never did get a floral note out of it 🤷‍♀️

    Hunger

Looking at the notes, this would be right up my alley. But I don't think this one is for me. While wet, smells like butterfingers and orange blossom! There's a distinct, sweet, nuttiness with a background of white florals. It's not bad, it's just...odd. When it dries down, though, the nuttiness turns into burning plastic and powder. It has quite the throw, so while I tried to give this some time, I ended up scrubbing it because it was too much for me to handle. I'll give it another shot after it's rested a couple of weeks.

    Blood Kiss

On me it smells EXACTLY like honey and clove, down to that sort of bitter astringent aftertaste/smell. Once it dries down, I can smell a rich, musky vanilla along with cherry and something spicy(?). It's smoothe and alluring and I LOVE it 😩 Sadly, my skin ate it up. At the one hour mark, it started to devolve back into that initial honey smell and at the two hour mark, I couldn't smell it anymore, no matter how hard I huffed my wrist.
