Wet: pure, unadulterated mulch. Drying: spice (clove? sage? something tangy), menthol or eucalyptus, clearing the nasal passages - that'll be the vetivert, I guess. Freshly dried: bright. pale green. still menthol-like, but I'm not mad about it. Like digging through the dry dirt and needles at the base of a pine tree. An hour later: still very bright, herby, effervescent, with a lovely summer camp dirt smell at the base. I added a swipe of Dana O'Shea and it's an addicting combination!

Wet (in the bottle and on): pure Tabu, the perfume my aunt used to drench herself in before going to the dive bar... which I find appropriate. Drying: generic women's perfume, starting to go powdery. Like the blonde at the bar next to me has given up on finding someone to go home with, and is now giving me sage womanly advice. An hour in, the bourbon starts to pop up and it's warmer, friendly. Jack & real vanilla coke (not the flavored bottled stuff), with tiniest hint of bright green herb. I don't get mint at all. This is a nice scent, but not a standout on me.

Obatala is like if someone made ghee out of condensed milk, and then turned that into a blended beach beverage. It's rich and buttery without being heavy. If I close my eyes and sniff, I can imagine coconuts, but it's not there unless I'm looking for it. I get zero morphing: it's like that from bottle to my next shower. First time my husband sniffed it on me, he said, "yeah, that's what humans are supposed to smell like." If I had to pick one scent to wear every day, this would be it.

Thanks so much! @Thuy I actually got blasted in the face with powdered cheddar a’la Kraft Mac n cheese when I opened my MU imp yesterday! Hopefully this is a batch thing and my new imp won’t do me like that 😂 I love woody smells, so I’ll look for the spiced rum, and there’s a bottle of Antikythera M in my perfume rack, it’s one of my go-tos! @rhonorv. Lawful and Dee are in the imp order I just placed, yay!!! I do like Le Lethe, but it feels like I’m wearing another person’s lingerie so I’m letting mine age a bit and see what happens.
