In the Sample: Smells almost like pumpkin muffins to me. On Me: Pumpkin spice for sure, don't really smell like muffins now. I cannot smell any coffee, but I do smell some vanilla. I think the pumpkin is still there, but it's being overshadowed by the spices. Combined with my Mouse Circus perfume oil, I smell like I've been working at the carnival all day. My first Hair Gloss and I can totally understand the hype now! For someone who doesn't eat pumpkin, I appreciate this. But I'd say if you were a super pumpkin fan, maybe layering this with a heavier pumpkin scent would be good. However, I truly cannot smell any coffee and for me that is a bit of a bummer. Glad I tried this, but now I'm more curious about the other pumpkin hair glosses.

In the Imp: Love at first sniff - Caramel kettlecorn On Me: The caramel kettlecorn is definitely taking center stage. Some butter is coming through as well as the vanilla. As it's drying, I do smell some cotton candy but I would say it's faintly there. A little salty as well but not too much. I want to just knaw my arm off I smell so good, haha. Definitely the perfect carnival/circus autumn fragrance if you're into foodie scents like me. Regret just getting the imp instead of blind bottling because now I want to bathe in this forever. BPAL please never discontinue this scent!!

In the Imp: Roses, can't smell anything else. On Me: Rose is amping up, but I'm starting to smell the dirt. Slightly leafy as well, but the rose is the main attraction. However, I don't find the rose scent to be overpowering which is nice if you want something more subtle. Reminds me of scents I'd find the ladies at church would wear when I was a kid. Not quite sure how I feel about this one yet. Zombi was the scent from BPAL I've wanted for years. I think I need to try layering it with other scents or wear it some more. It's a good scent don't get me wrong, but I'm wondering if I'll prefer something like Deep in Earth or Graveyard Dirt to this? Definitely a keeper, but not quite ready to purchase a bottle.

In the Imp: Smelled like powdered sugar to me on first sniff. A little floral too, perhaps rose? On Me: I think the smell gets better once dried down, this was a grower scent for me. More of the sweet, lemony scent is coming out and the powdery floral is dying down a bit. I spilled a tiny bit closing the imp, so now the tips of my fingers smell like I've been baking lemon cookies and then did a load of laundry. Very pleasant and comforting, I could see myself wearing this to bed. It's definitely not a scent that's overpowering, I personally think a little goes a long way with this one. Wish I could comment on if boys follow me due to this scent, maybe if there wasn't a pandemic I could try this out and report back. Glad to have tried this, I think this is going to be one of my first bottle purchases. So happy that my first BPAL scent was a success and didn't smell weird on me!!
