    Choke Me

Wet: smells like I dipped my fingers into the syrupy brine of a jar of maraschino cherries and wiped it on my sweaty arm. As it sits, it smells more like that....powdered cherry candy dip? This reminds me of Un which is also a candy cherry powder, but add salty skin. There's definitely a background citrusy skin musk happening, so the whole thing smells like 'tropical starbursts water' on me. If you like powdery candy cherry and skin musk, this is for you.

    Pink Lovebird

2020 version. Very, green, citrusy cardamom dominant with whiffs of pink cotton candy and confetti cake below. Still cardamom dominant on me 40 minutes after application. I'd like it more if the other notes were stronger, or the cardamom wasn't so intense.

Fake Banana in a Fuzzy Sweater

In bottle: Banana Circus Peanut. Wet on me: banana runts! And vaguely cologne-y/shaving cream, like bpals hay note when it's more masc. The sweater note is there under the banana runt shaving cream cologne. I agree that the sweater note does smell like cashmere. This gets more sweater-y on me over time. Sheepfold Moonlight + banana runts.

    Carved Wooden General Store

I picked this one up out of sheer curiosity of the notes, and I expect other people's mileage might vary quite a bit due to skin chemistry. Wet: oh! Lightly citrus metallic and wooden toys for toddlers with the sanded rounded edges, but in a way I like. Green musk? Yeah, green musk. Or something else vegetal. The metallic smell does remind me of an oiled cast iron pan. Im not getting any dried beans or flour so far. It's mostly fresh green musk and metal now. I'm not mad at it.

    Fleece Skeleton Onesie

Fleece skeleton onesie smells like cotton, drugstore lipstick, something vaguely peach-like but isn't, and unsweet vanilla. There's also probably a white floral. After an hour it was mostly the floral and cotton, and definitely reminded me of dryer sheets.

    Jaunty Tater

In the bottle: definitely a wiff of raw, cut potatoes and starch. Salt. Something citrusy. On me: citrusy and almost floral? doesn't read as raw potatoes now, but there's a still a warm/bright starchy potato/powdery quality to it. I'm not huge on citrus, but I don't mind the citrus quality of it. The potato peeks out again as the scent dries down.

    Lady Reading Poetry

This opens with velvety lilac pedals over a touch of leather, cloth, and a bit of Frankincense. The vanilla is muted. I was hoping this would be like a lace, but it's more....simple. Not as well blended as a lace and doesn't have that cognac note. If you like creamy, powdery lilacs you will like this. As far as lilac scents, this one is very pretty (and what I had hoped vigil for harvest suitors would smell like), but I was hoping this would be less lilac and more the rest of the stuff. On dry down, the lilac calms down and I have a creamy cloth smell with frankincense and a touch of leather.

    Spumoni

This is pistachio forward (salty, creamy, nutty), with sharp concentrated points of cherry. It has the same cold melty ice cream smell as Spoopy Kid, which is interesting. There's just a hint of chocolate in the background. Not too sweet. I like it, but I wish it had a bit more cherry smell.

    Bayou Fluid

Echoing the review above me, this is great wet. I get a lemon / lime syrup smell, with some creamy jasmine and a hint of mud alongside this, zingy ginger. The ginger note balances the sweetness well. On dry down, the ginger fades and the scent becomes lemon lime and a bit of Jasmine. Not nearly as enjoyable.

    Snake Oil Sufganiyot

On me I get grocery store vanilla pudding cups, snake oil, and a touch of donut. No fruit jelly to be found. Over time, the snake oil becomes more prominent but I can still smell the pudding and the donut.

Autumn Landscape with a Flock of Turkeys

Wet, this had a citrus rind sort of note (piquant) that dominated the scent and I couldn't smell anything else for about 20 minutes. After the warm up /dry down, it became a powdery clean linen smell. Linens fresh from the dryer smelling of the sweet, autumn themed dryer sheet you used. I was hoping for something earthy with the dead leaves note and this the opposite of that, so I'll be rehoming my bottle.

    Autumn 1990

This smells on me like Thorns Clove Cigarette plus dead wet leaves, and a touch of hair spray. I amp clove, so very slowly this is becoming a clove single note, but I think you like the dead leaves accord and you like the clove cigarette scent you'll enjoy this.

    Bobbing for Blood Kisses

This was mostly red apple dominant and added more sweetness to the point of making the scent candy-like. Much too sweet and too much apple for me.

    Server Gremlins

Should you chance to visit Roswell new Mexico and stop into one of the alien themed cafes for refreshments, this is the iced tea on the menu: refreshingly slimy, with aloe, green musk tea and a touch of spice (nutmeg? Allspice?).

    Supposed to be a Pretzel

No pretzels or popcorn to be found, but you did buy a package of off brand saltines and are enjoying them with extra buttery spread while you sit on a bench near the ocean.

    Dracul

Oh no. No, no, no, no. Wet: The pine /orange combo smells too close to a deodorizer a previous roommate used to cover cat pee smell with a hint of pee also from the pine. Going to wash it off now.

    Grief Moth Part II

Wet: heavy 'perfumy' (amberette seed?) with rose, and a bit of mushroom in the back. Curiously this is the first bpal blend I've smelled with mushroom where it actually smells a bit like brown button mushroom in addition to the earthy default smell. As it starts to dry, I can smell the patchouli finally start to peek out. Dry my skin: it stays perfumey followed by the dried roses note. The patchouli and mushroom are a whiff of earth in the background. It gave me a bit of a headache. That dominant note is aromatic in a 'perfumy' way, sweet, but tempered by something mineral. A bit of salt? Similar to Signum Crucis, which I prefer.

    Mag Mell

I love white ginger! Wet: I get a burst of sweet green grass, white ginger, and something that smells like the best fruit gummy candy (sage + ginger?). Dry down: now it smells like a fruity chapstick or candle. Synthetic fruits and wax. A bit powdery. Yeah, I've definitely had a lip balm this flavor and it wasn't my favorite.

    Calico Jack

The leather in this makes it smell masculine me, but it doesn't smell cologne-y at all. This morphed a lot. Started out with a sunny aquatic breeze, a cloud of brown leather dust, and blonde woods. It morphs to be kelp dominant for a bit (the same kelp in Cthulhu). Then the musk picks up and goes a bit powdery. Now the driftwood (different from the blonde wood) is dominant. This does live up to the description of a weathered deck of a pirate ship, all dry and salty/spicy drift wood with some underlying musk and leather. An interesting journey, but not something I would choose to put on again.

    The Phantom Wooer

A fart of lemon, limp green weeds from the flower bed burned in a fire pit, and dried out crusty moss. An absolute, revolting rotting compost heap of a scent thanks to my skin chemistry.

    Suck It

2018 version: Applied to the skin, this smells like I spilled cherry cough syrup and zima and myself.

    Chimera

Within five minutes of applying, this was CINNAMON x 10,000 and I couldn't smell anything else long after it had dried down. I had to wipe it off eventually.

    Cthulhu

This instantly became Irish Spring soap on me the millisecond I applied it. -roll commercial -

    Noisy Goose Moon 2022

Wet: banana laffy taffy and an orange circus peanut candy. Yes, you can smell the foam texture of the peanut candy. Dry: calms down very quickly into a light vanilla with a hint of marshmallow and the faintest tinge of banana, and rum? Very close to the skin, with that touch of frankincense peeking out at the end. I wish it would have lasted longer, and I'm surprised I liked it.

    Melty Creme Egg

Tracked this down finally. wet: Same dried chocolate note in gelt, chocolate rum scarab, and bliss with a bit of sugared cream, and something pretending to be caramel (a touch of amber, brandy?). The chocolate smells more 'melted' as the oil warms up on my skin. Dry: a close to the skin, warm and sweet chocolate scent. The cream note stands out a bit, and smells a little bit synthetic on me but my skin chemistry has trouble with BPAL cream notes. It's softer than Chocolate Rum Scarab which is loud and heavy on the rum. It has less amber than Gelt. Hexennacht also makes a cream egg scent, and the Hexennacht version is louder, sweeter and heavy on the booze.
