Huh...anybody up to a road trip to SD and back? It'll only be over night...some time this week/end. Staying at a hotel. I am bringing Dayson, so kids are certainly welcome. Id love the company. I haven't run a long road trip since Charmaine's wedding...I look forward to the company. Cities only add an extra 45 mins or so each way...I wouldn't mind dropping down there on the way.

I love the "learning the baby's language" stage!Dayson now says Kitty, kitty cat, and dog sometimes (added to mum and dada). He says BOOK too...both repeating, and when he wants the book you are reading orwants to give it back...unfortunately it is pronounced "deutscs"..."Bu, bu, bu" is repeated "deu, deu, deu"...and book is always "deutscs"...but he is consistant, tries, and uses it in context.I really wonder how much intentional talking, and for how long, we completely miss and ignor...

Okay...I pulled back from posting or commenting about politics for the most part. But I noticed that both sides have many people who say they are moving to Canada if "the other guy" wins. I wonder if Canada will see an influx of American immigrants this coming few months...the people who say it always seem so strongly convinced about their resolutions...

Ugh...decided to take sleeping pills in hopes that they help (they never have before...but its been months since I've tried)...It doesn't seem to matter if I go to sleep at 7pm or 11pm...I ALWAYS wake at 2am and finally give up and get up at 3am...I spend the entire rest of the day trying to get more sleep...while Dayson spends it proving that toddlers really don't need naps. T his finally getting started and awake by 4 pm shit needs to stop!

Erm...Dayson has this Kitty I got for him...has sensors so it runs away from a child when they approach from the back, and sensors in the front so it stops and turns when it hits a wall or something (like a rumba without suction). Supposed to encourage child interaction, walking, etc...The thing is...it doesn't quite enunciate "chase" very well every time. So no matter how often I listen to it...I keep hearing things like "take me again!" (I'm not the only one either)It's "theme song"...

Byerly's Post Office in Edina, MNDO NOT USE IT! Drive to another one. I sent 4 packages a few weeks ago. 2 were lost, and one was shipped to my home instead of the person it was for because the attendant put the postage on the back of the envelope which was plainly marked "FROM" in big letters pointing to the return address label on the flap! Never mind that they are slow, and I have looked and about 1 in 5 ratings for them on various sites are good. They apparently mess up and are slo...

Tomorrow I will either wear one of my Lolita dresses (likely the most recent one I've gotten and never worn before) or a conglomeration that includes my wedding skirt in a Renassiance (sp) mashup-ish kind of look.
