Could someone list all of the pirate scents?

The lab definitely needs a unique pirate section!

    Owl Baby Night Scents

My Little Crow (21 months) is a night owl, and always has been. I am most decidedly not. I don't mind if he plays quietly beside me in bed, but he seems to prefer kicking and bouncing instead. Does anyone have a recommendation of a BPAL blend (I'm thinking perhaps something in the sleep collection) that would nudge him towards settling down? I'd love to scent his pillow with nice smelling stuff that also makes him drowsy. And I can scent my nursies with it, too, so he associates the smell with peacefulness and good things... Already tried Temple of Dreams, but that just made him mutter things like "tractor" and "airplane" in his sleep. And thrash about before waking up. Guess he had some intense dreams. We're in process of transitioning to a "trundle bed" and away from so much night nursing, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Little Crow also wants to be scented now, and I'm sure he'd like his own special blend to try on just like Mommy and Sister.

    F5

F5 is a clean, refreshing scent. I think it's rather sporty, like riding in a convertible to the beach with the top down. It's absolutely wonderful in the bottle, but turns to soap on me. A nice, clean, refreshing soap. But still soap. Like Irish Spring. Definitely a pick-me-up, wake-me-up scent for the right person.

    Tristran

OMG this is the ultimate adventure hero scent! It smells young and virile and naively adventurous. It would be perfect for a teenage boy or other young male. I must confess it smell fantastic on my husband!

    Black Annis

Black Annis lurks in the darkest of places. This is the scent of a cave, with old leaves and dry bones. It is the scent of the basement in the old house that scared you so much as a child. Faerygirl described it as the scent of a rock shop. It is the earthiest of scents. This is not wet earth, it's dry earth, dessicated, with something like the tang of old blood that seeped in long ago. It's a very dark scent. Very scary, in the most visceral way. The thing that lives in the place smelling of Black Annis is NOT your friend. It wants to, and indeed it will, eat you. That's it, end of story. Black Annis smells like death and the utter finality of living. I think it is perfect for Halloween and other dark times of the year. It would make a great room scent for a haunted house. It just adds that creepy edge. I do love Black Annis, but I can't wear it for too long because it makes me feel a little spooked. I don't want to summon her, which I feel this scent does. This scent is the exact scent of the last scene in The Blair Witch Project.

Bluebeard is a fairy tale villain who has a very gruesome story. You must be thinking of Blackbeard.

    Owl Baby Night Scents

Yes, well, Little Crow already is a little boy in his odor - sweat and dirt and a vague hay scent from playing in the weeds. Or sometimes, it's a mulchy leaf smell from playing in the woods. There's a very unique scent that is little-boy sweat, but I usually find it mixed with dirt. I'm intrigued by the idea of TKO. I might just have to gets me some. By all means, continue with the suggestions! I'm sure I'm not the only one with a night-owl toddler.

BPAL scents appropriate for very young children?

Faerygirl (9) is as rabid about the preciouss as I am! She has her own Faery collection. She also loves woodsy scents. Her top ten are: 1. Hamadryad 2. Black Forest 3. Loviatar 4. Robin Goodfellow 5. Leanan Sidhe 6. Thanatopsis 7. Crow Moon 8. Cancer 2007 9. Oberon 10. Titania And she's eager to enable her best friend! Also, she reviews scents along with me. Most of my reviews have a Faerygirl section at the end.

    Cinnamon girl...

Tintagel smelled like Christmasy cinnamon to me and Faerygirl. Oh yummy!

    Thanatopsis

Thanatopsis is a grand old forest, probably at the treeline of an ancient mountain. It's not so piney that it hurts my nose. It has animals in it. I enjoy taking my time with Thanatopsis.

    Burial

Wow. This was intense and wonderful. Deep earth covered in pine needles. Very rich piney earth. It's got a lot of lasting power. It smells like the heart of a dark forest. I do like it very much.

    Tintagel

Tintagel smells like Christmas in ye olde days, the way Christmas ought to smell. Mulled wine, warm cider, hearty laughter. There's a strong cinnamon smell to this blend. Both Faerygirl and I are now desirous of this blend for Christmastime!

    Lyonesse

Lyonesse must share some notes with Grog, because I smelled that distinctive butterynut flavor. I found my visit to Lyonesse warm and joyful, like a kitchen with red tile floors and some wonderful dessert baking in the oven. I think I'd like to revisit the bakeries of Lyonesse again very soon! This is also a scent I'd like to try on my husband. For some reason, these yeasty warm dessert things remind me of him.

    Morocco

To me, Morocco smells like true vanilla - the kind my aunt brings me from Mexico. It's sweet and delicious, but not sticky or overbearing. It makes me feel happy and homey. This is the only vanilla-esque scent I've been able to wear and enjoy. I can't help wondering what it will smell like on my hubby, who does all the baking in our house. Mmm.

    Dragon's Claw

At first, I was deceived by the Dragon's sweetness. I wasn't sure this was the beast I'd heard so much about. However, shortly after disarming me with its faux sugary aspect, the Dragon unsheathed its claws. These claws are very hot and dry and sharp. Dragon's Claw is a powerful scent, and the more it tears into me, the more I like it.

    Mme. Moriarty, Misfortune Teller (2006)

At first, Madame Moriarty intimidated me with a cloyingly sweet demeanor. It was mixed with something sinister underneath. As the reading proceeded, however, I found that she really understood me and my chemistry. I found myself relaxing more in her presence and ready to hear what she had to say. For a while, we got along quite well. Unfortunately, as the reading came to an end, that showbusiness personality again came to the fore, and I left feeling unsure of whether Madame Moriarty was a friend or foe.

    Sed Non Satiata

Finally, a honey I can wear! This scent is softly glowing warmth - honey and rich spices. It's absolutely yummy, although from the note descriptions I really didn't think I'd like it. Just goes to show that you really have to TRY a blend before you make a judgment. I love the way the honey blends so smoothly with the patchouli, musk, and other ingredients. Faerygirl: It's nice and light.

    Blood Lotus

Blood Lotus smells like red cherry suckers. On the drydown, it eases into something muskier, but it's still pretty sweet. It reminds me of sticky sucker residue on my little boy's face. Not something I really want to wear. I would recommend this to sweet fruit lovers. Faerygirl: Smells like candy at first, but then it smells like rotting spices.
  20. JennyGardener

    Queen of Sheba

Strong on the almonds. That's all I get. A rather bitter almond scent. Not for me.
  21. JennyGardener

    Skuld

I smell green honey, starting to ferment. It's sickly sweet. As it dries, I pick up a very grapey scent in addition to rotten honey. Um, no. This one is NOT for me. Also, it feels a little burny on my arm. Off to the swaps with ye! Faerygirl: It smells like honey with brood (that's baby bees - little larvae) in it!
  22. JennyGardener

    Dragon's Hide

The Dragon's Hide is very dry. But it quickly dissolves to an innocuous soap, losing all draconic character whatsoever! It was a surprising, and ultimately disappointing morph. Faerygirl: Blah!
  23. JennyGardener

    Cancer 2007

Definitely aquatic and moody, with lots of affection. There's something in this blend I just don't like, though. I don't want to be near the scent. Bleah! Faerygirl: It's a good soap on me. It's watery.

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?

O my, I am really enchanted with The Sportive Sun. Is there anything else that smells like this?

What do bottles and labels look like?

Oh, they are wonderful! ...and he's doing a very good job!
